Numerical simulation and experimental investigation show that die radius is the predominant factor affecting the deformation process. For the given dimensions of 3A21 aluminium alloy tube, the feasible die radius varies between 2-4mm. The deformation process predicted by the finite element simulation agrees with the experiment results well.展开更多
