The visible"Caliphate"of the IS is breaking up with an obvious trend of declining, which will return to a normal terrorist group from a new-type and semi-militarized terrorist organization with an independent army, territories and administrative systems. Such a change will bring about new uncertainties to the IS itself and the environment of international terrorism. For some time to come in the future, how to cope with the impact brought about by such a change of the IS will become a major issue of the international community.展开更多

The authors try to make a clarification of the Six Day War impact on Israel and its role in the regional and international scenes on the one hand, and the war's effect on the Arab states, including the Palestinian resistance against Israel, on the other hand. The war changed Israel's status from being a small state to becoming one of the most powerful regional powers. While the image of most Arab states was damaged and they lost their confidence among their peoples. A drama theoretic approach is used to overcome these limiting assumptions: Drama Theory (DT) II allows global leaders and national security policy makers to engage in a rational-emotional process of re-defining international security negotiations (and their "positions" in them) Until agreement on a satisfactory nuclear non-proliferation resolution is reached. The 2009 nuclear energy negotiations between Iran and world powers are modeled with DT II and the Confrontation ManagerTM Decision Support System. By adjusting strategy and deriving transformative security policy, it is shown how international security can be achieved by promoting nuclear non-proliferation and resolving strategic conflict.展开更多

To understand the new international security situation highlighted by the complex conflicts and its future trend, particular attention should be given to the suspended coordination and sustained differences within the international community. With the deepening development of economic globalization and world multi-polarization structure, China has ushered in a number of major development opportunities, but also faced with a complex and severe international security situation.展开更多
