The purpose of this symposium is to stimulate a dialogue among basic and clinical cancer researchers between China and other countries to speed up translation of new findings in basic cancer biology into disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. We hope to use this conference as a forum to create a unique opportunity for exchange in current discoveries, fostering multidisciplinary collaborations, and identification of future opportunities in cancer treatment and patient care. There will be four sessions in this symposium:展开更多

People can be rightly informed of the current devel- oping trend of this field from the contents of these symposia. This paper will introduce briefly a general overview of the 15th ISPC. As viewed from the number of papers and their contents, there is still abundant research on thermal plasma, and the needs fOr micro-electronic technology and high performance films have driven forward continuous and intensive development of the research on low-pressure, non-equilibrium plasmas, while the research on normal pressure, non-equilibrium plasma has become a new highlight in this field.展开更多

Specifically, this study examines the characteristics of ties, actors, and international network configuration to assess finn's accessibility to unique technologies. This study was conducted by research analysis in the aerospace industry. The total sample size used in this study is 125 cases of international R&D consortiums from January 1980 to December 2000. The result of this study supports the effects of "strength of tie" and "characteristic of actors" on the technology transfer explained by network theory. It also demonstrates that the international network structure that would facilitate the technology transfer is shaped by dual type of tie; the apparent type of tie is general, usual, and functional tie, and the hidden one is the national culture.展开更多
