The Eigo Note has been formal introducted from April 2011. It is needless to say that the prime purpose of English textbooks is to help students acquire linguistic knowledge and skills (Yuasa, 2010, p. 154). This assessment was accomplished through the early introduction of the Eigo Note over the 2009-2010 Japanese school year. The assignment of letter grades, A-F, as commonly prescribed in the United States school system, was given to each unit based on the author's past and present teaching experience of over 20 years in the Japanese school system. Concluding remarks contain comments and suggestions for Japanese team teaching in the Eigo Note instructional environment展开更多
