In the context of the postmodern world, there can arise two questions: First; "Having in mind achallenge of the postmodern world, that is incredulity to grand narratives, is it better to remove the Catholic religionin the curriculum since it is a form of a grand narrative?" And second; "Having in mind a phenomenon that thepostmodern world brings which is hyperreality, what happens to the teacher and to the student of the Catholicreligion in the classroom?" For over a century various psychiatrists have thought that Jesus was a paranoid schizophrenic and we now know that the most frequent cause of schizophrenia is the repression of homosexuality. The Gospel of John has two passages that seem to confirm the hypothesis that Jesus was homosexual.展开更多

The story of salvation, especially the life of Jesus, forms the basis through which many Christians encounter the eternal. Indeed, each facetof Christ is intricately intertwined with the others and that Christian literature often focuses on redefining variousfigures in the image of Christ and on illustrating morality. Without disparaging in any way the story of Jesus Christ, this paper parallels the conceptualization of epic heroism and the narrative of Jesus Christ. In doing this, the articleprovides a critical exegesis of elements of epic heroism in the story of Christ. Ultimately, reading the story of JesusChrist through the prism of epic heroism helps us submit that it is a "tale of Christian identity" comparable to theepic identity and able to eonvey eternal meaning to Christian groups who recognize it as "their story of salvation".展开更多

Through an interesting contrast between the calm restraint of the householder and high anxi ety of his slaves, this parable suggests that people should stay calm and learn from God to be tolerate and lenient religiously to"let wheat and weeds grow together until the harvest". Meanwhile, God drops a subtle hint to seed wheat positively in stead of sug gesting people to remove weeds negatively.展开更多
