In this article, starting from this correct Schwarzschild metric, I also propose corrections to the other traditional Reissner-Nordstrøm, Kerr and Kerr-Newman metrics on the basis of the fact that these metrics should be equal to the correct Schwarzschild metric in the borderline case in which they reduce to the case described by this metric. In this way, we see that, like the correct Schwarzschild metric, also the correct Reissner-Nordstrøm, Kerr and Kerr-Newman metrics do not present any event horizon (and therefore do not present any black hole) unlike the traditional Reissner-Nordstrøm, Kerr and Kerr-Newman metrics.展开更多

However, the operation of gyroscopes at the exceptional point(EP) is challenging due to strict fabrication requirements and experimental uncertainties. We propose a new quasi-APT-symmetric micro-optical gyroscope which can be operated at the EP by easily shifting the Kerr nonlinearity. A single resonator is used as the core sensitive component of the quasi-APT-symmetric optical gyroscope to reduce the size, overcome the strict structural requirements and detect small rotation rates. Moreover, the proposed scheme also has an easy readout method for the frequency splitting. As a result, the device achieves a frequency splitting 10~5 times higher than that of a classical resonant optical gyroscope with the Earth's rotation. This proposal paves the way for a new and valuable method for the engineering of micro-optical gyroscopes.展开更多

The expansion scalars diverge at the ring singularity;however, the propagators remain finite, which is an indication that at the quantum level singularities might disappear or, at least, become softened.展开更多

We explore the absorption spectra and the Kerr nonlinearity of the coherent system via the interaction between a four-level atomic system and triple fields. We obtain the absorption spectra with double, triple and even quadruple peaks which depend on both the magnitude and the difference of the coupling fields. The Kerr nonlinearity always remains reversely correlated with the absorption spectra. We find that the large coupling detunings can lead to a significant growth of the Kerr nonlinearity and the degenerate four-wave mixing. Both the Kerr nonlinearity and the four-wave mixing can be managed by adjusting the detunings of the coupling fields.展开更多

A “direct problem” is to find the generating compatibility conditions (CC) in the form of an operator D1: F0 →F1. When D is involutive, that is when the corresponding system Rq = ker (Φ) is involutive, this procedure provides successive first order involutive operators D1, ..., Dn. Though D1 οD = 0 implies ad (D) οad(D1) = 0 by taking the respective adjoint operators, then ad (D) may not generate the CC of ad (D1) and measuring such “gaps” led to introduce extension modules in differential homological algebra. They may also depend on the parameters and such a situation is well known in ordinary or partial control theory. When Rq is not involutive, a standard prolongation/projection (PP) procedure allows in general to find integers r, s such that the image of the projection at order q+r of the prolongation is involutive but it may highly depend on the parameters. However, sometimes the resulting system no longer depends on the parameters and the extension modules do not depend on the parameters because it is known that they do not depend on the differential sequence used for their definition. The purpose of this paper is to study the above problems for the Kerr (m, a), Schwarzschild (m, 0) and Minkowski (0, 0) parameters while computing the dimensions of the inclusions for the respective Killing operators. Other striking motivating examples are also presented.展开更多

The solution parameter is the latitude coordinate. The dependences of the orbital radius on the black hole spinning parameter and the angle of inclination of its plane with respect to the rotation axis are calculated for flat circular non-equatorial orbits. It is proved that all spherical photon trajectories in the Kerr spacetime are unstable, as well as equatorial ones, and the critical photon orbits in the Schwarzschild metric.展开更多
