The application of thermoelectric devices(TEDs)for personalized thermoregulation is attractive for saving energy while balancing the quality of life.TEDs that directly attach to human skin remarkably minimized the ene...The application of thermoelectric devices(TEDs)for personalized thermoregulation is attractive for saving energy while balancing the quality of life.TEDs that directly attach to human skin remarkably minimized the energy wasted for cooling the entire environment.However,facing the extreme dynamic geometry change and strain of human skin,conventional TEDs cannot align with the contour of our bodies for the best thermoregulation effect.Hence,we designed a kirigami-based wearable TED with excellent water vapor permeability,flexibility,and conformability.Numerical analysis and experimental results reveal that our product can withstand various types of large mechanical deformation without circuit rupture.The stated outcome and proposed facile approach not only reinforce the development of wearable TEDs but also offer an innovative opportunity for different electronics that require high conformability.展开更多

This article analyzes the properties of the traditional economic process and its essential effect on urban system; it makes a complete survey on the properties of new economic circumstances and its effect on re-forming of urban system; the complicated influential process and result are concluded into the aspects, such as new growth motive force, new economic organization, new location factor and new spatial phenomenon, and its inner effect mechanism in shown as well. In this article, the change process of urban system space is explained in four aspects: (1) dissimulation in the process of spatial agglomeration and diffusion; (2) change of “center-periphery” effect; (3) acceleration growth of axial regions; (4) re-forming of the world and regional urban system. Methods: The Delphi method was used to consult 18 nursi...Objective: This study sought to investigate the content of the prescription rights and the prescription types of midwives under certain circumstances in China. Methods: The Delphi method was used to consult 18 nursing experts and 14 medical experts, A total of 30 experts finished the consulting. The reliability of the expert opinions was analyzed to determine the specific situations in which midwives may write prescriptions, the content of the prescription rights and the prescription types. Results: In six specific circumstances (uterine contraction fatigue, uterine contractions that are too strong, postpartum hemorrhage, premature rupture of the membranes, normal delivery and neonatal asphyxia), midwives have the right to prescribe and administer medication, including 20 drugs and 13 auxiliary examinations. Of these drugs and examinations, 51.5% of the drugs and adjuvant examination prescriptions tend to be independent prescriptions, 30.3% tend to be protocol prescriptions, and 18.2% are similar to both types. Conclusions: The midwives should be granted some prescription rights to enhance their autonomy and the professionalism of midwifery.展开更多

Kirigami arts have provided a more promising method for building multiscale structures,which can shape two-dimensional(2D)sheets into three-dimensional(3D)configurations by cutting and folding.Here,we first carried ou...Kirigami arts have provided a more promising method for building multiscale structures,which can shape two-dimensional(2D)sheets into three-dimensional(3D)configurations by cutting and folding.Here,we first carried out a theoretical analysis of the mechanical properties of 2D honeycomb lattice structures and experimental verification combined with finite element(FE)simulation.Furthermore,a series of thick-walled 3D kirigami-inspired honeycomb(TW3KH)structures with different mechanical properties were designed and fabricated on the exploration and optimization of geometric parameters of 2D honeycomb structures.The investigations of folding feasibility,self-expansion,and self-folding performance experimentally showed that our designed four-dimensional(4D)printing structure had good programmability and shape memory capability and a large volume change ratio during shape change.Meanwhile,research on its compression deformation behavior found that the TW3KH structures can recover load-bearing capacity very well when the angle is positive.Therefore,these TW3KH structures have great advantages in space-saving smart load-bearing equipment.展开更多

From the research of the mainly weather systems which caused heavy rain and the distribution characteristics of atmospheric circulation situation field, we conclude that on the basis of Fujian special geographical location and terrain, there are four types (easterly jet, warm-type sheer, inverted V-shaped trough of typhoon, westerly trough) are conductive to the circulation patterns of causing the heavy rain of typhoon. Wearable electronics are advancing towards miniaturization and flexibility.However,traditional energy supply methods have largely hindered their development.An effective solution to this problem is to convert human me...Wearable electronics are advancing towards miniaturization and flexibility.However,traditional energy supply methods have largely hindered their development.An effective solution to this problem is to convert human mechanical energy into electricity to power wearable electronic devices.Therefore,it is greatly attractive to design flexible,foldable and even stretchable energy harvesting devices.Herein,we use the electrospinning and kirigami approach to develop a type of highly stretchable kirigami-patterned nanofiber-based triboelectric nanogenerator(K-TENG).Due to its innovative structural design,the K-TENG can achieve a tensile strain of 220%,independent of the tensile properties of the material itself.When a person swings their arms,the K-TENG fixed to the clothing can convert mechanical energy from human movement into electrical energy.The produced electricity can directly drive 50 LED lights and a digital watch,or be stored in a lithium battery to charge the smartwatch and smartphone,respectively.This study employs a new method to fabricate a stretchable triboelectric nanogenerator and demonstrates its promising applications in wearable power technology.展开更多
