目的探讨吻合第一掌背动脉Kite皮瓣桡侧神经增强拇指指腹感觉功能的临床应用价值。方法以2008年1月~2013年12月采用吻合第一掌背动脉Kite皮瓣桡侧神经的方法治疗拇指指腹皮肤缺损患者40例为实验组,采用吻合第一掌背动脉Kite皮瓣桡侧神... 目的探讨吻合第一掌背动脉Kite皮瓣桡侧神经增强拇指指腹感觉功能的临床应用价值。方法以2008年1月~2013年12月采用吻合第一掌背动脉Kite皮瓣桡侧神经的方法治疗拇指指腹皮肤缺损患者40例为实验组,采用吻合第一掌背动脉Kite皮瓣桡侧神经的方法增强拇指指腹感觉功能;以2005年1月~2007年12月收治的拇指指腹皮肤缺损患者30例作为对照组,不吻合kite皮瓣桡神经。所有患者均记录指腹感觉恢复功能和术后皮瓣周围外观及有无神经瘤形成。结果 1实验组seddon感觉评定减少率显著高于对照组,组间差异有统计学意义(P〈0.05)。2两组患者拇指皮瓣外观良好,功能满意,色泽与周围肤色相近。3两组患者术后神经瘤形成率差异无统计学意义(P〉0.05)。结论吻合第一掌背动脉Kite皮瓣桡侧神经可以更大限度地增强拇指指腹感觉,降低患者伤残率,更好地改善患者的身心健康。 展开更多

Phase behavior of rotationally asymmetric Brownian kites containing 90°internal angles

Previous Monte Carlo simulations have shown that ordered tetratic phases can emerge in a dense two-dimensional Brownian system of rotationally asymmetric hard kites having 90°internal angles.However,there have been no experimental investigations yet to compare with these simulation results.Here,we have fabricated two types of micron-sized kites having internal angles of 72°-90°-108°-90°and 72°-99°-90°-99°,respectively,and we have experimentally studied their phase behavior in two-dimensional systems.Interestingly and in contrast to the Monte Carlo simulations,the experimental results show a phase sequence of isotropic fluid-hexagonal rotator crystal-square crystal as the area fractionφA increases for both types of kites.The observed square crystal displays not only a quasi-long-range translational order but also(quasi-)long-range 4-fold bond-and molecular-orientational order;these characteristics confirm that tetratic order can emerge even in dense Brownian systems of rotationally asymmetric particles.A model based on local polymorphic configurations(LPCs)is proposed to understand the origin of the square lattice order in these dense kite systems.The results in this study provide a new route to realize custom-designed self-assembly of colloids by controlling LPCs. 展开更多

Among the renewable energy sources, high altitude wind power is gaining increased attention for its better strength, steadiness, and coverage compared to the traditional ground-based wind power with wind turbines. However, unlike the latter, the technology for high altitude wind is still immature and the works on the field are mostly empirical. In our research, we try to set up a framework about force analysis and provide a stepping stone for other kite energy researchers and engineers to develop more efficient systems. In this paper, we analyzed and experimentally verified the effects of acting aerodynamic forces at different angles of attack ranging from 0° to 90°. We also studied the power potentials of a kite corresponding to these varying forces. The work will enable a researcher or engineer to design a more feasible and more efficient kite power system with better understanding of the kite dynamics. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Kitesurfing is an increasingly popular and potentially dangerous extreme water sport.We hypothesized that kitesurfing has a higher injury rate than other(contact)sports and that the minority of injuries are severe.AIM To investigate the incidence and epidemiology of kitesurfing injuries in a Dutch cohort during a complete kitesurfing season.METHODS Injury data of 194 kitesurfers of various skill levels,riding styles and age were surveyed prospectively during a full kitesurf season.The participants were recruited through the Dutch national kitesurf association,social media,local websites and kitesurf schools.Participants completed digital questionnaires monthly.The amount of time kitesurfing was registered along with all sustained injuries.If an injury was reported,an additional questionnaire explored the type of injury,injury location,severity and the circumstances under which the injury occurred.RESULTS The mean age of participants was 31 years(range,13-59)and the majority of the study population was male(74.2%).A total of 177 injuries were sustained during 16816 kitesurf hours.The calculated injury rate was 10.5 injuries per 1000 h of kitesurfing.The most common injuries were cuts and abrasions(25.4%),followed by contusions(19.8%),joint sprains(17.5%)and muscle sprains(10.2%).The foot and ankle were the most common site of injury(31.8%),followed by the knee(14.1%)and hand and wrist(10.2%).Most injuries were reported to occur during a trick or jump.Although the majority of injuries were mild,severe injuries like an anterior cruciate ligament tear,a lumbar spine fracture,a bimalleolar ankle fracture and an eardrum rupture were reported.CONCLUSION The injury rate of kitesurfing is in the range of other popular(contact)sports.Most injuries are relatively mild,although kitesurfing has the potential to cause serious injuries. 展开更多
