Research Characteristics of Thermal Comfort of Urban Block Landscape Based on Knowledge Graph Analysis

The landscape environment of urban blocks plays a significant role in improving the comfort of urban thermal environment and promoting green and high-quality development.The 342 papers related to the research on the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort in China,collected by CNKI(China National Knowledge Infrastructure)from 2002 to 2022,are used as the research object.Through bibliometric statistical analysis,LLR algorithm,and cluster analysis,the current research status of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort in China is analyzed and processed,and its external characteristics are identified.Using the information visualization software CiteSpace,the research topics in the field of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort are presented in the form of knowledge graphs.Through co-occurrence analysis of keywords and trend of word frequency changes,the development trends of research hotspots and cutting-edge fields of the impact of urban block landscape environment on thermal comfort are determined,hoping to provide reference for future research in this field.

Strategies and Paths for Constructing Rural Landscape Ecological Security Pattern in the Context of Rural Revitalization

It is one of the fundamental research contents of rural revitalization by constructing a ecological security pattern of rural landscape,providing important basis for scientifically formulating rural spatial planning and sustainable rural development.The research on ecological security patterns of landscape at home and abroad is mainly focused on urban areas.In the context of rural revitalization,the research on strategies and paths for constructing the ecological security pattern of rural landscapes aims to provide important references for the overall planning and design of rural areas and the optimization of rural resource allocation.Using 3S(GPS,RS,GIS)technology methods,this paper systematically analyzes and elaborates on the construction strategies and paths of rural water ecological security pattern,rural biological protection security pattern,rural geological disaster security pattern,and local cultural landscape security pattern.Through the comprehensive superposition of the patterns,a comprehensive ecological security pattern of rural landscape is finally constructed.In the process of constructing and improving the ecological security pattern of rural landscape,emphasis is placed on top-level design,long-term planning,multi-party participation,mechanism improvement,technological innovation,and the strategy of“integrating knowledge with action”.

Research Progress of Landscape Ecology

Landscape ecology is a new interdisciplinary subject which has developed rapidly in recent years,and it is a hot spot in the research of resources,environment and ecology.Based on the theoretical framework of ecology,landscape ecology is a comprehensive discipline that absorbs the essence of modern geography and system science,and studies ecological processes,spatial structure,pattern evolution and ecological and environmental effects of landscape units.The development course of landscape ecology in China is briefly introduced.By sorting out and summarizing the current situation and characteristics of landscape ecology research in China,the paper points out the existing problems and deficiencies of landscape ecology research in China,and looks forward to the key direction and development trend of future landscape ecology research in China.

Cao Xiaoshu is a professor of the School of Geography and Planning as well as the deputy director of the Center for Urban and Regional Studies of Sun Yat-Sen University. He is also the deputy head and secretary-general of the Urbanization Working Group of the Chinese National Committee for the International Human Dimensions Programme on the Global Environmental Change (CNC-IHDP), the member of the Professional Committee for Historical Geography of the Geographical Society of China (GSC), and the member of the Academic Committee of China Land Science Society (CLSS). Prof. Cao also serves as the editorial board member of various influential publications such as Scientia Geographica Sinica , Historical Geography, Human Geography, Economic Geography, Tropical Geography , Areal Research and Development, and Land Economics.

Landscape Ecology:Coupling of Pattern,Process,and Scale

Landscape ecology provides new theoretical frameworks and methodologies for understanding complex ecological phenomena at multiple scales.Studies of landscape ecology focus on understanding the dynamics of eco-logical patterns and processes,and highlight the integration of multiple disciplines.In this paper,we discussed the problems and challenges that landscape ecology is currently facing,emphasizing the limitations of current methods used to describe dynamic landscape patterns and processes.We suggested that the focus should be on the integration of ground-based observation,mobile monitoring,transect survey,and remote-sensing monitoring,as well as improved coupling of experimental and model simulations.In addition,we outlined the research frontiers in landscape ecology,including scaling,integrated pattern and process modeling,and regional synthesis.Lastly,a brief review of pat-tern-process-scale coupling studies in China was provided.We concluded by pointing out that pattern-process-scale interactions,correlations between natural,economic,and social processes,and the coupling of human and natural systems will be major research areas in landscape ecology in the future.

Tropical and Subtropical Urban Landscape Plant Cultivation in Southwest China—A Case Study of Honghe Hani and Yi Nationality Autonomous Prefecture

By studying current seedling production in Honghe Hani and Yi Nationality Autonomous Prefecture, tropical and subtropical urban landscape plant production in southwest China was analyzed. Local nurseries total 6.40 km 2 , accounting for 5.1% of total constructed land area in the prefecture, and only 0.02% of the total land area in the prefecture. Application of local plant species in landscape engineering and green coverage ratio lags far behind the indexes of Chinese livable city and indexes of relieving urban heat island effect. By making proper policies and measures, seedling production can be promoted, rare and endanged wild plant species should be fully used to construct garden city, control PM2.5 and protect the living environment.

Comprehensive Landscape Planning of Express Railway: A Case Study of Shanghai-Nanjing Section of Beijing–Shanghai Express Railway

Comprehensive landscape planning of express railway is a signifi cant part of railway planning, and landscape contributes greatly to the integration of railway into neighboring environment. This paper focused on the scientific comprehensive landscape planning of express railway, applied "layer, group and cluster" analysis, concluded the landscape features of different hierarchical systems of "layer—group—cluster" by analyzing landscapes along the Shanghai–Nanjing Section of Beijing–Shanghai Express Railway, proposed the landscape design principles for this section, in order to promote the integration of express railway construction with city and regional development, and provide a new concept and technique for the future railway landscape design.

Analysis on Landscape Ecological Design in Landscape Architecture

With the continuous improvement of China’s economic level, the people’s cultural literacy is gradually increasing, and the same people are increasingly pursuing new changes and changes in the quality of life. New roles of research data infrastructure in research paradigm evolution

Research data infrastructures form the cornerstone in both cyber and physical spaces,driving the progression of the data-intensive scientific research paradigm.This opinion paper presents an overview of global research data infrastructure,drawing insights from national roadmaps and strategic documents related to research data infrastructure.It emphasizes the pivotal role of research data infrastructures by delineating four new missions aimed at positioning them at the core of the current scientific research and communication ecosystem.The four new missions of research data infrastructures are:(1)as a pioneer,to transcend the disciplinary border and address complex,cutting-edge scientific and social challenges with problem-and data-oriented insights;(2)as an architect,to establish a digital,intelligent,flexible research and knowledge services environment;(3)as a platform,to foster the high-end academic communication;(4)as a coordinator,to balance scientific openness with ethics needs.

基于CiteSpace可视化分析的中国乡村景观格局研究热点及趋势

合理的景观布局是乡村振兴战略实施的重要组成部分,乡村景观格局随着乡村振兴战略的稳步推进而逐渐受到广泛关注。在此背景下,研究国内乡村景观格局,对保持乡村生态环境、保护乡村地域文化意义重大。运用Cite Space软件,以2004–2024年中国知网(CNKI)关于乡村景观格局的中文期刊文献作为核心数据库,对该领域的作者、机构、研究热点与趋势进行可视化分析,总结其研究进展。结果表明:以乡村景观格局为主题的研究可分为平稳上升、曲折发展和缓慢下降三个阶段;该领域相关研究学者已组成部分研究团队,但联系不密切;研究乡村景观格局的机构主要为高校,研究机构类型较为单一化;研究热点主要聚焦在景观格局、乡村景观、乡村聚落和乡村振兴等方面;研究趋势逐渐集中于生态环境保护与可持续发展、文化传承与乡村旅游、现代化建设与科技应用等前沿方向。乡村景观格局受到各学科领域关注,但在未来应加强各研究机构、研究学者的交流与合作以及学科之间的融合,以创新方法推动乡村景观格局的研究,为乡村发展提供更为科学的指导依据。

Participatory Action Research for Catalyzing Adaptive Management： Analysis of a ＂Fits and Starts＂ Process

This paper argues that contextual constraints can significantly interfere with the conduct of research and development, and accordingly should be analyzed more honestly. It describes a five country research project, Landscape Mosaics, in which participatory action research （PAR） was intended as one of two central approaches in the original research design （the other approach being more conventional research）. The five sites, in Cameroon, Indonesia, Laos, Madagascar, and Tanzania, are described, with an emphasis on their implementation of PAR. The fact that personnel and partners on three of the five sites failed to implement PAR is analyzed, to determine the constraints to such action. These findings are then compared with our experience with two other similar projects in which PAR was more widely implemented. We conclude by identifying the most important constraints to be overcome in implementing a PAR process, something we consider important in efforts to deal with change processes in developing countries.

The Present Situation and Development Research of Recreation Ecology

With the continuous development of society,the problem of the tourism also appears more outstanding.The article analyzed the relationship between ecotourism and recreation ecology on the basis of the understanding and researching,and put recreation ecology forward a deeper level of request.How to develop the tourism,including ecotourism,is the problem to be solved.Five research methods about recreation ecology were introduced,namely the field survey method,the positioning method,the ecological simulation method,the modern information technology method and the tourism evaluation and planning method,from the point of view of research methods to elaborate the present situation of recreation ecology at home and abroad.The relationship of recreation ecology and landscape ecology,landscape architecture,biological statistics and the potential were discussed at the end of the article.

中国古典园林植物材料的周期性营造技艺与维护管理

借助现有园林图像和文本,对中国古典园林植物材料营造技艺与维护管理进行深入讨论,重点关注整体园林营造与维护过程中多样的时间性和具身性体验。首先,以竹材作为切入点,在分析竹子自身材料特性的基础上,总结归纳“周期性”“可生长”竹庐与柏亭的营造和维护,并进一步关注园林营造中以竹作材的竹篱与竹屏。其次,聚焦“柳枝”这一关键的园林营造材料,重点探讨了柳的形态、“去稍”修剪管理及其相关审美,并将柳的种植与管理置于区域性景观生产和基础设施营造的文脉中进行探讨。以竹材与柳枝作为研究对象,发掘其材料特质、技艺与自然审美,为中国古典园林研究提出一个从文人到非文人,从图像到物质,从文本到技艺的研究新视角。
