This paper analyzes the supervision activity, to which educators and teachers enrolled with AIGAM (Gordon Italian Association for the Musical Learning) are subject to every year and intends to verify the application of those principles expressed in the learning model of the MLT (Music Learning Theory) developed by educational psychologist E. Edwin Gordon (1989, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2007) and promoted internationally by various institutions and organizations specifically accredited. It describes the influence of the videotaped supervision on the process, functions of monitoring, and evaluation of educational practices, starting with an empirical model that has guided the interventions in a study of supervision on training aimed at consolidating and developing professional skills in music education in early childhood. This paper sought to understand: the kind of practices, interactions, communications developing during an educational actions, the existence of a consistent relationship between the principles expressed in the MLT and their application, the type and benefits of supervision performed by of video recording on stakeholders in terms of change in professional behavior, and finally whether the active supervision could be comparable with other kinds of approaches. 展开更多

Based on a new theoretical perspective, this paper attempts to unify the seemingly incompatible learning theories of Connectivism and Constructivism into a scientific theoretical framework. The Connectivism-Constructivism learning theory is not a simple superposition of the two theories. Instead, it absorbs the essence of the learning theory of Constructivism, Connectivism and Neo-Constructivism, and takes the two empirical scientific experimental results of developmental cognitive neuroscience and spiking neural network as the factual basis, and develops two theories from the perspective of development. Integration, to achieve the resolution of contradictions, complement each other, and then rebuild. This paper discusses Con<span "="">nectivism-Constructivism learning theory. The theory holds that the essence of knowledge is the connecti<span style="letter-spacing:-0.05pt;">on between the subject and the environment. There are two form</span>s: physical form and logical form. </span><span "="">The </span><span "="">only logical form can be realized and utilized by people. Learning can be divided into two stages: connection and construction. Connection is the premise, construction is the core, and the network action generated in the connection stage as a raw material is pruned, and processed by various systems in the construction stage to become psychological representation. When the psychological representation is used, the relevant network shaping is finished, and the meaningful network is formed, which completes the change of knowledge from physical form to logical form and from logical form to physical form. Therefore, learning is the process of constructing meaningful network. We should not only promote the students’ connection stage, but also help the students’ construction stage. The innovation and breakthrough contribution of this paper is that it is the first time to look at the topic of learning theory from a new research perspective. In order t<span style="letter-spacing:-0.05pt;">o explore a more convincing learning theoretical framework, this artic</span>le takes the lead in seeking theoretical support and factual basis from developmental cognitive neuroscience and Spiking neural network. Based on the concept of learning stickiness,this study constructed a model of influencing factors among the elements of online learning content,interaction,incentive,satisfaction,and learning stickiness from Comprehensive Learning Theory.Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the interaction and influence effects among the factors.It is found that the content,interaction,and incentive in Comprehensive Learning Theory had a significant positive impact on learning stickiness from the total effect analysis.From the direct effect analysis,the influence of content and interaction on learning stickiness was not substantial,but the influence of incentive and satisfaction on learning stickiness was significant.From the perspective of mediation effect analysis,incentive and satisfaction were critical mediating variables for the influence of content and interaction on learning stickiness.This study put forward suggestions and strategies for online teaching,providing a reference for teachers to carry out online education. 展开更多

In the realm of large-scale machine learning,it is crucial to explore methods for reducing computational complexity and memory demands while maintaining generalization performance.Additionally,since the collected data may contain some sensitive information,it is also of great significance to study privacy-preserving machine learning algorithms.This paper focuses on the performance of the differentially private stochastic gradient descent(SGD)algorithm based on random features.To begin,the algorithm maps the original data into a lowdimensional space,thereby avoiding the traditional kernel method for large-scale data storage requirement.Subsequently,the algorithm iteratively optimizes parameters using the stochastic gradient descent approach.Lastly,the output perturbation mechanism is employed to introduce random noise,ensuring algorithmic privacy.We prove that the proposed algorithm satisfies the differential privacy while achieving fast convergence rates under some mild conditions. 展开更多

In order to improve the generalization ability of binary decision trees, a new learning algorithm, the MMDT algorithm, is presented. Based on statistical learning theory the generalization performance of binary decision trees is analyzed, and the assessment rule is proposed. Under the direction of the assessment rule, the MMDT algorithm is implemented. The algorithm maps training examples from an original space to a high dimension feature space, and constructs a decision tree in it. In the feature space, a new decision node splitting criterion, the max-min rule, is used, and the margin of each decision node is maximized using a support vector machine, to improve the generalization performance. Experimental results show that the new learning algorithm is much superior to others such as C4. 5 and OCI. 展开更多

All of them are informed by Foucault, Pecheux, Bakhtin, Gardner, Levy, and others. The theoretical contribution is justified to the extent that the student is above all a being inserted into a user company tool created by it over time, to act on the world. Theoretical principles underlying the construction of learning objects as tools for teaching are related to teaching and learning. The developed learning object establishes the link between the fields of pedagogy and usability, the step by step construction of each of them and their purposes, characteristics, and all detailed in the development of research. The current paper aims to reconstruct the history of the early years of maze learning, starting from the original interests of the experimenters in brain physiology or in mental evolution, and to examine how the experiments they designed continued to be important in the general theory of learning throughout the 20th century: maze studies helped uncover general principles about learning that can be applied to many species, including humans. This study investigates the impact of Teacher Professional Development(TPD)on teaching quality and student learning outcomes.Utilizing a mixed-methods approach,the research draws on quantitative data from standardized test scores and qualitative insights from teacher interviews and classroom observations.The findings indicate a strong positive correlation between TPD,as measured by self-assessment and peer evaluation,and improvements in teaching practices.These enhancements in teaching quality are further shown to have a significant impact on student learning outcomes,including academic achievement,critical thinking,and engagement.The study also presents case studies that highlight the transformative potential of TPD in various educational contexts.Limitations include the generalizability of the sample and the correlational nature of the study design.The research concludes with policy implications,emphasizing the need for increased investment in TPD,customization of TPD programs,and the promotion of a collaborative culture within schools.Future research directions are suggested to further explore the long-term effects of TPD and the most effective models for professional development. 展开更多

Deficiencies of applying the traditional least squares support vector machine (LS-SVM) to time series online prediction were specified. According to the kernel function matrix's property and using the recursive calculation of block matrix, a new time series online prediction algorithm based on improved LS-SVM was proposed. The historical training results were fully utilized and the computing speed of LS-SVM was enhanced. Then, the improved algorithm was applied to timc series online prediction. Based on the operational data provided by the Northwest Power Grid of China, the method was used in the transient stability prediction of electric power system. The results show that, compared with the calculation time of the traditional LS-SVM(75 1 600 ms), that of the proposed method in different time windows is 40-60 ms, proposed method is above 0.8. So the improved method is online prediction. and the prediction accuracy(normalized root mean squared error) of the better than the traditional LS-SVM and more suitable for time series online prediction. 展开更多

A specific process to establish an SVM prediction model is given. To improve the precision of coal reserve estimation, a support vector machine method, based on statistical learning theory, is put forward. The SVM model was trained and tested by using the existing exploration and exploitation data of Chencun mine of Yima bureau’s as the input data. Then coal reserves within a particular region were calculated. These calculated results and the actual results of the exploration block were compared. The maximum relative error was 10.85%, within the scope of acceptable error limits. The results show that the SVM coal reserve calculation method is reliable.
