High purity silica bricks have stable physical properties,except for the RUL (0.2 MPa) exhibiting extreme two different levels of high-level RUL T0.6 of 1 683-1 686 ℃ and low-level RUL T0.6 of1 174-1 184 ℃.The low RUL phenomenon was researched,the formation reasons and solutions were analyzed in this paper.The low-level RUL T0.6 of 1 174-1 184 ℃ of the un-burnt high purity silica bricks is a pseudo RUL T0.6 phenomenon for the transformation of crystalline morphology.The real RUL T0.6 of the specimen hot treated at 1 093 ℃ is > 1 680 ℃.Therefore,the un-burnt high purity silica bricks shall be hot treated at about 1 100 ℃ firstly before testing RUL.For the heating up of the lining of glass tank arch,baking curves with long holding time at 1 100 ℃ shall be strictly obeyed to avoid the obvious shrinkage negatively influencing the lining stability. 展开更多

High thermal conductivity dense silica bricks have the higher thermal conductivity than ordinary silica bricks,which is conducive to the realization of energy saving and emission reduction in the iron and steel industry.The performance of ordinary silica bricks and high thermal conductivity dense silica bricks was compared,and the high thermal conductivity mechanism was analyzed.The results show that(1)compared with ordinary silica bricks,high thermal conductivity dense silica bricks have the characteristics of higher thermal conductivity,lower apparent porosity,higher tridymite content,higher compressive strength,and higher thermal expansion;(2)by increasing the tridymite content and reducing the porosity,the close packing of honeycombα-tridymite improves the density and continuity of the SiO_(2)frame structure of the silica bricks,and the larger area perpendicular to the heat transfer direction improves the thermal conductivity of the bricks;(3)the densification of the silica bricks also increases the thermal expansion of the bricks,but they still meet the standard requirements. 展开更多

In order to clarify the effect of spherical light-weight aggregates addition on properties of A12 07 - Si02 system castables, adopting ATO mullite traditional light-weight aggregates and ATO mullite spherical light-weight aggre- gates, bauxite homogenization powder, microsilica , cal- cium aluminate cement as main raw materials, light- weight Al2 03 - SiO2 system castables were prepared by replacing conventional light-weight aggregate with spherical light-weight aggregates. The effects of spheri- cal light-weight aggregates addition on workability, me- chanical properties of castables after heated at different temperatures were researched; the microstructure of the aggregates was analyzed by SEM. The result shows that the introduction of spherical light-weight aggregates can significantly improve the flowability and reduce the water addition of the castables. Water demand of the castable is reduced from 18% with the conventional light-weight aggregates to 14% with spherical light-weight aggre- gates. In addition, light-weight castables prepared by spherical aggregates can keep the same workability with- in a wider range of water addition. Therefore, spherical aggregates are user-friendly. The introduction of spheri- cal light-weight aggregates is favorable to packing densi- ty and mechanical properties of castables, such as cold crushing strength, cold modulus of rupture, hot modulus of rupture at 1 200℃. 展开更多

为了解焦炉炭化室硅砖在使用中的损毁机制,对使用了40多年的JN43型侧喷式焦炉炭化室的硅砖进行取样分析,对样品的外观、理化性能、物相组成、显微结构等进行了分析研究。分析发现:1)用后的焦炉炭化室上、中、下3个不同部位的硅砖从炭化... 为了解焦炉炭化室硅砖在使用中的损毁机制,对使用了40多年的JN43型侧喷式焦炉炭化室的硅砖进行取样分析,对样品的外观、理化性能、物相组成、显微结构等进行了分析研究。分析发现:1)用后的焦炉炭化室上、中、下3个不同部位的硅砖从炭化室到燃烧室方向,都形成了颜色、质地显著不同的层带;2)煤中的焦油组分对炉墙砖产生了很强的渗透作用,而煤中氧化物组分对炉墙砖的渗透轻微;3)炉墙在高温作用下发生烧结,体积总体呈收缩趋势;4)炉墙燃烧室侧约1/3炉墙厚度内的砖中方石英和石英相消失,鳞石英晶粒显著长大,较多开口气孔变成了闭气孔,线膨胀率降低;5)炉墙靠炭化室侧约1/2炉墙内石英和方石英部分鳞石英化,造成该区域线膨胀率降低。 展开更多

为了缓解酚醛树脂碳化引起的Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C砖组织结构劣化,提升Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C砖的力学性能和抗渣性能,以粒度分别为5~3、3~1和≤1 mm的高铝矾土为骨料,以电熔白刚玉(≤0.045 mm)、SiC(≤0.075 mm)、α-Al_(2)O_(3)微粉和鳞片石... 为了缓解酚醛树脂碳化引起的Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C砖组织结构劣化,提升Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C砖的力学性能和抗渣性能,以粒度分别为5~3、3~1和≤1 mm的高铝矾土为骨料,以电熔白刚玉(≤0.045 mm)、SiC(≤0.075 mm)、α-Al_(2)O_(3)微粉和鳞片石墨(≤0.15 mm)等为基质,以热固性酚醛树脂和硅溶胶为结合剂,制备了硅溶胶-酚醛树脂共结合Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C砖。在酚醛树脂外加量为4.5%(w)的基础上,探究了硅溶胶的加入量(外加质量分数分别为0、0.45%、0.90%和1.35%)对Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C砖常温力学性能、高温力学性能和抗渣性能的影响。结果表明:引入适量硅溶胶可以有效提升Al_(2)O_(3)-SiC-C砖的力学性能及抗渣性能,当硅溶胶加入量为0.45%(w)时,试样具有优异的常温、高温力学性能及抗渣性能。 展开更多
