The diversity of data sources resulted in seeking effective manipulation and dissemination.The challenge that arises from the increasing dimensionality has a negative effect on the computation performance,efficiency,a...The diversity of data sources resulted in seeking effective manipulation and dissemination.The challenge that arises from the increasing dimensionality has a negative effect on the computation performance,efficiency,and stability of computing.One of the most successful optimization algorithms is Particle Swarm Optimization(PSO)which has proved its effectiveness in exploring the highest influencing features in the search space based on its fast convergence and the ability to utilize a small set of parameters in the search task.This research proposes an effective enhancement of PSO that tackles the challenge of randomness search which directly enhances PSO performance.On the other hand,this research proposes a generic intelligent framework for early prediction of orders delay and eliminate orders backlogs which could be considered as an efficient potential solution for raising the supply chain performance.The proposed adapted algorithm has been applied to a supply chain dataset which minimized the features set from twenty-one features to ten significant features.To confirm the proposed algorithm results,the updated data has been examined by eight of the well-known classification algorithms which reached a minimum accuracy percentage equal to 94.3%for random forest and a maximum of 99.0 for Naïve Bayes.Moreover,the proposed algorithm adaptation has been compared with other proposed adaptations of PSO from the literature over different datasets.The proposed PSO adaptation reached a higher accuracy compared with the literature ranging from 97.8 to 99.36 which also proved the advancement of the current research.展开更多
Drone logistics is a novel method of distribution that will become prevalent.The advantageous location of the logistics hub enables quicker customer deliveries and lower fuel consumption,resulting in cost savings for ...Drone logistics is a novel method of distribution that will become prevalent.The advantageous location of the logistics hub enables quicker customer deliveries and lower fuel consumption,resulting in cost savings for the company’s transportation operations.Logistics firms must discern the ideal location for establishing a logistics hub,which is challenging due to the simplicity of existing models and the intricate delivery factors.To simulate the drone logistics environment,this study presents a new mathematical model.The model not only retains the aspects of the current models,but also considers the degree of transportation difficulty from the logistics hub to the village,the capacity of drones for transportation,and the distribution of logistics hub locations.Moreover,this paper proposes an improved particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm which is a diversity-based hybrid PSO(DHPSO)algorithm to solve this model.In DHPSO,the Gaussian random walk can enhance global search in the model space,while the bubble-net attacking strategy can speed convergence.Besides,Archimedes spiral strategy is employed to overcome the local optima trap in the model and improve the exploitation of the algorithm.DHPSO maintains a balance between exploration and exploitation while better defining the distribution of logistics hub locations Numerical experiments show that the newly proposed model always achieves better locations than the current model.Comparing DHPSO with other state-of-the-art intelligent algorithms,the efficiency of the scheme can be improved by 42.58%.This means that logistics companies can reduce distribution costs and consumers can enjoy a more enjoyable shopping experience by using DHPSO’s location selection.All the results show the location of the drone logistics hub is solved by DHPSO effectively.展开更多
Purpose-The spatiotemporal compression effect of China-Europe Railway Express(CR-Express)can reduce the filow costs of resources between China's node cities.Additionally,it can break through the limitations of low...Purpose-The spatiotemporal compression effect of China-Europe Railway Express(CR-Express)can reduce the filow costs of resources between China's node cities.Additionally,it can break through the limitations of low-added-value marine products,significantly impacting the logistics industry efficiency.However,there are few literature verifying and analyzing its heterogeneity.This study explores the impact of CR-Express on the efficiency of logistics industry in node cities and analyzes the heterogeneity.Design/methodology/approach-First,this study uses panel data to measure the efficiency of node city logistics industry.Secondiy,this study discusses the impact of the opening of CR-Express on the efficiency of logistics industry in node cities based on the multi-period differential model.Finally,according to the node city difference,the sample city experimental group is grouped for heterogeneity analysis.Findings-The results show that CR-Express can promote the urban logistics industry efficiency,with an average effect of 4.55%.According to the urban characteristics classification,the heterogeneity analysis shows that the efficiency improvement effect of logistics industry in inland cities is more obvious.The improvement effect of node cities and central cities in central and western China is stronger,especially in the sample of megacities and type I big cities.Compared with non-value chain industrial products,the CR-Express has significant promotion effects on the logistics efficiency of the cities where main goods are value chain products.Originality/value-Under the background of double cycle development,this paper can provide a scientific basis for the investment benefit evaluation of CR-Express construction and the follow-up route planning.展开更多

The intermediate link compression characteristics of e-commerce express logistics ne tworks influence the tradition al mode of circulation of goods and economic organization,and alter the city spatial pattern.Based on...The intermediate link compression characteristics of e-commerce express logistics ne tworks influence the tradition al mode of circulation of goods and economic organization,and alter the city spatial pattern.Based on the theory of space of flows,this study adopts China Smart Logistics Network relational data to build China's e-commerce express logistics network and explore its spatial structure characteristics through social network analysis(SNA),the PageRank technique,and geospatial methods.The results are as follows:the network density is 0.9270,which is close to 1;hence,indicating that e-commerce express logistics lines between Chinese cities are nearly complete and they form a typical network structure,thereby eliminating fragmented spaces.Moreover,the average minimum number of edges is 1.1375,which indicates that the network has a small world effect and thus has a high flow efficiency of logistics elements.A significant hierarchical diffusion effect was observed in dominant flows with the highest edge weights.A diamond-structured network was formed with Shanghai,Guangzhou,Chongqing,and Beijing as the four core nodes.Other node cities with a large logistics scale and importance in the network are mainly located in the 19 city agglomerations of China,revealing the fact that the development of city agglomerations is essential for promoting the separation of experience space and changing the urban spatial pattern.This study enriches the theory of urban networks,reveals the flow laws of modern logistics elements,and encourages coordinated development of urban logistics.展开更多
Cold-chain logistics system(CCLS)plays the role of collecting and managing the logistics data of frozen food.However,there always exist problems of information loss,data tampering,and privacy leakage in traditional ce...Cold-chain logistics system(CCLS)plays the role of collecting and managing the logistics data of frozen food.However,there always exist problems of information loss,data tampering,and privacy leakage in traditional centralized systems,which influence frozen food security and people’s health.The centralized management form impedes the development of the cold-chain logistics industry and weakens logistics data availability.This paper first introduces a distributed CCLS based on blockchain technology to solve the centralized management problem.This system aggregates the production base,storage,transport,detection,processing,and consumer to form a cold-chain logistics union.The blockchain ledger guarantees that the logistics data cannot be tampered with and establishes a traceability mechanism for food safety incidents.Meanwhile,to improve the value of logistics data,a Stackelberg game-based resource allocation model has been proposed between the logistics data resource provider and the consumer.The competition between resource price and volume balances the resource supplement and consumption.This model can help to achieve an optimal resource price when the Stackelberg game obtains Nash equilibrium.The two participants also can maximize their revenues with the optimal resource price and volume by utilizing the backward induction method.Then,the performance evaluations of transaction throughput and latency show that the proposed distributed CCLS is more secure and stable.The simulations about the variation trend of data price and amount,optimal benefits,and total benefits comparison of different forms show that the resource allocation model is more efficient and practical.Moreover,the blockchain-based CCLS and Stackelberg game-based resource allocation model also can promote the value of logistic data and improve social benefits.展开更多

Data security and user privacy are two main security concerns in the cold-chain logistics system(CCLS).Many security issues exist in traditional CCLS,destroying data security and user privacy.The digital signature can...Data security and user privacy are two main security concerns in the cold-chain logistics system(CCLS).Many security issues exist in traditional CCLS,destroying data security and user privacy.The digital signature can provide data verification and identity authentication based on the mathematical difficulty problem for logistics data sharing in CCLS.This paper first established a blockchain-enabled cold-chain logistics system(BCCLS)based on union blockchain technology,which can provide secure data sharing among different logistics nodes and guarantee logistics data security with the untampered blockchain ledger.Meanwhile,a lattice-based undeniable signature scheme is designed to strengthen the security of logistics data and user privacy against quantum attacks.This scheme is based on the lattice assumption,which can provide anti-quantum security for BCCLS in the future quantum computer age.It also establishes the undeniable mechanism that guarantees that the actual signer cannot deny a valid signature.Then,security proof shows that this undeniable signature scheme is correct and safe,and an efficiency comparison shows that it is more efficient than other schemes in similar literature.The performance evaluations of transaction throughput and latency show that the proposed BCCLS is efficient and practical.This work can improve the security and efficiency of logistics data management and promote the reform and development of the logistics industry.展开更多
Effectively managing complex logistics data is essential for development sustainability and growth,especially in optimizing distribution routes.This article addresses the limitations of current logistics path optimiza...Effectively managing complex logistics data is essential for development sustainability and growth,especially in optimizing distribution routes.This article addresses the limitations of current logistics path optimization methods,such as inefficiencies and high operational costs.To overcome these drawbacks,we introduce the Hybrid Firefly-Spotted Hyena Optimization(HFSHO)algorithm,a novel approach that combines the rapid exploration and global search abilities of the Firefly Algorithm(FO)with the localized search and region-exploitation skills of the Spotted Hyena Optimization Algorithm(SHO).HFSHO aims to improve logistics path optimization and reduce operational costs.The algorithm’s effectiveness is systematically assessed through rigorous comparative analyses with established algorithms like the Ant Colony Algorithm(ACO),Cuckoo Search Algorithm(CSA)and Jaya Algo-rithm(JA).The evaluation also employs benchmarking methodologies using standardized function sets covering diverse objective functions,including Schwefel’s,Rastrigin,Ackley,Sphere and the ZDT and DTLZ Function suite.HFSHO outperforms these algorithms,achieving a minimum path distance of 546 units,highlighting its prowess in logistics path optimization.This comprehensive evaluation authenticates HFSHO’s exceptional performance across various logistic optimization scenarios.These findings emphasize the critical significance of selecting an appropriate algorithm for logistics path navigation,with HFSHO emerging as an efficient choice.Through the synergistic use of FO and SHO,HFSHO achieves a 15%improvement in convergence,heightened operational efficiency and substantial cost reductions in logistics operations.It presents a promising solution for optimizing logistics paths,offering logistics planners and decision-makers valuable insights and contributing substantively to sustainable sectoral growth.展开更多

The pellet...In this work we analyze the supply of biomass from field to an in-land or port destination. The biomass is pelletized to increase its bulk density to extend its storage period and for ease of its transport. The pellet may be used for conversion to chemicals and animal bedding or for straight combustion. We analyzed supply chain in Saskatchewan where there are plenty of crop residues but widely dispersed and harvest seasons are short. We envisioned that the farmer collects bales from field and transports the bales to farmstead during the harvest season. The bales are then processed into pellets using small scale pellet equipment. A custom operator with expertise in pelletization may engage in handling and densifying the biomass. The business case for the mobile mill will be similar to the well established custom grain and forage harvesting operations. The pellets are stored in hopper bottom grain bins at the farmstead. From this point, the handling of pellets would be similar to the handling and marketing of grain. The farmer trucks a specified volume of pellets from farmstead to the nearest elevator where the pellets are transferred to larger bins or silos. Pellets are extracted from silos and loaded onto the rail cars. The Canadian freight rail companies (mainly CN) currently transport over 3 million dry tonne (dt) of wood pellets in rail cars. The pellets are hauled to marine ports on the West Coast or East Coast for export. The cost of delivering ag pellets to biorefinery or to the shipping port is $86.09/dt. This cost does not include the equivalent value of removing biomass from the farm (e.g. fertilizer replacement) and return on investment. The GHG emissions to produce and transport ag pellets add up to 185.9 kg of CO<sub>2</sub> per dt of biomass. The cost of producing pellets without drying feedstock is $35.05/dt and the corresponding GHG for palletization amounts $146.30/dt.展开更多

文摘Cold-chain logistics system(CCLS)plays the role of collecting and managing the logistics data of frozen food.However,there always exist problems of information loss,data tampering,and privacy leakage in traditional centralized systems,which influence frozen food security and people’s health.The centralized management form impedes the development of the cold-chain logistics industry and weakens logistics data availability.This paper first introduces a distributed CCLS based on blockchain technology to solve the centralized management problem.This system aggregates the production base,storage,transport,detection,processing,and consumer to form a cold-chain logistics union.The blockchain ledger guarantees that the logistics data cannot be tampered with and establishes a traceability mechanism for food safety incidents.Meanwhile,to improve the value of logistics data,a Stackelberg game-based resource allocation model has been proposed between the logistics data resource provider and the consumer.The competition between resource price and volume balances the resource supplement and consumption.This model can help to achieve an optimal resource price when the Stackelberg game obtains Nash equilibrium.The two participants also can maximize their revenues with the optimal resource price and volume by utilizing the backward induction method.Then,the performance evaluations of transaction throughput and latency show that the proposed distributed CCLS is more secure and stable.The simulations about the variation trend of data price and amount,optimal benefits,and total benefits comparison of different forms show that the resource allocation model is more efficient and practical.Moreover,the blockchain-based CCLS and Stackelberg game-based resource allocation model also can promote the value of logistic data and improve social benefits.

文摘With the growth of the online market,demand for logistics and courier cargo is increasing rapidly.Accordingly,in the case of urban areas,road congestion and environmental problems due to cargo vehicles are mainly occurring.The joint courier logistics system,a plan to solve this problem,aims to establish an efficient logistics transportation system by utilizing one joint logistics delivery terminal by several logistics and delivery companies.However,several courier companies use different types of courier invoices.Such a system has a problem of information data transmission interruption.Therefore,the data processing process was systematically analyzed,a practically feasible methodology was devised,and delivery invoice information processing standards were established for this.In addition,the importance of this paper can be emphasized in terms of data processing in the logistics sector,which is expected to grow rapidly in the future.The results of this study can be used as basic data for the implementation of the logistics joint delivery terminal system in the future.And it can be used as a basis for securing the operational reliability of the joint courier logistics system.

文摘Data security and user privacy are two main security concerns in the cold-chain logistics system(CCLS).Many security issues exist in traditional CCLS,destroying data security and user privacy.The digital signature can provide data verification and identity authentication based on the mathematical difficulty problem for logistics data sharing in CCLS.This paper first established a blockchain-enabled cold-chain logistics system(BCCLS)based on union blockchain technology,which can provide secure data sharing among different logistics nodes and guarantee logistics data security with the untampered blockchain ledger.Meanwhile,a lattice-based undeniable signature scheme is designed to strengthen the security of logistics data and user privacy against quantum attacks.This scheme is based on the lattice assumption,which can provide anti-quantum security for BCCLS in the future quantum computer age.It also establishes the undeniable mechanism that guarantees that the actual signer cannot deny a valid signature.Then,security proof shows that this undeniable signature scheme is correct and safe,and an efficiency comparison shows that it is more efficient than other schemes in similar literature.The performance evaluations of transaction throughput and latency show that the proposed BCCLS is efficient and practical.This work can improve the security and efficiency of logistics data management and promote the reform and development of the logistics industry.

文摘Effectively managing complex logistics data is essential for development sustainability and growth,especially in optimizing distribution routes.This article addresses the limitations of current logistics path optimization methods,such as inefficiencies and high operational costs.To overcome these drawbacks,we introduce the Hybrid Firefly-Spotted Hyena Optimization(HFSHO)algorithm,a novel approach that combines the rapid exploration and global search abilities of the Firefly Algorithm(FO)with the localized search and region-exploitation skills of the Spotted Hyena Optimization Algorithm(SHO).HFSHO aims to improve logistics path optimization and reduce operational costs.The algorithm’s effectiveness is systematically assessed through rigorous comparative analyses with established algorithms like the Ant Colony Algorithm(ACO),Cuckoo Search Algorithm(CSA)and Jaya Algo-rithm(JA).The evaluation also employs benchmarking methodologies using standardized function sets covering diverse objective functions,including Schwefel’s,Rastrigin,Ackley,Sphere and the ZDT and DTLZ Function suite.HFSHO outperforms these algorithms,achieving a minimum path distance of 546 units,highlighting its prowess in logistics path optimization.This comprehensive evaluation authenticates HFSHO’s exceptional performance across various logistic optimization scenarios.These findings emphasize the critical significance of selecting an appropriate algorithm for logistics path navigation,with HFSHO emerging as an efficient choice.Through the synergistic use of FO and SHO,HFSHO achieves a 15%improvement in convergence,heightened operational efficiency and substantial cost reductions in logistics operations.It presents a promising solution for optimizing logistics paths,offering logistics planners and decision-makers valuable insights and contributing substantively to sustainable sectoral growth.
文摘The logistics transportation and distribution of fruits and vegetables has become one of the important links for people to obtain food,and it is also an important direction and emerging challenge in the logistics industry.As the social economy and transportation develop,the consumption ability of residents has been improved,and the high demand for fruits and vegetables has promoted the transportation of fruits and vegetables to meet the development conditions of the future fruit and vegetable industry.The study of fruit and vegetable logistics distribution can improve the efficiency of fruit and vegetable distribution,improve the construction of fruit and vegetable distribution system,and also meet the needs of people for different kinds of fruits and vegetables.Taking Guangxi fruit and vegetable distribution as an example,through empirical investigation,this paper studies the existing problems in the development of logistics distribution in the fruit and vegetable distribution industry,and puts forward corresponding measures and countermeasures according to the problems,so as to innovate the fruit and vegetable distribution mode in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
文摘In this work we analyze the supply of biomass from field to an in-land or port destination. The biomass is pelletized to increase its bulk density to extend its storage period and for ease of its transport. The pellet may be used for conversion to chemicals and animal bedding or for straight combustion. We analyzed supply chain in Saskatchewan where there are plenty of crop residues but widely dispersed and harvest seasons are short. We envisioned that the farmer collects bales from field and transports the bales to farmstead during the harvest season. The bales are then processed into pellets using small scale pellet equipment. A custom operator with expertise in pelletization may engage in handling and densifying the biomass. The business case for the mobile mill will be similar to the well established custom grain and forage harvesting operations. The pellets are stored in hopper bottom grain bins at the farmstead. From this point, the handling of pellets would be similar to the handling and marketing of grain. The farmer trucks a specified volume of pellets from farmstead to the nearest elevator where the pellets are transferred to larger bins or silos. Pellets are extracted from silos and loaded onto the rail cars. The Canadian freight rail companies (mainly CN) currently transport over 3 million dry tonne (dt) of wood pellets in rail cars. The pellets are hauled to marine ports on the West Coast or East Coast for export. The cost of delivering ag pellets to biorefinery or to the shipping port is $86.09/dt. This cost does not include the equivalent value of removing biomass from the farm (e.g. fertilizer replacement) and return on investment. The GHG emissions to produce and transport ag pellets add up to 185.9 kg of CO<sub>2</sub> per dt of biomass. The cost of producing pellets without drying feedstock is $35.05/dt and the corresponding GHG for palletization amounts $146.30/dt.
