Clinical review and literature analysis of hepatic epithelioid angiomyolipoma in alcoholic cirrhosis: A case report

BACKGROUND Hepatic epithelioid angiomyolipoma(HEA)has a low incidence and both clinical manifestations and imaging lack specificity.Thus,it is easy to misdiagnose HEA as other tumors of the liver,especially in the presence of liver diseases such as hepatitis cirrhosis.This article reviewed the diagnosis and treatment of a patient with HEA and alcoholic cirrhosis,and analyzed the literature,in order to improve the understanding of this disease.CASE SUMMARY A 67-year-old male patient with a history of alcoholic cirrhosis was admitted due to the discovery of a space-occupying lesion in the liver.Based on the patient’s history,laboratory examinations,and imaging examinations,a malignant liver tumor was considered and laparoscopic partial hepatectomy was performed.Postoperative pathology showed HEA.During outpatient follow-up,the patient showed no sign of recurrence.CONCLUSION HEA is difficult to make a definite diagnosis before surgery.HEA has the poten-tial for malignant degeneration.If conditions permit,surgical treatment is recom-mended.

Cause Analysis on the Missing Report of First Thunderstorm Weather in Shenyang City in 2010

The first thunderstorm weather appeared in southern Shenyang on May 2,2010 and did not bring about severe lightning disaster for Shenyang region,but forecast service had poor effect without forecasting thunderstorm weather accurately.In our paper,the reasons for missing report of this thunderstorm weather were analyzed,and analysis on thunderstorm potential was carried out by means of mesoscale analysis technique,providing technical index and vantage point for the prediction of thunderstorm potential.The results showed that the reasons for missing report of this weather process were as follows:surface temperature at prophase was constantly lower going against the development of convective weather;the interpreting and analyzing ability of numerical forecast product should be improved;the forecast result of T639 model was better than that of Japanese numerical forecast;the study and application of mesoscale analysis technique should be strengthened,and this service was formally developed after thunderstorm weather on June 1,2010.

Epidemiological Analysis on Reported Hepatitis C Cases in China from 2012 to 2016

Viral hepatitis is an important challenge to public health worldwide.As hepatitis B is well controlled due to vaccination,the disease burden caused by the spread of hepatitis C has become increasingly prominent.Hepatitis C is an infectious disease that is mainly blood-borne.The rate of chronicity ranges from 55% to 85% after people are infected with the hepatitis C virus （HCV）.

An Empirical Application of User-Guided Program Analysis

Although static program analysis methods are frequently employed to enhance software quality,their efficiency in commercial settings is limited by their high false positive rate.The EUGENE tool can effectively lower the false positive rate.However,in continuous integration(CI)environments,the code is always changing,and user feedback from one version of the software cannot be applied to a subsequent version.Additionally,people find it difficult to distinguish between true positives and false positives in the analytical output.In this study,we developed the EUGENE-CI technique to address the CI problem and the EUGENE-rank lightweight heuristic algorithm to rate the reports of the analysis output in accordance with the likelihood that they are true positives.On the three projects ethereum,go-cloud,and kubernetes,we assessed our methodologies.According to the trial findings,EUGENE-CI may drastically reduce false positives while EUGENE-rank can make it much easier for users to identify the real positives among a vast number of reports.We paired our techniques with GoInsight~1 and discovered a vulnerability.We also offered a patch to the community.

Sustainable strategy for corporate governance based on the sentiment analysis of financial reports with CSR

Focusing only on shareholders’financial return is not consistent with the concept of sustainable corporate governance.In contrast to financial performance,corporate social responsibility(CSR)is a non-financial performance index.Financial reports consist of both financial and non-financial disclosures.These disclosures help investors make decisions.This paper characterizes the interaction between the sentiment analysis of financial reports and CSR scores.The classification accuracy through SVM exceeds 86%.The empirical study shows that the financial report sentiment based on the PESTEL model,Porter’s Five Forces model,and Value Chain(Primary and Support Activities)significantly correlates to the CSR score.

Media: A Double-Edged Sword in the Disease Control. Content Analysis of News Report on SARS Event in Taiwan

Objective: This study was conducted to explore what media exactly do when disease is emerging and furthermore, to infer the role and the responsibility that media should play. Method: A content analysis with 0.81 inter-rater reliability was adopted to categorize SARS-related events shown on the three major newspapers in 117 days, dated from March 13th (the date before the first probable case of SARS in Taiwan was identified) to July 7th (the date after Taiwan was removed from the list of SARS-affected countries by the bulletin of World Health Organization), 2003. Results: There were totally 8923 SARS events related news found in the observed newspapers during the study period. When the epidemic situation is more serious, the media will also lay out more coverage on reporting the related contents. In the reporting contents, the three most influential newspapers in Taiwan mainly emphasized the impact dimension (34.27%). Only 2.16% of the coverage was on the topic of health communication and prevention education. Overall, the opinions of general public are the primary sources of news (46.57%). Health authority was not the main and typical sources information of the press (9.42%). Conclusion: Media is a double-edged sword in the communicable disease control. We suggest that the health authority should take advantage of media to transmit message rapidly to convey related information to public.

Intentionality which reflects the writer's attitudes in his writing process is a very important standard for critical discourse analysis.It determines the language strategy of a text as well as its forms , textually or non-textually.And it influences the effect of the discourse communication.News reports usually have a strong intentionality.Analyzing the language of a certain piece of news report may reveal its intentionality.

Focal nodular hyperplasia with concomitant hepatocellular carcinoma: a case report and clonal analysis

This report describes a hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) with concomitant focal nodular hyperplasia (FNH) in a 56 years old Chinese man. There were two well circumscribed tumours measuring 3×2.5×2 cm and 2×1.5×1.5 cm. The larger mass was grey and soft with a small area of bleeding and necrosis and an intact capsule. The smaller mass was yellow and had no capsule. Clonal analysis was carried out to clarify the relation between the HCC and the adjacent FNH. The clonal analysis was based on the methylation pattern of the polymorphic X chromosome linked androgen receptor gene (HUMARA). In FNH, after Hpa Ⅱ digestion, the allelic bands showed two well defined peaks. The intensity of the two peaks in the DNA from cirrhotic tissue did not differ significantly, consistent with a random pattern of X chromosome inactivation. However, in HCC, after Hpa Ⅱ digestion, the allelic bands differed significantly in intensity. Therefore, there was a typical polyclonal pattern of inactivation in FNH but the HCC was interpreted as being monoclonal.

M acrolinguistic Complex Systems in Zimbabwean Political News Reports： A System ic Analysis

This study investigated the ideological use of linguistics features in online news articles published by The Zimbab^we Herald Onl~^^e newspaper and The Z^^bab^ea^Independent Online newspaper. The data was gathered during the period between 2008 and 2016 where there was media hype regarding the Zimbabwean political and economic instability. During this period in question Zimbabwe has had a constant phase of bad political and economic instability. Therefore, this publication is very crucial as it comes at a moment when Zimbabwe is undergoing its worst political and economic phase in years.Even though Zimbabwe's political situation seems to be unstable, the current government is adamant that the situation will get better before its its next presidential election in 2018. In 2009 the two political parties Zanu- PF and MDC forged a Unity Government, the end of the unity- government triggered power struggles within both Zanu- PF and MDC, which made Zimbabwean politics even more complicated. Consequently, the current study made use of thirty editorial articles ranging between 900 tokens to 1200 tokens. All the files gathered were transferred into text files so that they could be easily transferable into Antconc 3.2.1, which is a concordance software programme used in corpus linguistics to analyze written corpora. The lexical features that were identified in the study were analyzed through the use of Fairclough5s (1989) Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) whilst grammatical features such as plurality, person and tense were analyzed through the use of Halliday5s (1985) Systemic Functional Grammar. The findings from this study revealed that journalists of the articles from The Zimbabwe Herald Online newspaper made use of linguistic and grammatical features that were meant to maintain Zanu- PF ideologies whilst corpus from The Zimbabwean Independent Online newspaper revealed the use of linguistic features that favoured the ideologies of the MDC.

A Critical Discourse Analysis of English News Reports

Critical discourse analysis(CDA) can help people better understand the subjective view and the hidden ideology in a news discourse. Based on M.A.K. Halliday's theory of transitivity and classification, this essay analyzes 3 reports from The New York Times and finds that despite how news reports may seem objective, every report contains the author's own opinion he/she tries to convince the readers. Special attention needs to be paid when we come across news discourse and we shouldn't let the hidden ideology in the reports manipulate our own viewpoint toward this world.

A Contrastive Analysis of Same-Topic News Reports in Chinese and American Mainstream Media

Based on ideational,interpersonal,and textual metafunctions in systemic functional linguistics(SFL),a contrastive analysis is carried out on two same-topic news reports of Chinese and American main stream media.Two reports from the People’s Daily and CNN are analyzed in terms of the lexical-grammatical systems(transitivity,mood and modality,and theme)realizing the three corresponding metafunctions to compare Chinese and American media reports on the same event.Results show that the two reports deploy different transitivity processes,but indicate similarity in the uses of mood and thematic choices.There are also respective preferences for reporting the sametopic news:CNN focuses on the whole process of the incident,the report being relatively objective and fair without obvious emotional bias,while the report of People’s Daily is relatively comprehensive,analyzing the incident from various angles,and playing a positive role in guiding public opinion.

A Critical Discourse Analysis of News Reports Concerning Huang Yan Island Dispute

To find out different discourse features of these two different news reports and different ideologies reflected in the these two news reporting,Fairclough’s three-dimensional model of critical discourse analysis is adopted as the basic theoretical framework.And a contrastive analysis of news reports concerned with Huang Yan Island dispute from Reuters and Xinhua is carried out.The data of this article is collected from the official website of Reuters and Xinhua respectively,including one news report on Huang Yan island dispute from Reuters and two news reports from Xinhua.By comparing and analyzing the news resources reporting mode,the hidden political,historical and cultural ideologies behind the news discourse can be exposed.And Fairclough’s three-dimensional model of critical discourse analysis is an useful tool for interpreting the news reports to explore the hidden ideology.
