A dedicated weak current measurement system was designed to measure the weak currents generated by the neutron ionization chamber.This system incorporates a second-order low-pass filter circuit and the Kalman filtering algorithm to effectively filter out noise and minimize interference in the measurement results.Testing conducted under normal temperature conditions has demonstrated the system's high precision performance.However,it was observed that temperature variations can affect the measurement performance.Data were collected across temperatures ranging from -20 to 70℃,and a temperature correction model was established through linear regression fitting to address this issue.The feasibility of the temperature correction model was confirmed at temperatures of -5 and 40℃,where relative errors remained below 0.1% after applying the temperature correction.The research indicates that the designed measurement system exhibits excellent temperature adaptability and high precision,making it particularly suitable for measuring weak currents. 展开更多

Glacier disasters occur frequently in alpine regions around the world,but the current conventional geological disaster measurement technology cannot be directly used for glacier disaster measurement.Hence,in this study,a distributed multi-sensor measurement system for glacier deformation was established by integrating piezoelectric sensing,coded sensing,attitude sensing technology and wireless communication technology.The traditional Modbus protocol was optimized to solve the problem of data identification confusion of different acquisition nodes.Through indoor wireless transmission,adaptive performance analysis,error measurement experiment and landslide simulation experiment,the performance of the measurement system was analyzed and evaluated.Using unmanned aerial vehicle technology,the reliability and effectiveness of the measurement system were verified on the site of Galongla glacier in southeastern Tibet,China.The results show that the mean absolute percentage errors were only 1.13%and 2.09%for the displacement and temperature,respectively.The distributed glacier deformation real-time measurement system provides a new means for the assessment of the development process of glacier disasters and disaster prevention and mitigation. 展开更多

In the traditional fringe projection profilometry system,the projector and the camera light center are both spatially virtual points.The spatial position relationships specified in the model are not easy to obtain,leading to inaccurate system parameters and affectingmeasurement accuracy.This paper proposes a method for solving the system parameters of the fringe projection profilometry system,and the spatial position of the camera and projector can be adjusted in accordance with the obtained calibration parameters.The steps are as follows:First,in accordance with the conversion relationship of the coordinate system in the calibration process,the calculation formula of the vertical distance from the camera light center to the reference plane and the calculation formula of the distance between the projector and the camera light center are given respectively.Secondly,according to the projector calibration principle,the position of the projector light axis perpendicular to the reference plane is gained by comparing the parallel relationship between the reference plane coordinate system and the projector coordinate system’s Z-axis.Then,in order to fulfill the position restriction that the line between the projector light center and the camera light center must be parallel to the reference plane,the camera’s spatial location is adjusted so that the vertical distance between it and the reference plane tends to that between the projector light center and the reference plane.And finally,the three-dimensional(3D)reconstruction of the target object can be finished using the phase height model’s system parameters once the aforementioned position limitations are put into practice.Experimental results demonstrate that the method improves the measurement accuracy,and verifies that it is effective and available in 3D shape measurement. 展开更多

In this paper,a novel launch dynamics measurement system based on the photoelectric sensor pair is built.The actual muzzle time(i.e.a time duration that originates from the initial movement to the rocket’s departure from the muzzle)and the muzzle velocity are measured.Compared with the classical methods,the actual muzzle time is obtained by eliminating the ignition delay.The comparative analysis method is proposed with numerical simulations established by the transfer matrix method for multibody systems.The experiment results indicate that the proposed measurement system can effectively measure the actual muzzle time and reduce the error of classical methods,which match well with the simulation results showing the launch dynamics model is reliable and helpful for further analysis and design of the MLRS. 展开更多

Black carbon(BC)is considered the second largest anthropogenic climate forcer,but the radiative effects of BC are highly correlated with its combustion sources.On-road vehicles are an important source of anthropogenic BC.However,there are major uncertainties in the estimates of the BC emissions from on-road light-duty passenger vehicles(LDPVs),and results obtained with the portable emissions measurement system(PEMS)method are particularly lacking.We developed a PEMS platform and evaluated the on-road BC emissions from ten in-use LDPVs.We demonstrated that the BC emission factors(EFs)of gasoline direction injection(GDI)engine vehicles range from 1.10 to 1.56 mg.km^(-1),which are higher than the EFs of port fuel injection(PFI)engine vehicles(0.10–0.17 mg.km^(-1))by a factor of 11.The BC emissions during the cold-start phase contributed 2%–33%to the total emissions.A strong correlation(R^(2)=0.70)was observed between the relative BC EFs and average vehicle speed,indicating that traffic congestion alleviation could effectively mitigate BC emissions.Moreover,BC and particle number(PN)emissions were linearly correlated(R^(2)=0.90),and compared to PFI engine vehicles,the instantaneous PN-to-BC emission rates of GDI engine vehicles were less sensitive to vehicle specific power-to-velocity(VSPV)increase in all speed ranges. 展开更多

The accuracy and repeatability of the laser interferometer measurement system (LIMS) are often limited by the mirror surface error that comes from the mirror surface shape and distortion. This paper describes a new method to calibrate mirror map on ultraprecise movement stage (UPMS) with nanopositioning and to make a real-time compensation for the mirror surface error by using mirror map data tables with the software algorithm. Based on the mirror map test model, the factors affecting mirror map are analyzed through geometric method on the UPMS with six digrees of freedom. Dam processing methods including spline interpolation and spline offsets are used to process the raw sampling data to build mirror map tables. The linear interpolation as compensation method to make a real-time correction on the stage mirror unflatness is adopted and the correction formulas are illuminated. In this way, the measurement accuracy of the system is obviously improved from 40 nm to 5 nm. 展开更多

The linear motor applied in electromagnetic emission system uses a closed loop position control strategy,which needs a set of position measurement system with high reliability,high resolution and integration to achieve real-time acquisition and analysis of position signals.The existing position controller is based on the simple logic chip design without memory function,and does not have the storage analysis and preprocessing function to position signals.Therefore,the system has insufficient scalability,low integration and reliability.Aiming at the improvement of the existing position measurement system,an intelligent position measurement system integrating the functions of position signals acquisition,processing and uploading,data storage and analysis is proposed in this paper,and its working principle and system composition are discussed in detail.The position,speed and acceleration obtained on the electromagnetic emission platform are in good agreement with the expected value of the system.As results,the feasibility and accuracy of the improved integrated intelligent position measurement system are verified,and the control performance of the system is also satisfied well,which can be good guidance and reference for subsequent engineering practice. 展开更多

A measurement system was designed to measure the railgun's parameters in launching process,which includes Rogowski coil sensor for measuring rail's current,B-dot probe for obversing projectile's velocity in bore,net target for catching muzzle velocity,signal condition circuit and high-speed data acquisition card for analyzing and storing data.Its software was also developed in WINDOWS operational environment via modularized design.The designed sensors and test software were successfully used in a practical electromagnetic railgun system to monitor the process of launching.The test results indicate that the state of launching can be intuitively observed and the parameters are accurately acquired and recorded.The software design method can shorten the development cycle,enhance the system's flexibility and provide the interface for the secondary development.The system shows great reliability.It is an effective and practical measurement platform for further research on the electromagnetic launch system. 展开更多

Currently,the liquid scintillation method is widely used to measure the activity of tritiated water in the primary circuit of nuclear power plants,which leads to the continuous production of radioactive waste during measurement.In addition,the real-time activity information of tritiated water cannot be obtained.To solve this problem,herein we present an online tritiated water measurement method based on plastic scintillators that used the optical transport process in the Geant 4 software toolkit to build a model of plastic scintillation detection for tritiated water.Through simulation,the basic geometric dimensions of the detector were determined.In this dimension,using one detector to measure for 3 h,when the tritiated water activity was 100 Bq/L,its resolution was 16%(16 Bq/L).In addition,calculations were performed for the presence of other background signals to obtain the minimum detectable concentration. 展开更多

With the free-stress sample holder, a magnetoelectric (ME) coefficient measurement system was developed based on dynamic method. This measurement system has the hardware part and the software part, integrated by the DC magnetic field generation module, the AC magnetic field generation module, the induced ME voltage detecting module and PC software module. Then, a sample of Terfenol-D/PZT/Terfenol-D trilayer was designed and fabricated, and the relationships of its ME coefficient influenced by the DC magnetic field and the frequency of the AC magnetic field were tested using the measurement system. And the results showed that the free-stress sample holder was proven to improve the accuracy of the measurement system by less stress interference. 展开更多

As a promising technology to completely transform how we architect, deploy, operate and manage various networks, software-based Network Function Virtualization(NFV) enables hardware-independent, flexible, fast and efficient network service provision. With the increasing popularity of NFV paradigm, the Internet has also transformed to be a hybrid environment where NFV-based network entities coexist with traditional network devices. To facilitate our understanding, design, evaluate and manage of such novel network environment, there is a great need for a new NFV-compatible network measurement system which is still in absent so far. To bridge this gap, a system, named Software Defined Network Measurement System(SDNMS), is presented in this paper. Firstly, the architecture of SDNMS is proposed. In this architecture, a formal method to describe the working mode of the network measurement is defined. This method can also be utilized to generate a network measurement middle box(NMMB) in a specific location of the NFV network according to the customized description file, and to flexibly deploy the network measurement function. Secondly, the technology of virtual network measurement function(VNMF) combined with LXC is studied to form NMMB function. Thirdly, a control method is presented to control the start, stop, and update NMMB to form a specific network measurement system function. Finally, a prototype of SDNMS with network monitoring function to monitor network performance anomalies and locate faults is introduced. Experimental results have shown that SDNMS architecture and related technologies are feasible and effective to deploy and control network measurement functions in NFV networks. We hope SDNMS could provide a new method for practitioners to conduct network management and research at the age of NFV. 展开更多

Compared with the laboratory acoustic measurement of sediment samples, the in-situ acoustic measurement in marine sediment is considered more accurate and rehable, because it covers all of the surrounding environment factors and avoids the disturbance during the course of sampling and transporting of sediment samples. A new multi-frequency in-situ geoacoustic measurement system (MFIS^AMS) has been developed. The system can provide acoustic vdocity (compressional wave) and attenuation profiles of the uppermost 4 - 8 m sediment in the seafloor. It consists of 8 channels with 12 frequencies (multi-frequencies) and 0.5 - 2 MHz sampling rates. The data collected can be transmiuted in real-time. Associated with inclinometer and altimeter, it can provide the data for depth emendation. Acoustic velocity and attenuation data have been obtained from two in-situ experiments conducted in the Hangzhou Bay. 展开更多

AIM:To assess the accuracy of polyp size using an endoscopic lesion measurement system(ELMS).METHODS:The accuracy of polyp size assessment was compared among measurements acquired by visual estimation,disposable graduated biopsy forceps(DGBF;used as a"scale-plate")and the ELMS.RESULTS:There were 192 polyps from 166 cases included in this study.The mean diameter of the post polypectomy measurement was 0.85±0.53 cm(range:0.2-3.0 cm).The mean diameter by visual estimation was 1.10±0.53 cm,which was significantly different compared to the actual size of the polyp(P<0.001).The mean diameters obtained using DGBF(0.87±0.54cm)and ELMS(0.85±0.53 cm)did not significantly differ from the actual size of the polyp.The difference between the measurements from the ELMS and DGBF was not significant.CONCLUSION:Unlike visual estimations at colonoscopy,endoscopic graduated biopsy forceps and the endoscopic lesion measurement system are accurate methods to estimate polyp size. 展开更多

In this work,a force measurement system is proposed to measure the thrust of plasma microthruster with thrust magnitude ranging from sub-micro-Newtons to hundreds micro-Newtons.The thrust measurement system uses an elastic torsional pendulum structure with a capacitance sensor to measure the displacement,which can reflect the position change caused by the applied force perpendicular to the pendulum axis.In the open-loop mode,the steady-state thrust or the impulse of the plasma micro-thruster can be obtained from the swing of the pendulum,and in the closed-loop mode the steady-state thrust can be obtained from the feedback force that keeps the pendulum at a specific position.The thrust respond of the system was calibrated using an electrostatic weak force generation device.Experimental results show that the system can measure a thrust range from 0 to 200μN in both open-loop mode and closed-loop mode with a thrust resolution of 0.1μN,and the system can response to a pulse bit at the magnitude of 0.1 m N s generated by a micro cathode arc thruster.The background noise of the closed-loop mode is lower than that of the open-loop mode,both less than 0.1 m N/Hz in the range of 10 mHz to 5 Hz. 展开更多
