Intelligent control theory after 30 years of development has made gratifying achievements. But intelligent control has notyet formed a complete and systematic theory, based on the analysis, design, and there are many important problems in the practical application.Intelligent information processing is the use of some of the experience and knowledge of information, and the combination of that upper andlower knowledge information processing method. It is expected to solve the problem of insufficient information of pathology, computationcomplexity and the problem of real-time requirements, using the mathematical model is diffi cult to describe the nonlinear problem, etc. Underthis basis, this paper proposes the new mechanical automation technology based on the evolutionary algorithms and artifi cial intelligence theoryto propose the new perspective of dealing with the related challenges.展开更多

Based on the dynamic analysis of vehicle starting process and requirements of crawl driv- ing for the vehicle, a control strategy of the clutch was designed. The strategy increased the.slipping friction torque first and then decreased it, in order to realize the crawl driving. The speed increased by the engagement of the clutch, and then the clutch turned to disengage to the half disengage point, when the speed met the requirements. Based on the control strategy, a control software was de- signed. In the end, the software was tested on a vehicle with AMT. There are thus shown the most significant variants humanoid imagined or realized since Talos, described in Greek mythology, continuing with mechanical machines during late Roman Empire, the Byzantine Empire and then the Renaissance of the post-renaissance, then they are shown the main achievements of the industrialization period from the nineteenth to the early part of the twentieth century, then to the most important made in the last decades of the twentieth century and early twenty-first century. The principle and requirement of slowdriving function were analyzed. Based on analysis of slow driving characteristic,identification of slowdriving condition and fuzzy control algorithm,a control strategy of the clutch was designed. In order to realize slowdriving,the clutch was controlled in a slipping mode as manual driving. The vehicle speed was increased to a required speed and kept in a small range by engaging or disengaging the clutch to the approximate half engagement point. As a result, underground mining continues to progress to deeper levels in order...Mineral consumption is increasing rapidly as more consumers enter the market for minerals and as the global standard of living increases. As a result, underground mining continues to progress to deeper levels in order to tackle the mineral supply crisis in the 21 st century. However, deep mining occurs in a very technical and challenging environment, in which significant innovative solutions and best practice are required and additional safety standards must be implemented in order to overcome the challenges and reap huge eco- nomic gains. These challenges include the catastrophic events that are often met in deep mining engineering: rockbursts, gas outbursts, high in situ and redistributed stresses, large deformation, squeezing and creeping rocks, and high temperature. This review paper presents the current global status of deep mining and high-lights some of the newest technological achievements and opportunities associated with rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering in deep mining. This paper ...In the last five years, China has seen the technological development of intelligent mining and the application of the longwall automation technology developed by the Longwall Automation Steering Committee. This paper summarizes this great achievement, which occurred during the 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-2015), and which included the development of a set of intelligent equipment for hydraulic-powered supports, information transfers, dynamic decision-making, performance coordination, and the achievement of a high level of reliability despite difficult conditions. Within China, the intelligent system of a set of hydraulic-powered supports was completed, with our own intellectual property rights. An intelligent mining model was developed that permitted unmanned operation and single-person inspection on the work face. With these technologies, the number of miners on the work face can now be significantly reduced. Miners are only required to monitor mining machines on the roadway or at the surface control center, since intelligent mining can be applied to extract middle-thick or thick coal seams. As a result, miners' safety has been improved. Finally, this Darter discusses theprospects and challenges of intelligent mining over the next ten years.展开更多
Based on multidisciplinary design optimization(MDO),a new design method is put forward for hydraulic shift mechanism of heavy-duty vehicle automated manual transmission(AMT).Taking a shift cylinder for example,the...Based on multidisciplinary design optimization(MDO),a new design method is put forward for hydraulic shift mechanism of heavy-duty vehicle automated manual transmission(AMT).Taking a shift cylinder for example,the collaborative optimization(CO)method for the design problem of a cylinder is devided into one system level design optimization problem and three subsystem level design optimization problems.The system level is an economic model and the subsystem level is mechanics,kinetics,and a reliability model.Application of the multidisciplinary design optimization software iSIGHT modeling and solving,optimal solution of the shifting cylinder CO model is obtained.According to the optimal solution,oil cylinders are machined out and installed on the gearbox of an AMT system for the bench cycle shift test.The results show that the output force and action speed of the optimized mechanism can meet requirements very well.In addition,the optimized mechanism has a better performance compared to the structure of the traditional design method,which indicates that the CO method can optimize the design of hydraulic transmission.展开更多

Multispeed transmissions can enhance the dynamics and economic performance of electric vehicles(EVs),but the coordinated control of the drive motor and gear shift mechanism during gear shifting is still a difficult ch...Multispeed transmissions can enhance the dynamics and economic performance of electric vehicles(EVs),but the coordinated control of the drive motor and gear shift mechanism during gear shifting is still a difficult challenge because gear shifting may cause discomfort to the occupants.To improve the swiftness of gear shifting,this paper proposes a coordinated shift control method based on the dynamic tooth alignment(DTA)algorithm for nonsynchronizer automated mechanical transmissions(NSAMTs)of EVs.After the speed difference between the sleeve(SL)and target dog gear is reduced to a certain value by speed synchronization,angle synchronization is adopted to synchronize the SL quickly to the target tooth slofs angular position predicted by the DTA.A two-speed planetary NS AMT is taken as an example to carry out comparative simulations and bench experiments.Results show that gear shifting duration and maximum jerk are reduced under the shift control with the proposed method,which proves the effectiveness of the proposed coordinated shift control method with DTA.展开更多
