Experiments showed that the oil content in the contaminated soil with oil content about 2 898.25 mg/kg can be reduced about 98.61% after in-situ micro-ecological remediation for 99 days, which demonstrated the effectiveness of in-situ micro-ecological remediation methods for petroleum contaminated soil in central plains of China, and explored the practical and feasible application of these methods.展开更多

METHODS: A total of 60 diarrhea patients with deficiency and cold syndrome were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine. The observation group was given the treatment of Zhenren Yangzang Decoction combined with modified Shenling Baizhu Powder on the basis of the same treatment for 4 weeks. The clinical symptoms, fecal flora and immunoglobulin content of the 2 groups were observed and the clinical efficacy was evaluated. RESULTS: After treatment, the symptoms scores of fecal diarrhea, aversion to cold, cold limbs, loss of appetite, cold and painful waist and knee, abdominal fullness, abdominal distension and abdominal pain, and intestinal bacilli contents were significantly decreased(P < 0.05). The contents of lactobacillus, bifidus bacilli, IgG, IgM and IgA were significantly increased(P < 0.05), and the improvement of the above indexes in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group(P < 0.05). The total effective rate after treatment in the observation group was 93.3%, which was significantly higher than 73.3% of the control group(P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: The treatment of diarrhea patients with deficiency and cold syndrome with Zhenren Yangzang Decoction and modified Shenling Baizhu Powder can effectively improve the intestinal micro-ecological environment, improve the immune function of patients and promote the rapid recovery of patients.展开更多

Based on the knowledge about the characteristic requirements in seedling cultivation of mud crab under high-temperature conditions, this article reviews and discusses major factors affecting seedling rearing of mud crabs, and presents novel hatchery facilities for improvement of seedling rearing. The results of our study showed that major factors affecting seedling cultivation of mud crabs included: (1) the micro-ecological environment and characteristics of water quality in seedling rearing ponds, and a double-bottom cultivation facilities and cultivation techniques that meet the requirement; (2) salinity, temperature, light, NOE-N, NH4-N and other physical and chemical environmental factors that affect survival probability ofzoaea; (3) the total number of bacteria in the zoaea-culturing pond and the number of vibrio in seedling rearing; and (4) nutritional intensification with bait organisms in zoaea-culturing. To meet and improve these conditions, a novel hatchery facility was designed to modify the pond roof in accordance with the characteristics of the zoaea stage, and improve natural light thermostat control in seedling cultivation of mud crabs.展开更多

Methods: Forty specific pathogen free Sprague-Dawley rats were selected and randomly divided into blank(10 rats) and chronic bronchitis model groups(30 rats). The blank group rats were put into the smoke-free environment and the model group rats were put into the smoke environment in order to establish pulmonary disease(chronic bronchitis) model. Then the corresponding changes of the respiratory and intestinal microflora of the model on 20th, 50th and 70th days were synchronously observed. Results: The respiratory tract microflora showed an increase in the total aerobic and Staphylococcus aureus and reduced anaerobic amount significantly on 20th day in the respiratory tract microflora(P〈0.05 or 0.01). On 50th day, total aerobic, total anaerobic amount and bifidobacterium significantly increased(P〈0.05). On 70th day, Staphylococcus aureus reduced and lactobacillus increased significantly(P〈0.01). The intestinal microflora showed an increase in the total aerobic, Clostridium perfringens, enterobacter and enterococcus significantly increased on 20th day(P〈0.05 or 0.01). Staphylococcus aureus on 50th day increased significantly(P〈0.05). Total aerobic and enterococcus increased, total anaerobic and Clostridium perfringens reduced significantly on 70th day(P〈0.05 or 0.01). Conclusions: The microecosystem of respiratory tract and intestine of rat model during the pathological process showed a dynamic disorder, indicating an interaction between the lung and large intestine which may be one of the connotations as they exteriorly and interiorly related.展开更多
