Vector control schemes have recently been used to drive linear induction motors(LIM)in high-performance applications.This trend promotes the development of precise and efficient control schemes for individual motors.This research aims to present a novel framework for speed and thrust force control of LIM using space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM)inverters.The framework under consideration is developed in four stages.To begin,MATLAB Simulink was used to develop a detailed mathematical and electromechanical dynamicmodel.The research presents a modified SVPWM inverter control scheme.By tuning the proportional-integral(PI)controller with a transfer function,optimized values for the PI controller are derived.All the subsystems mentioned above are integrated to create a robust simulation of the LIM’s precise speed and thrust force control scheme.The reference speed values were chosen to evaluate the performance of the respective system,and the developed system’s response was verified using various data sets.For the low-speed range,a reference value of 10m/s is used,while a reference value of 100 m/s is used for the high-speed range.The speed output response indicates that themotor reached reference speed in amatter of seconds,as the delay time is between 8 and 10 s.The maximum amplitude of thrust achieved is less than 400N,demonstrating the controller’s capability to control a high-speed LIM with minimal thrust ripple.Due to the controlled speed range,the developed system is highly recommended for low-speed and high-speed and heavy-duty traction applications. 展开更多

Similarly, we prove that the wave semi-group e^it│△│^1/2 is bounded on the Hardy type modulation spaces μ^εp,q(R^n) for all 0 〈 p, q ≤ ∞, and s ∈R. All the bounds have an asymptotic factor t^n│1/p-1/2│ as t goes to the infinity. These results extend some known results for the case of p ≥ 1. Also, some applications for the Cauchy problems related to the semi-group eit(m^2I+│△│)1/2 are obtained. Finally we discuss the optimum of the factor t^n│1/p-1/2│ and raise some unsolved problems. 展开更多

In any case, the part of ideal determination of the voltage space vector is one of the weakest focuses in a routine DTC drive because of adjustable switching frequency and high torque ripple. In this paper, ideal choice of voltage space vectors is accomplished utilizing ANFIS (Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System) with space vector Modulation. SVM-DTC gives consistent switching frequency and the proposed ANFIS controller’s structure manages the torque and stator flux error signals through the fuzzy deduction to get a yield that takes the type of space voltage vector. Simulation results accept the proposed evolutionary system with quick torque and flux reaction with minimized torque ripple and flux ripple. 展开更多

In this paper the authors define a space Aωp,q (G) and prove that Aωp,q (G) is a translation invariant Banach space. Fur- thermore the authors discuss inclusion properties and show that if G is a locally compact abelian group then Aωp,q (G) admits an approximate identity bounded in Lω1 (G). It is also proved that the space Lωp (G) Lω1 Lωq (G) is isometrically isomorphic to the space Aωp,q (G) and the space of multipliers from Lωp (G) to Lq-1, (G) is isometrically isomorphic to the dual of the space Aωp,q (G) iff G satisfies a property Ppq. With the acceleration of agricultural electrification,a lot of nonlinear and shock loads appear in the rural power grid,and the resulting harmonic and reactive currents pollute the rural power grid more and more seriously.To solve the above problem,three-level neutral point clamped(NPC)inverters have been widely used,but their development is greatly restricted by the defect of neutral point voltage imbalance.In this paper,an improved virtual space vector pulse width modulation(VSVPWM)was proposed.Firstly,the mathematical models of various space vectors were established,and the influence of various space vectors on neutral point voltage was analyzed.The sum of the vector current at the neutral point was zero and the voltage control at the neutral point was completed by.introducing the time offset into different switching times of the redundant small vector.This method was simple in design and avoided the redundant calculation of the traditional VSVPWM method and tedious switch sequence design.This balancing control strategy could greatly reduce the influence of virtual vectors on neutral point voltage and effectively control the low-frequency oscillation of neutral point voltage.The validity of the method was verified by establishing a matlab simulation model. 展开更多

Dynamic modeling technique is used for space vector modulation (SVM) based voltage source converter that is adapted as a static synchronous series converter (SSSC) for harmonic analysis using dynamic harmonic domain. Performance of the SSSC is evaluated in dynamic harmonic domain simulation studies in MATLAB environment. The switching function spectra are necessary for harmonic transfer matrix which is calculated using Fourier series. In this paper, an improved hybrid space vector pulse width modulation (HSVPWM) technique is proposed for IM (induction motor) drives. The basic principle involved in the proposed random pulse width modulation (RPWM) cuddled SVPWM is amalgamating the pre-calculated switching timings for various sections of hexagonal space vector boundary and the random selection of carrier between two triangular signals, in order to disband acoustic switching noise spectrum with improved fundamental component. The arbitrary selection between triangular carriers, which is decided by digital signal states (Low or High) of the linear feedback shift register (LFSR) based pseudo random binary sequence (PRBS) generator. The SVPWM offers a control degree of freedom in terms of positioning of vectors inside every sampling interval and hence it has six possible variants of the voltage vectors arrangements in each sector. The developed HSVPWM is thoroughly analyzed in using the MATLAB? based simulation for all SVPWM variants. From the simulation and experimental results viz. harmonic spectrum, harmonic spread factor (HSF), total harmonic distortion (THD) etc., and the superiority of the proposed scheme such as better utilization of DC bus and the randomization of the harmonic power are evidenced. Any nonlinear behavior of the system is analyzed by a useful way of Total Harmonic Distortion(THD)technique.Reduced THD achieves lower peak current,higher efficiency and longer equipment life span.Simulated annealing(SA)is applied due to the effectiveness of locating solutions that are close to ideal and to challenge large-scale combinatorial optimization for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine(PMSM).The parameters of direct torque controllers(DTC)for the drive are automatically adjusted by the optimization algorithm.Advantages of the PI-Fuzzy-SA algorithm are retained when used together.It also improves the rate of system convergence.Speed response improvement and har-monic reduction is achieved with SA-based DTC for PMSM.This mechanism is known to be faster than other algorithms.Also,it is observed that as compared to other algorithms,the projected algorithm yields a reduced total harmonic distor-tion.As a result of the employment of Space Vector Modulation(SVM)techni-que,the system is resistant to changes in motor specifications and load torque.Through MATLAB&Simulink simulation,the experiment is done and the per-formance is calculated for the controller. 展开更多

Rising concern in environmental issues on global scale has made energy saving in powered equipment a very important subject.In order to improve the energy efficiency and driving range of a motor hoist,a regenerative braking system is designed and discussed.The system takes a unique ultracapacitor-only approach to energy storage system.The bi-directional bride DC?DC converter which regulates current flow to and from the ultracapacitor operates in two modes:boost and buck,depending on the direction of the flow.In order to provide constant input and output current at the ultracapacitor,this system uses a double proportional-integral(PI) control strategy in regulating the duty cycle of PWM to the DC?DC converter.The permanent magnet synchronous motor(PWSM) drive system is also studied.The space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) technique,along with a two-closed-loop vector control model,is adopted after detailed analysis of PMSM characteristics.The overall model and control strategy for this regenerative braking system is ultimately built and simulated under the MATLAB and Simulink environment.A test platform is built to obtain experimental results.Analysis of the results reveals that more than half of the gravitational potential energy can be recovered by this system.Simulation and experimentation results testify the validity of the double PI control strategy for interface circuit of ultracapacitor and SVPWM strategy for PMSM. 展开更多

The mathematical model of the grid-connected inverter is deduced firstly. Then, the space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) is analyzed. The power factor can be controlled close to unity, leading or lagging, which is realized based on H-type current controller and grid voltage vector-oriented control. The control strategy is verified by the simulation and experimental results with a good sinusoidal current, a small harmonic component and a fast dynamic response. 展开更多
