[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore suitable organic compound application models for watermelon growth.[Methods]With watermelon hybrid material"M22×P18"as the test material,the effects of fo...[Objectives]This study was conducted to explore suitable organic compound application models for watermelon growth.[Methods]With watermelon hybrid material"M22×P18"as the test material,the effects of four functional organic materials,namely garlic straw treatment(T_(1)),onion straw treatment(T_(2)),garlic straw+sheep manure treatment(T_(3))and onion straw+chicken manure treatment(T_(4)),on the morphological indexes,yield and quality of watermelon were investigated.[Results]Different functional organic materials had different effects on morphological indexes,yield and quality of watermelon.The morphological indexes,nutritional quality indexes and yield of watermelon treated with garlic straw and sheep manure compound(T_(3))and onion straw and chicken manure compound(T_(4))were significantly higher than those treated simply with garlic straw(T_(1))and onion straw(T_(2)),and T_(3)performed relatively better.Compared with treatment T_(2),T_(3)showed a stem diameter,vine length and leaf number increasing by 43.05%,46.69%and 40.77%respectively,central sugar and side sugar contents increasing by 11.72%and 21.90%respectively,and a yield increasing by 42.91%,with significant differences from T_(2).[Conclusions]This study provides technical support for high-quality and high-yielding cultivation of watermelon.展开更多
A peak is an important topographic feature crucial in quantitative geomorphic feature analysis,digital geomorphological mapping,and other fields.Most peak extraction methods are based on the maximum elevation in a loc...A peak is an important topographic feature crucial in quantitative geomorphic feature analysis,digital geomorphological mapping,and other fields.Most peak extraction methods are based on the maximum elevation in a local area but ignore the morphological characteristics of the peak area.This paper proposes three indices based on the morphological characteristics of peaks and their spatial relationship with ridge lines:convexity mean index(CM-index),convexity standard deviation(CSD-index),and convexity imbalance index(CIBindex).We develop computation methods to extract peaks from digital elevation model(DEM).Subsequently,the initial peaks extracted by neighborhood statistics are classified using the proposed indices.The method is evaluated in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau in China.An ASTER Global DEM(ASTGTM2 DEM)with a grid size of 30 m is chosen to assess the suitability of the proposed mountain peak extraction and classification method in different geomorphic regions.DEM data with grid sizes of 30 m and 5 m are used for the Loess Plateau.The mountain peak extraction and classification results obtained from the different resolution DEM are compared.The experimental results show that:(1)The CM-index and the CSDindex accurately reflect the concave or convex morphology of the surface and can be used as supplements to existing surface morphological indices.(2)The three indices can identify pseudo mountain peaks and classify the remaining peaks into single ridge peak(SR-Peak)and multiple ridge intersection peak(MRI-Peak).The visual inspection results show that the classification accuracy in the different study areas exceeds 75%.(3)The number of peaks is significantly higher for the 5 m DEM than for the 30 m DEM because more peaks can be detected at a finer resolution.展开更多

Morphological indices such as plant height, stem diameter and physiological indices such as protein, soluble sugar, chlorophyll content and relative conductivity (REC) of the two varieties under drought stress at seedling stage, tillering stage and jointing stage were determined, and data statistics and variance analysis were performed for each index. The results showed that the morphological indices, plant height of Wenyi 4 and Wenyi 5 were significantly affected by drought stress at seedling stage, while the stem diameter was significantly affected by drought stress at seedling and jointing stage. In terms of physiological indices, the relative conductivity, protein and soluble sugar contents of Wenyi 5 increased at a higher degree, whereas chlorophyll content decreased at a higher degree, indicating that Wenyi 5 was greatly affected by drought stress. Through the analysis of drought resistance of the tested materials at different stages by polar ordination method, the results were as follows: jointing stage of Wenyi 5>jointing stage of Wenyi 4>seedling stage of Wenyi 4>seedling stage of Wenyi 5>tillering Stage of Wenyi 4>Tillering Stage of Wenyi 5. For the growth period, the drought resistance was as follows: jointing stage>seedling stage>tillering stage. A pot experiment was conducted to investigate the changes in 13 phenotypic characters and physiological and biochemical indexes (plant height, fresh mass, root shoot ratio, POD activity, SOD activity) related to drought resist- ante, under two levels of water supply (repeated drought treatment and CK) at seedling stage of maize varieties, and evaluated drought resistanee comprehensively by standard deviation coefficient allocation weighed method. The results showed that the survival rate, leaf area, plant height, shoot fresh mass, root fresh mass, shoot dry mass and root dry mass of seedling maize decreased at varying degrees after repeated drought stress. However, the MDA molality, root shoot ratio, Pro content and soluble protein content increased under repeated drought stress. There were significant difference in morphological, physiological and biochemical inde- xes among different maize varieties. The drought resistances of different maize varieties successively were Yunrui 47 〉 Yuntianyu 2 〉 Yunyou 105 〉 Yunnuo 6 〉 Tianuo 888 〉 Yunrui 6 〉 Yunrui 999 〉 Yunrui 88. Textile industry is very important to the development of Chinese industry and econ-omy.Image processing techniques are beneficial to improve the quality of cotton goods.Suitable blending ratio of yarn is good for it.I...Textile industry is very important to the development of Chinese industry and econ-omy.Image processing techniques are beneficial to improve the quality of cotton goods.Suitable blending ratio of yarn is good for it.It is significant to measure the blending ratio of yarn in the practice of textile engineering.Combined with results done by other scholars,this paper uses the concepts of acreage index,abnormity index and fluctuation index.Based on these morphologic indices,it is convenient to construct corresponding eigenvector and to discuss useful mathematical method for the cluster analysis during the measurement of the blending ratio.This paper also sets up some kinds of nonlin-ear optimization model for the problem.Using classical integer programming algorithm,support vector machine algorithm and genetic algorithm to the problem,we get fine results for cluster analysis.Finally,we give out another problem of image processing and have some discussions about it.展开更多
