According to the aggregation method of experts' evaluation information in group decision-making,the existing methods of determining experts' weights based on cluster analysis take into account the expert's preferen...According to the aggregation method of experts' evaluation information in group decision-making,the existing methods of determining experts' weights based on cluster analysis take into account the expert's preferences and the consistency of expert's collating vectors,but they lack of the measure of information similarity.So it may occur that although the collating vector is similar to the group consensus,information uncertainty is great of a certain expert.However,it is clustered to a larger group and given a high weight.For this,a new aggregation method based on entropy and cluster analysis in group decision-making process is provided,in which the collating vectors are classified with information similarity coefficient,and the experts' weights are determined according to the result of classification,the entropy of collating vectors and the judgment matrix consistency.Finally,a numerical example shows that the method is feasible and effective.展开更多
In this article,the seismic performance of box-shaped steel piers embedded with energy-dissipating shells under a multi-directional seismic load is investigated.A finite element(FE)model was accurately established and...In this article,the seismic performance of box-shaped steel piers embedded with energy-dissipating shells under a multi-directional seismic load is investigated.A finite element(FE)model was accurately established and verified by the quasi-static test results.A parametric analysis of the hysteretic behaviour of a novel box-shaped steel pier under eccentric pressure was carried out on this basis.We discussed the influence of the eccentricity,axial compression ratio,thickness of embedded shell,ratio of slenderness,spacing of transverse stiffening ribs on the embedded shell,and width-to-thickness ratio of wallboard on the anti-seismic performance of a novel box-shaped steel bridge pier.The results revealed that the load carrying capacity and ductility coefficient of the specimen are substantially influenced by the eccentricity,variation in the axial compression ratio,and slenderness ratio.The specimen′s plastic energy dissipation capacity can be effectively improved by increasing the thickness of the embedded shell.The spacing of the transverse stiffening ribs only marginally affects seismic performance.In addition,the width-to-thickness ratio of the wallboard exerts a more considerable influence on the deformability of the square-section specimen.Finally,a formula for calculating the bearing capacity of the novel box-shaped steel piers under cyclic loading is proposed.展开更多
Distribution networks denote important public infrastructure necessary for people’s livelihoods.However,extreme natural disasters,such as earthquakes,typhoons,and mudslides,severely threaten the safe and stable opera...Distribution networks denote important public infrastructure necessary for people’s livelihoods.However,extreme natural disasters,such as earthquakes,typhoons,and mudslides,severely threaten the safe and stable operation of distribution networks and power supplies needed for daily life.Therefore,considering the requirements for distribution network disaster prevention and mitigation,there is an urgent need for in-depth research on risk assessment methods of distribution networks under extreme natural disaster conditions.This paper accessesmultisource data,presents the data quality improvement methods of distribution networks,and conducts data-driven active fault diagnosis and disaster damage analysis and evaluation using data-driven theory.Furthermore,the paper realizes real-time,accurate access to distribution network disaster information.The proposed approach performs an accurate and rapid assessment of cross-sectional risk through case study.The minimal average annual outage time can be reduced to 3 h/a in the ring network through case study.The approach proposed in this paper can provide technical support to the further improvement of the ability of distribution networks to cope with extreme natural disasters.展开更多
The void evolution of large-section plastic mold steel during multi-directional forging(MDF)was investigated using multiscale analysis.To simulate the forging process of the plastic mold steel(SDP1 steel)and realize m...The void evolution of large-section plastic mold steel during multi-directional forging(MDF)was investigated using multiscale analysis.To simulate the forging process of the plastic mold steel(SDP1 steel)and realize micro-void reconstruction in a representative volume element(RVE),MDF experiment and void-characteristic evaluation of the SDP1 steel were carried out.Traditional upsetting and stretching forging(TUSF)and MDF were simulated to comparatively analyze the evolution of temperature,effective stress,and effective strain.By embedding RVE with a micro-void and using boundary condition by point tracking into the forging process,the single-void evolution in TUSF and MDF was studied.The effect of void orientation on single-void evolution was also investigated.The multi-scale analysis revealed the following results.(1)Compared with TUSF,MDF achieved a higher efficiency in void closure.(2)The closing efficiency of the void increased with the increase in angle h(the angle between the Z and long axes of the void).(3)The closing efficiency increased with the increase in the orientation angle during the forging process.On the basis of the important role of the main stress in each forging step on the void closure,an integral formula of the main stress was proposed.When main compressive-stress integration reached-0.4,the closed state of the void could be accurately determined.展开更多

Several theoretica...Legal research methods refer to a general term for disciplined and systematic procedures, approaches, means, techniques, and models used by researchers to acquire novel and reliable legal knowledge. Several theoretical debates on the originality of legal research methods go on as follows: Is one legal research method superior to another? Do legal research methods aim for methodological independence? Are legal research methods objective or subjective? Influenced by scientism, positivism is usually considered to be the only reasonable research method, but since law is different from science, only using positivist research approaches is insufficient for solving legal problems. Strictly speaking, a method that is appropriate for the research subject is a reasonable method. As one of the humanities and social sciences, law has similarities with other disciplines in terms of the scope of research;therefore, its research methods could be borrowed from other disciplines. However, law cannot ignore the development of its own unique research methods while retaining its advantages. Legal research methods are supposed to be objective because they should follow scientific standards and have objective arguments, but inevitably, legal research would be subjective and full of value judgments since it means subjective and creative activities of researchers. Of course, the choice of values should preferably be made in the context of value-freeness to ensure the organic combination of value-freeness and value judgment.展开更多
