The samples were annealed at 100-450 ℃ and were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, thermal gravity-DTG, brunauer emmett teller, and NHa-temperature programmed desorption. The results showed that the bmim-PW12 samples were crystal and maintained intact Keggin structure. The organic parts of those samples were partly decomposed at a temperature more than 350 ℃. The sample annealed at 400 ℃ exhibited nano-porous structure, strong acidity, and excellent catalytic activity on the esterification of n-butanol with acetic acid. The higher ester yield was obtained when the mass ratio of catalyst over the reactants amount was 5% for bmim-PW12 catalyst annealed at 400 ℃.展开更多

The cathodic peak potential was positively shifted and the peak currents were increased compared to that obtained on traditional carbon paste electrode (CPE). The results indicated that the presence of ionic liquid BPPF6 on the electrode surface showed excellent catalytic ability to the electrochemical reduction of PNP. The electrochemical behaviors of PNP on the CILE were investigated by cyclic voltammetry and the conditions such as the scan rate, the buffer pH, the substrate concentration were optimized. The electrochemical parameters were further calculated with the results of the electron transfer number (n), the charge-transfer coefficient (α) and the surface concentration (Гr) as 1.76, 0.37 and 2.47 × 10^-9 mol/cm^2, respectively, for the selected reductive peak. The results indicated that PNP showed an irreversible adsorption-controlled electrode process on the CILE.展开更多

The effect of the catalyst composition, the reaction time, the reaction temperature, the ionic liquid dosage, as well as the molar ratio of the reagents on the 2-isopropyl naphthalene yield was systematically investigated. The optimal reaction conditions cover: an AlCl3 to Et3NHCl ratio of 2.0, a reaction time of 3 h, a reaction temperature of 15.0 ℃, a volume fraction of ionic liquid to the mixture(isopropyl bromide, n-dodecane and n-hexane) of 9%, and a naphthalene/isopropyl bromide molar ratio of 4.0. Under the optimal reaction conditions, the conversion of isopropyl bromide reached 98% and the selectivity of 2-isopropyl naphthalene was equal to 80%. The test results verified good catalytic activity upon using Et3NHCl-AlCl3 ionic liquid as the catalyst for alkylation of naphthalene with isopropyl bromide. The activity of the ionic liquid remains unchanged after it has been recycled for 4 times.展开更多

Changes in chemical shifts of hydrogen nuclei and of carbon nuclei with the acetone concentration indicated the formation of hydrogen bond between anion of the ionic liquid and methyl protons of acetone. The NMR results were in good agreement with the ab initio computational results.展开更多
