Recent research in cross-domain intelligence fault diagnosis of machinery still has some problems, such as relatively ideal speed conditions and sample conditions. In engineering practice, the rotational speed of the machine is often transient and time-varying,which makes the sample annotation increasingly expensive.Meanwhile, the number of samples collected from different health states is often unbalanced. To deal with the above challenges,a complementary-label(CL)adversarial domain adaptation fault diagnosis network(CLADAN)is proposed under time-varying rotational speed and weakly-supervised conditions. In the weakly supervised learning condition, machine prior information is used for sample annotation via cost-friendly complementary label learning.A diagnosticmodel learning strategywith discretized category probabilities is designed to avoidmulti-peak distribution of prediction results. In adversarial training process,we developed virtual adversarial regularization(VAR)strategy, which further enhances the robustness of the model by adding adversarial perturbations in the target domain.Comparative experiments on two case studies validated the superior performance of the proposed method. 展开更多

The success of deep transfer learning in fault diagnosis is attributed to the collection of high-quality labeled data from the source domain. However,in engineering scenarios, achieving such high-quality label annotation is difficult and expensive. The incorrect label annotation produces two negative effects:1)the complex decision boundary of diagnosis models lowers the generalization performance on the target domain,and2)the distribution of target domain samples becomes misaligned with the false-labeled samples. To overcome these negative effects, this article proposes a solution called the label recovery and trajectory designable network(LRTDN).LRTDN consists of three parts.First,a residual network with dual classifiers is to learn features from cross-domain samples.Second,an annotation check module is constructed to generate a label anomaly indicator that could modify the abnormal labels of false-labeled samples in the source domain. With the training of relabeled samples, the complexity of diagnosis model is reduced via semi-supervised learning.Third, the adaptation trajectories are designed for sample distributions across domains. This ensures that the target domain samples are only adapted with the pure-labeled samples. The LRTDN is verified by two case studies,in which the diagnosis knowledge of bearings is transferred across different working conditions as well as different yet related machines. The results show that LRTDN offers a high diagnosis accuracy even in the presence of incorrect annotation. 展开更多

Strain gradient is a normal phenomenon around a heterostructural interface in ultrathin film, and it is important to determine its effect on magnetic interactions to understand interfacial coupling. In this work, ultrathin Pr_(0.67)Sr_(0.33)MnO_(3)(PSMO)films on different substrates are studied. For PSMO film under different in-plane strain conditions, the saturated magnetization and Curie temperature can be qualitatively explained by double-exchange interaction and the Jahn-Teller distortion. However, the difference in the saturated magnetization with zero field cooling and 5 T field cooling is proportional to the strain gradient.Strain-gradient-induced structural disorder is proposed to enhance phonon-electron antiferromagnetic interactions and the corresponding antiferromagnetic-to-ferromagnetic phase transition via a strong magnetic field during the field cooling process.A non-monotonous structural transition of the MnO_(6) octahedral rotation can enlarge the strain gradient in PSMO film on a SrTiO_(3) substrate. This work demonstrates the existence of the flexomagnetic effect in ultrathin manganite film, which should be applicable to other complex oxide systems. 展开更多

To investigate the influence of snow particle rotational motion on the accumulation of snow in the bogie region of high-speed trains,an Euler‒Lagrange numerical approach is adopted. The study examines the effects of snow particle diameter and train speed on the ensuing dynamics. It is shown that considering snow particle rotational motion causes significant deviation in the particle trajectories with respect to non-rotating particles.Such a deviation increases with larger snow particle diameters and higher train speeds. The snow accumulation on the overall surface of the bogie increases, and the amount of snow on the vibration reduction device varies greatly. In certain conditions, the amount of accumulated snow can increase by several orders of magnitudes. 展开更多

An extreme torrential rain(ETR)event occurred in Henan Province,China, during 18-21 July 2021.Based on hourly rain-gauge observations and ERA5 reanalysis data, the ETR was studied from the perspective of kinetic energy(K),which can be divided into rotational wind(V_(R))kinetic energy(K_(R)),divergent wind kinetic energy(K_(D)),and the kinetic energy of the interaction between the divergent and rotational winds(K_(RD)).According to the hourly precipitation intensity variability, the ETR process was divided into an initial stage,a rapid increase stage, and maintenance stage. Results showed that the intensification and maintenance of ETR were closely related to the upper-level K,and most closely related to the upperlevel K_(R),with a correlation coefficient of up to 0.9.In particular, the peak value of hourly rainfall intensity lagged behind the K_(R) by 8 h.Furthermore, diagnosis showed that K transformation from unresolvable to resolvable scales made the ETR increase slowly. The meridional rotational wind(u_(R))and meridional gradient of the geopotential(φ)jointly determined the conversion of available potential energy(APE)to K_(R) through the barotropic process, which dominated the rapid enhancement of K_(R) and then caused the rapid increase in ETR.The transportation of K by rotational wind consumed K_(R),and basically offset the K_(R) produced by the barotropic process, which basically kept K_(R) stable at a high value, thus maintaining the ETR. 展开更多

The effects of equilibrium toroidal rotation during edge-localized mode(ELM)mitigated by resonant magnetic perturbation(RMP)are studied with the experimental equilibria of the EAST tokamak based on the four-field model in the BOUT++code. As the two main parameters to determine the toroidal rotation profiles, the rotation shear and magnitudes were separately scanned to investigate their roles in the impact of RMPs on peeling-ballooning(P-B)modes.On one hand, the results show that strong toroidal rotation shear is favorable for the enhancement of the self-generated E×B shearing rate<ω_(E×B)>with RMPs,leading to significant ELM mitigation with RMP in the stronger toroidal rotation shear region. On the other hand, toroidal rotation magnitudes may affect ELM mitigation by changing the penetration of the RMPs,more precisely the resonant components.RMPs can lead to a reduction in the pedestal energy loss by enhancing the multimode coupling in the turbulence transport phase. The shielding effects on RMPs increase with the toroidal rotation magnitude, leading to the enhancement of the multimode coupling with RMPs to be significantly weakened.Hence, the reduction in pedestal energy loss by RMPs decreased with the rotation magnitude. In brief, the results show that toroidal rotation plays a dual role in ELM mitigation with RMP by changing the shielding effects of plasma by rotation magnitude and affecting<ω_(E×B)>by rotation shear. In the high toroidal rotation region, toroidal rotation shear is usually strong and hence plays a dominant role in the influence of RMP on P-B modes, whereas in the low rotation region, toroidal rotation shear is weak and has negligible impact on P-B modes, and the rotation magnitude plays a dominant role in the influence of RMPs on the P-B modes by changing the field penetration. Therefore, the dual role of toroidal rotation leads to stronger ELM mitigation with RMP,which may be achieved both in the low toroidal rotation region and the relatively high rotation region that has strong rotational shear. 展开更多

Aiming at the problems of low efficiency, poor anti-noise and robustness of transfer learning model in intelligent fault diagnosis of rotating machinery,a new method of intelligent fault diagnosis of rotating machinery based on single source and multi-target domain adversarial network model(WDMACN)and Gram Angle Product field(GAPF)was proposed.Firstly, the original one-dimensional vibration signal is preprocessed using GAPF to generate the image data including all time series.Secondly, the residual network is used to extract data features, and the features of the target domain without labels are pseudo-labeled,and the transferable features among the feature extractors are shared through the depth parameter, and the feature extractors of the multi-target domain are updated anatomically to generate the features that the discriminator cannot distinguish. The modelt through adversarial domain adaptation, thus achieving fault classification. Finally,a large number of validations were carried out on the bearing data set of Case Western Reserve University(CWRU)and the gear data. The results show that the proposed method can greatly improve the diagnostic efficiency of the model, and has good noise resistance and generalization. 展开更多

By numerically solving the two-dimensional semiconductor Bloch equation,we study the high-order harmonic emission of a monolayer ZnO under the driving of co-rotating two-color circularly polarized laser pulses.By changing the relative phase between the fundamental frequency field and the second one,it is found that the harmonic intensity in the platform region can be significantly modulated. In the higher order, the harmonic intensity can be increased by about one order of magnitude.Through time-frequency analysis,it is demonstrated that the emission trajectory of monolayer ZnO can be controlled by the relative phase, and the harmonic enhancement is caused by the second quantum trajectory with the higher emission probability. In addition,near-circularly polarized harmonics can be generated in the co-rotating two-color circularly polarized fields. With the change of the relative phase, the harmonics in the platform region can be altered from left-handed near-circularly polarization to right-handed one.Our results can obtain high-intensity harmonic radiation with an adjustable ellipticity, which provides an opportunity for syntheses of circularly polarized attosecond pulses. 展开更多

Globally, agricultural soils are considered as one of the most important sources of greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions.No-tillage(NT),one of the most admired ways of climate-smart agriculture, has been deemed to have co-benefit to mitigation of GHG emissions and sustainability for crop yield, however, the effect of NT on GHG emissions is controversial. This study analyzed the overall effects of NT on GHG emissions,as well as the moderators that significantly influenced the overall effects,of the wheat-based rotation cropping systems in China through meta-analysis.The results showed that the overall effect size of NT on methane(CH4)uptake,nitrous oxide(N2O)emission,and global warming potential(GWP)was 0.70(95%Confidence Interval(CI):0.21–1.19),-0.27(95%CI:-0.72–0.18),and-0.39(95%CI:-1.01–0.23),respectively.In temperate climate zones with alkaline soils, the nitrogen application rate of 120–240 kg/ha,NT could significantly reduce GHG emissions and GWP.However, the mitigation effect will be weakened along with NT duration, except for proper straw addition.Overall,NT has the potential to reduce GHG emissions from wheat-based rotation systems in China, but it is necessary to implement NT depending on local conditions, soil characteristics, and field management. 展开更多

Investigations into the Andean orocline revealed a counterclockwise rotation of about 37° in the north and a clockwise rotation of about 29° in the south. This rotation would have started in the Eocene because the Nazca and South American plates converged. The transition zone between the Puna and the Sierras Pampeanas has a clockwise rotation pattern. Our new data show that the NE convergence of the Nazca and South American plates caused the counterclockwise rotation around the NW end of the Sierras Pampeanas. The temperature rise during a magmatic activity at 13 Ma would have favored a counterclockwise rotation of the mountain blocks of about 20° on a detachment zone within 10 to 15 km of depth. These range rotations generated local stress tensors trending NE and NW, facilitating the development of valleys, basins, mineralized dikes, mineral deposits, and alluvial fans separated from their origin. The Atajo fault shows both ductile and brittle characteristics. A mylonitic belt from the Sierra de Aconquija was juxtaposed on the rocks of the Ovejería Block and the Farallón Negro Volcanic Complex by reverse vertical displacement, and a dextral horizontal component of displacement resulted in curvatures that gave rise to pull-apart basins and step over features. The Santa Maria Valley, Campo del Arenal, Hualfín Valley, and Pipanaco salt flat most likely constituted a vast early Miocene basin rarely interrupted by low feature relief. 展开更多

As the research of knowledge graph(KG)is deepened and widely used, knowledge graph com-pletion(KGC)has attracted more and more attentions from researchers, especially in scenarios of in-telligent search, social networks and deep question and answer(Q&A).Current research mainly fo-cuses on the completion of static knowledge graphs, and the temporal information in temporal knowl-edge graphs(TKGs)is ignored. However, the temporal information is definitely very helpful for the completion.Note that existing researches on temporal knowledge graph completion are difficult to process temporal information and to integrate entities, relations and time well.In this work,a rotation and scaling(RotatS)model is proposed, which learns rotation and scaling transformations from head entity embedding to tail entity embedding in 3D spaces to capture the information of time and rela-tions in the temporal knowledge graph. The performance of the proposed RotatS model have been evaluated by comparison with several baselines under similar experimental conditions and space com-plexity on four typical knowl good graph completion datasets publicly available online. The study shows that RotatS can achieve good results in terms of prediction accuracy. 展开更多

The work herein employed a rotating packed bed(RPB)to intensify the sulfonation process of 1,4-diaminoanthraquinone leuco(DL)in an attempt to improve the yield of the product 1,4-diaminoanthra quinone-2-sulfonic acid(DSA).First, the effects of operating conditions in a stirred tank reactor(STR),including stirring speed, chlorosulfonic acid/DL molar ratio(η),solvent/DL mass ratio(ζ),reaction temperature and dropping speed of chlorosulfonic acid,on the yield of DSA were investigated. The yield of DSA can reach 87.34%under the optimal operating conditions:stirring speed of 500 r·min^(-1),ηof 4.5,ζof 7,reaction temperature of 150℃,dropping speed of 0.61 ml·min^(-1).In addition, the kinetics of the sulfonation process via the shrinking core model revealed that the reaction is controlled by diffusion via a product layer under the reaction temperature of 140℃.Furthermore,the RPB was employed to intensify the mass transfer between liquid and solid phases during the sulfonation reaction process. The results showed that the DSA yield of 92.69%obtained by RPB was 5.35%higher than that by STR,indicating that RPB can significantly intensify the mass transfer in the liquid-solid phase sulfonation reaction process. 展开更多

Today, the origin of the magnetic field of stars and planets is explained by the dynamo effect. Since Cowling’s anti-dynamo theorem has forbidden a purely axisymmetric dynamo, scientists are all convinced today that the fluid flow in the core of a star cannot be laminar, so it is turbulent. However, we will see in this study that the configuration in which the conductive fluid contained in the core of a star is in rapid rotation around an axis of symmetry is the one that best explains the origin of the magnetic field of stars and planets. It also explains why certain types of stars have very intense magnetic fields. Indeed, we will show here that the magnetic field of stars and planets is created by the electric current generated by the rotational movement of charged fluid particles as in an electromagnet. The lines of this magnetic field are channelled by the solid paramagnetic seed which plays the role of magnetic core in the cores of planets and stars. The seed is composed mainly of Iron and Nickel on the planets and of solid helium-3 in the stars. In this work, we will use this model of rapidly rotating fluids to introduce a new way to ionize a neutral gas and maintain it in a plasma state for indefinitely large time scales, to present a new technique for generating very intense magnetic fields, to establish a new magnetic nucleation process and to propose a new type of nuclear fusion reactor in which the plasma is perpetually rapidly rotating. 展开更多

Blade rubbing faults cause detrimental impact on the operation of aeroengines. Most of the existing studies on blade rubbing in the shaft-disk-blade-casing(SDBC) system have overlooked the elastic deformation of the blade, while some only consider the whirl of the rotor, neglecting its spin. To address these limitations, this paper proposes a dynamic model with large rotation for the SDBC system. The model incorporates the spin and whirl of the rotor, enabling the realistic reproduction of multiblade rubbing faults. To verify the accuracy of the SDBC model with large rotation and demonstrate its capability to effectively consider the rotational effects such as the centrifugal stiffening and gyroscopic effects, the natural characteristics and dynamic responses of the proposed model are compared with those obtained from reported research and experimental results. Furthermore, the effects of the rotating speed, contact stiffness, and blade number on the dynamic characteristics of the SDBC system with multi-blade rubbing are investigated. The results indicate that the phase angle between the rotor deflection and the unbalance excitation force increases with the increasing rotating speed, which significantly influences the rubbing penetration of each blade. The natural frequency of the SDBC system with rubbing constrain can be observed in the acceleration response of the casing and the torsional response of the shaft, and the frequency is related to the contact stiffness. Moreover, the vibration amplitude increases significantly with the product of the blade number under rubbing, and the rotating frequency approaches the natural frequency of the SDBC system. The proposed model can provide valuable insight for the fault diagnosis of rubbing in bladed rotating machinery. 展开更多

Charge-exchange(CX) recombination spectroscopy is a powerful tool monitoring ion temperature and plasma rotation with good temporal and spatial resolutions. A compact, new design for a high-throughput, tri-band high spectral resolution spectrometer has been developed for the charge-exchange recombination spectroscopy measurement on the HL-2A tokamak. The simultaneous measurements of He II(468.57 nm), C VI(529.1 nm), and Dα(656.1 nm accompanied by beam emission spectra) with an acquisition frequency up to 400 Hz are achieved by vertically binning the spectrum from each fiber in experiments. Initial results indicate that the system can provide radial profiles of not only ion temperature and rotation velocity, but also concentration of carbon. For the case of helium, the measurements for the ion temperature and rotation velocity are straightforward but the apparent concentration associated with the observed CX intensity is obviously too high. Modeling of the active He II CX feature including plume contributions needs to be carried out to extract the true helium concentration. The spectrometer could become a prototype for the ITER charge-exchange recombination spectroscopy diagnostic and the pilot experiments, as presented here, demonstrate the possibility of impurity concentrations measurements based on the combined measurement of local beam emission and charge-exchange recombination spectroscopy spectra. 展开更多

The hybrid scenario, which has good confinement and moderate MHD instabilities,is a proposed operation scenario for international thermonuclear experimental reactor(ITER).In this work, the effect of plasma rotation on the HL-3 hybrid scenario is analyzed with the integrated modeling framework OMFIT.The results show that toroidal rotation has no obvious effect on confinement with a high line averaged density of n_(bar)~(7)×10^(19)m^(-3).In this case, the ion temperature only changes from 4.7 keV to 4.4 keV with the rotation decreasing from 10^(5) rad/s to 10^(3) rad/s,which means that the turbulent heat transport is not dominant. While in the scenarios characterized by lower densities, such as n_(bar)~4×10^(19)m^(-3),turbulent transport becomes dominant in determining heat transport. The ion temperature rises from 3.8 keV to 6.1 keV in the core as the rotation velocity increases from 10^(3) rad/s to 10^(5) rad/s.Despite the ion temperature rising, the rotation velocity does not obviously affect electron temperature or density.Additionally,it is noteworthy that the variation in rotation velocity does not significantly affect the global confinement of plasma in scenarios with low density or with high density. 展开更多

In this research,we focus on the free-surface deformation of a one-dimensional elastic semiconductor medium as a function of magnetic field and moisture diffusivity. The problem aims to analyze the interconnection between plasma and moisture diffusivity processes,as well as thermo-elastic waves. The study examines the photothermoelasticity transport process while considering the impact of moisture diffusivity.By employing Laplace’s transformation technique,we derive the governing equations of the photo-thermo-elastic medium. These equations include the equations for carrier density, elastic waves, moisture transport, heat conduction, and constitutive relationships.Mechanical stresses, thermal conditions, and plasma boundary conditions are used to calculate the fundamental physical parameters in the Laplace domain.By employing numerical techniques, the Laplace transform is inverted to get complete time-domain solutions for the primary physical domains under study.Referencemoisture, thermoelastic, and thermoelectric characteristics are employed in conjunction with a graphical analysis that takes into consideration the effects of applied forces on displacement, moisture concentration, carrier density, stress due to forces, and temperature distribution. 展开更多
