The results showed that there were 27 families 54 species of weeds in sampling area. Eleven species were Gramineae and ten species were Compositae. There were eight families 13 species in corn fields, ten families 20 species in sug- arcane fields, 12 families 18 species in pineapple fields, ten families 11 species in banana fields and nine families 14 species in mango fields. Bidens bipinnata, Eupa- torium odoratum and Emilia sonchifolia of Compositae were generally occurred with serious harm. Roegneria kamoji, Stellaria media and Bothriochloa intermedia of Gramineae were widely occurred. Weed community made up of Compositae + Gramineae + Oxalidaceae was the main form of dryland weed. The Pielou uniformi- ty of the five use patterns in the studying area were 0.967, 0.964, 0,947, 0.969 and 0.962, respectively, which were high.展开更多

[Method] By using observation data (atmospheric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, wind direction and speed, precipitation, sunshine, etc.) from January to December in 2000 at old and new Nanning National Weather Station, difference of the each meteorological factor was contrasted. Main reason for difference of the each meteorological factor was analyzed from altitude, underlying surface property and station environment. [Result] Atmospheric pressure and temperature at new station were both lower than that at old station, while relative humidity and wind speed were both higher than that at old station. Rainfall and sunshine had big differences at new and old stations, but variation did not have rule. Main reasons for obvious difference of the meteorological factor were that altitude, observation environment, terrain and underlying surface property at new and old stations were different. Influences of the altitude and observation environment were especially significant. [Conclusion] The research provided basis for continuity and homogeneity correction of the data sequence at Nanning National Weather Station.展开更多

[Method] Based on the agricultural statistics data of Guangxi and al over China, yield com-parative advantage (YCA) index, efficiency comparative advantage (ECA) index, scale comparative advantage (SCA) index, concentration ratio comparative advantage (CRCA) index, comprehensive comparative advantage (CCA) index, ratio of yield per unit area (RYPA) index and sowing area ratio (SAR) index were established and calculated to determine the watermelon production comparative advantages in 31 provinces (cities) in China. Spacial patterns of the comparative advantages were produced by using GIS software. [Result] Nine provinces Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Hebei, Hubei, Jiangsu, Hunan, Zhejiang and Guangxi were the dominant regions in watermelon production al over the country. The Central and Eastern China showed the integrated comparative advantage in watermelon production, while the Southern, Northeastern, Northern and Northwestern China can be considered as the potential places for watermelon production in future. Southwest China gave more priority to watermelon production, so the comparative advantages kept increasing here. [Con-clusion] Based on this study, watermelon production should be a prior consideration among the agricultural products in Guangxi. Related measures should be developed to optimize the regional distribution of watermelon in Guangxi and China to promote healthy competition in watermelon production.展开更多

However, the employment structure and transfer characteristics of rural laborers have important effect on regional industrial structure. Applying shiftshare method( SSM) which is often used in analyzing the characteristics of industrial structure to the structure analysis of the labour force can better show the characteristics of labor employment and transfer, thereby providing some reference for the development of regional social economy. The results showed that the transfer of rural laborers in He’nan Province still showed the typical characteristics of traditional agricultural province; the basic advantages of agricultural employment of rural laborers have gradually weakened, while the competitive advantages of the industry, the building industry, and the wholesale & retail trade and catering service industry gradually became obvious, at the same time, there were differences in the deviation of departments among different regions of He’nan Province.展开更多
