Background Durable polymer drug eluting stent (DES) is confronted with many issues, especially the inci- dence of late stent thrombosis (ST) which is mainly due to delayed healing and re-endothelization by the durable polymer coating. Newer polymer-free DES might have a reduction in late stent thrombosis. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of two different drug eluting stents in patients with acute coro- nary syndromes (ACS) by one year follow-up. Methods This study assessed the results of the Nano polymer- free SES (Lepu Medical Technology, Beijing, China) and Endeavor durable-polymer ZES (Medtronic, Minneapo- lis, MN, USA) in ACS patients by clinical follow-up and coronary angiography analysis. The primary endpoint was the onset of any major adverse cardiac events (MACE) such as cardiac death, myocardial infarction (MI) and target vessel revascularization (TVR). The secondary endpoints were target lesion revascularization (TLR) and stent thrombosis (ST) at the end of one year follow-up. Results Between April 2014 and June 2015, a total of 513 consecutive patients were enrolled in this trial. There were 259 patients enrolled in Nano group and 253 pa- tients in Endeavor group. Mean age was 62.8 +10.3 years old (range: 28 to 87 years of age), and 65.3% of pa- tients were male. Compared Nano-SES to Endeavor-ZES, the incidence of MACE was 5.4% vs. 7.1%. The hazard ratio (HR) was 1.32 with 95% confidence interval (CI) as 0.64-2.72 (P = 0.45). Secondary end points showed TLR (1.9% vs. 3.2%; HR, 1.42; 95% CI, 0.45-4.55; P = 0.55) and ST (0.4% vs. 0.8%; HR, 2.03; 95% CI, 0.18- 5.37; P = 0.99), in the one-year period of follow-up. Conclusion Within one-year, the Nano polymer-free SES has similar safety and efficacy compared with the Endeavor durable-polymer ZES in the treatment of patients with ACS. 展开更多

随着计算机视觉和边缘计算技术的不断发展,对于复杂场景的高效重建与表征成为了研究的热点之一。本研究提出了一种基于Jetson Nano的隐式场景表征重建方法,旨在通过深度学习和边缘计算技术的有机结合,实现对复杂场景的高效重建与表征。... 随着计算机视觉和边缘计算技术的不断发展,对于复杂场景的高效重建与表征成为了研究的热点之一。本研究提出了一种基于Jetson Nano的隐式场景表征重建方法,旨在通过深度学习和边缘计算技术的有机结合,实现对复杂场景的高效重建与表征。本研究是基于Jetson Nano边缘计算平台,将RGBD相机与其连接,通过网络传输将采集的数据存储于云端。本研究采用了一种创新性的隐式表示模型,通过函数对场景信息进行紧凑而高效的表征。该方法在Jetson Nano边缘计算平台上通过统一计算设备架构(Compute Unified Device Architecture,CUDA)和深度学习推理引擎(Turing Tensor R-Engine,TensorRT)优化,进一步提升了计算效率。结合隐式神经网络和同步定位与地图构建(Simultaneous Localization And Mapping,SLAM)技术,成功实现了三维场景的精准重建,相机追踪中绝对轨迹误差的均方根误差平均值达到了1.87,在各个场景的表现均具有鲁棒性。 展开更多

Code converters are essential in digital nano communication;therefore,a low-complexity optimal QCA layout for a BCD to Excess-3 code converter has been proposed in this paper.A QCA clockphase-based design technique was adopted to investigate integration with other complicated circuits.Using a unique XOR gate,the recommended circuit’s cell complexity has been decreased.The findings produced using the QCADesigner-2.0.3,a reliable simulation tool,prove the effectiveness of the current structure over earlier designs by considering the number of cells deployed,the area occupied,and the latency as design metrics.In addition,the popular tool QCAPro was used to estimate the energy dissipation of the proposed design.The proposed technique reduces the occupied space by∼40%,improves cell complexity by∼20%,and reduces energy dissipation by∼1.8 times(atγ=1.5EK)compared to the current scalable designs.This paper also studied the suggested structure’s energy dissipation and compared it to existing works for a better performance evaluation. 展开更多

In line with recent studies,where it has been shown that nanofluids containing graphene have a stronger capacity to boost the heat transfer coefficient with respect to ordinary nanofluids,experiments have been conducted using water with cobalt ferrite/graphene nanoparticles.In particular,a circular channel made of copper subjected to a constant heatflux has been considered.As nanoparticles are sensitive to the presence of a magneticfield,different conditions have been examined,allowing both the strength and the frequency of such afield to span relatively wide ranges and assuming different concentrations of nanoparticles.According to thefindings,the addition of nanoparticles to thefluid causes its rotation speed to increase by a factor of two,whereas ultraviolet radiation plays a negligible role.The amount of time required to attain the maximum rotation speed of the nanofluid and the Nusselt number have been measured under both constant and alternating magneticfields for a ferrofluid with a concentration of 0.5%and atflow Reynolds number of 550 and 1750. 展开更多

Nanorubber/epoxy composites containing 0,2,6 and 10 wt%nanorubber are subjected to uniaxial compression over a wide range of strain rate from 8×10^(-4) s^(-1) to~2×10^(4) s^(-1).Unexpectedly,their strain rate sensitivity and strain hardening index increase with increasing nanorubber content.Potential mechanisms are proposed based on numerical simulations using a unit cell model.An increase in the strain rate sensitivity with increasing nanorubber content results from the fact that the nanorubber becomes less incompressible at high strain,generating a higher hydro-static pressure.Adiabatic shear localization starts to occur in the epoxy under a strain rate of 22,000 s^(-1) when the strain exceeds 0.35.The presence of nanorubber in the epoxy reduces adiabatic shear localization by preventing it from propagating. 展开更多

WC-Co nanocrystalline nitrogen-containing cemented carbides were prepared by vacuum sintering and low pressure sintering.The sintering processes of Cr_(2)(C,N)doped nano WC-Co powders were studied by using thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The effect of sintering temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties of nanocrystalline cemented carbide was studied by scanning electron microscope(SEM),high resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM)and mechanical property test.The results showed that the nano WC grains began to grow in the solid phase sintering stage.A high-performance nano-nitrogen-containing cemented carbide with uniform microstructure and good interfacial bonding can be obtained by increasing the sintering temperature to 1380℃.It has a transverse rupture strength(TRS)of 5057 MPa and a hardness of 1956 HV30. 展开更多

Nanoscale drug delivery systems(nDDS)have been employed widely in enhancing the therapeutic efficacy of drugs against diseases with reduced side effects.Although several nDDS have been successfully approved for clinical use up to now,biological barriers between the administration site and the target site hinder the wider clinical adoption of nDDS in disease treatment.Polyethylene glycol(PEG)-modification(or PEGylation)has been regarded as the gold standard for stabilising nDDS in complex biological environment.However,the accelerated blood clearance(ABC)of PEGylated nDDS after repeated injections becomes great challenges for their clinical applications.Zwitterionic polymer,a novel family of antifouling materials,have evolved as an alternative to PEG due to their super-hydrophilicity and biocompatibility.Zwitterionic nDDS could avoid the generation of ABC phenomenon and exhibit longer blood circulation time than the PEGylated analogues.More impressively,zwitterionic nDDS have recently been shown to overcome multiple biological barriers such as nonspecific organ distribution,pressure gradients,impermeable cell membranes and lysosomal degradation without the need of any complex chemical modifications.The realization of overcoming multiple biological barriers by zwitterionic nDDS may simplify the current overly complex design of nDDS,which could facilitate their better clinical translation.Herein,we summarise the recent progress of zwitterionic nDDS at overcoming various biological barriers and analyse their underlyingmechanisms.Finally,prospects and challenges are introduced to guide the rational design of zwitterionic nDDS for disease treatment. 展开更多

On-Chip Micro Temperature Controllers Based on Freestanding Thermoelectric Nano Films for Low-Power Electronics

Multidimensional integration and multifunctional com-ponent assembly have been greatly explored in recent years to extend Moore’s Law of modern microelectronics.However,this inevitably exac-erbates the inhomogeneity of temperature distribution in microsystems,making precise temperature control for electronic components extremely challenging.Herein,we report an on-chip micro temperature controller including a pair of thermoelectric legs with a total area of 50×50μm^(2),which are fabricated from dense and flat freestanding Bi2Te3-based ther-moelectric nano films deposited on a newly developed nano graphene oxide membrane substrate.Its tunable equivalent thermal resistance is controlled by electrical currents to achieve energy-efficient temperature control for low-power electronics.A large cooling temperature difference of 44.5 K at 380 K is achieved with a power consumption of only 445μW,resulting in an ultrahigh temperature control capability over 100 K mW^(-1).Moreover,an ultra-fast cooling rate exceeding 2000 K s^(-1) and excellent reliability of up to 1 million cycles are observed.Our proposed on-chip temperature controller is expected to enable further miniaturization and multifunctional integration on a single chip for microelectronics. 展开更多

Ignition processes and characteristics of charring conductive polymers with a cavity geometry in precombustion chamber for applications in micro/nano satellite hybrid rocket motors

The arc ignition system based on charring polymers has advantages of simple structure,low ignition power consumption and multiple ignitions,which bringing it broadly application prospect in hybrid propulsion system of micro/nano satellite.However,charring polymers alone need a relatively high input voltage to achieve pyrolysis and ignition,which increases the burden and cost of the power system of micro/nano satellite in practical application.Adding conductive substance into charring polymers can effectively decrease the conducting voltage which can realize low voltage and low power consumption repeated ignition of arc ignition system.In this paper,a charring conductive polymer ignition grain with a cavity geometry in precombustion chamber,which is composed of PLA and multiwall carbon nanotubes(MWCNT)was proposed.The detailed ignition processes were analyzed and two different ignition mechanisms in the cavity of charring conductive polymers were revealed.The ignition characteristics of charring conductive polymers were also investigated at different input voltages,ignition grain structures,ignition locations and injection schemes in a visual ignition combustor.The results demonstrated that the ignition delay and external energy required for ignition were inversely correlated with the voltages applied to ignition grain.Moreover,the incremental depth of cavity shortened the ignition delay and external energy required for ignition while accelerated the propagation of flame.As the depth of cavity increased from 2 to 6 mm(at 50 V),the time of flame propagating out of ignition grain changed from 235.6 to 108 ms,and values of mean ignition delay time and mean external energy required for ignition decreased from 462.8 to 320 ms and 16.2 to 10.75 J,respectively.The rear side of the cavity was the ideal ignition position which had a shorter ignition delay and a faster flame propagation speed in comparison to other ignition positions.Compared to direct injection scheme,swirling injection provided a more favorable flow field environment in the cavity,which was beneficial to ignition and initial flame propagation,but the ignition position needed to be away from the outlet of swirling injector.At last,the repeated ignition characteristic of charring conductive polymers was also investigated.The ignition delay time and external energy required for ignition decreased with repeated ignition times but the variation was decreasing gradually. 展开更多

Oral cancer is a complex pathological process caused by a combination of exogenous factors represented by oncoviruses and endogenous factors represented by immune damage,individual DNA damage,and repair.Targeted treatment for oral cancer is based on the perspective of molecular genetics,which can not only reduce toxicity and increase efficacy,but also improve the quality of life of patients.This is the bottleneck that clinical oral cancer treatment needs to break through the most.Nanomaterials can exhibit a unique large molecular surface area,with relatively high surface reactivity and multiple surface active centers,resulting in strong adsorption capacity in molecular metabolism.There is a certain foundation in its application in the field of biology,but it has good tumor cytotoxicity and inhibition of proliferation in the treatment of oral cancer.This study reviews the application of nanomaterials in tumor prevention,treatment,and other fields,providing new ideas for the future treatment of this disease. 展开更多

一般的UP固化物往往存在韧性较差等问题,需要对其进行增韧改性。鉴于nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合材料表现出的优异力学性能,且目前未见有研究将其用于改性沥青,对nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青的配方(包括nano-SiO_(2)的种类、各类添加剂的掺量... 一般的UP固化物往往存在韧性较差等问题,需要对其进行增韧改性。鉴于nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合材料表现出的优异力学性能,且目前未见有研究将其用于改性沥青,对nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青的配方(包括nano-SiO_(2)的种类、各类添加剂的掺量等)进行研究,通过拉伸试验、离析试验等确定出nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青的最优配比。研究结果表明:nano-SiO_(2)/UP复合改性沥青中的A组分和B组分应由“先掺法”进行制备,其中A组分为UP、引发剂、偶联剂,B组分是由沥青、相容剂等外加剂组成的混合成分;其最优配比为m(A组分)∶m(B组分)=1∶2.6,其中A组分的成分为m(树脂)∶m(A型nano-SiO_(2))∶m(引发剂)∶m(偶联剂)=100∶3∶4∶3, B组分的构成为m(沥青)∶m(相容剂)=100∶4。 展开更多

In this paper, the main goal is to prepare silk fibroin nano-fiber, which is used for regenerated tissue applications. Silk scaffold nano-fibers made by electro-spinning technology can be used in regenerated tissue applications. The purpose of the research is to prepare a silk-fibroin nano-fiber solution for potential applications in tissue engineering. Using a degumming process, pure silk fibroin protein is extracted from silk cocoons. The protein solution for fibroin is purified, and the protein content is determined. The precise chemical composition, exact temperature, time, voltage, distance, ratio, and humidity all have a huge impact on degumming, solubility, and electro-spinning nano-fibers. The SEM investigates the morphology of silk fibroin nano-fibres at different magnifications. It also reveals the surface condition, fiber orientation, and fiber thickness of the silk fibroin nano-fiber. The results show that regenerated silk fibroin and nano-fiber can be used in silk fibroin scaffolds for various tissue engineering applications. 展开更多
