Chromium atom photolithography gratings are a promising technology for the development of nanoscale length standard substances due to their high accuracy,uniformity,and consistency.However,the inherent difference between the interaction of positive and negative frequency detuning standing wave field and the atoms can cause a difference in the adjacent peak-to-valley heights of the grating in positive and negative frequency detuning chromium atom lithography,which greatly reduces its accuracy.In this study,we performed a controlled variable growth simulation using the semi-classical theoretical model and Monte Carlo method with trajectory tracking and ballistic deposition methods to investigate the influence of key experimental parameters on the surface growth process of positive and negative frequency detuning atomic lithography gratings.We established a theoretical model based on simulation results and summarized empirical equations to guide the selection of experimental parameters.Our simulations achieved uniform positive and negative frequency detuning atomic lithography gratings with a period of 1/4 of the wavelength corresponding to the atomic transition frequency,and adjacent peak-to-valley heights differing by no more than 2 nm,providing an important theoretical reference for the controllable fabrication of these gratings. 展开更多

A model for the negative phase of ionospheric storms in middle latitudes is presented. It is assumed that there will be molecule enriched air in the thermosphere above the auroral oval during the period of the main phase of a magnetic storm. The molecule enriched air is carried to the middle latitudes by thermospheric neutral wind, and at the same time it diffuses away. When the molecule enriched air arrives at the F2 layer above a station, the electron loss rate in the F2 layer increases, the electron density decreases and then the negative phase at the station begins. We have calculated the variations of the fo F2 following magnetic storms for Manzhouli (29.5°N, 117.5°E), Freiburg (48°N, 07°E) and Billerica (43°N, 71°W) respectively. The results agree very well with typical events observed at the three stations and can be used to explain some average features of negative phase ionospheric storms in middle latitudes. 展开更多

Based on Mindlin plate models and Kirchhoff plate models,this study was concerned with the wave propagation characteristics in thick conventional and auxetic cellular structures,with the objective to clarify the effects of negative Poisson's ratio,shear factor and orthotropic mechanical properties on the dynamic behaviors of thick plates.Numerical results revealed that the predictions using variable shear factor in Mindlin plate models resulted in high wave frequencies,which were more significant for plates with negative values of Poisson's ratio.The present study can be useful for the design of critical applications by varying the values of Poisson's ratio. 展开更多
