m^(6)A modification of lncRNA in middle ear cholesteatoma

Objective:Middle ear cholesteatoma is a non-tumorous condition that typically leads to hearing loss,bone destruction,and other severe complications.Despite surgery being the primary treatment,the recurrence rate remains high.Therefore,exploring the molecular mechanisms underlying cholesteatoma is crucial for discovering new therapeutic approaches.This study aims to explore the involvement of N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)methylation in long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)in the biological functions and related pathways of middle ear cholesteatoma.Methods:The m^(6)A modification patterns of lncRNA in middle ear cholesteatoma tissues(n=5)and normal post-auricular skin tissues(n=5)were analyzed using an lncRNA m^(6)A transcriptome microarray.Gene Ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)pathway analyses were conducted to identify potential biological functions and signaling pathways involved in the pathogenesis of middle ear cholesteatoma.Methylated RNA immunoprecipitation(MeRIP)-PCR was used to validate the m^(6)A modifications in cholesteatoma and normal skin tissues.Results:Compared with normal skin tissues,1525 lncRNAs were differentially methylated in middle ear cholesteatoma tissues,with 1048 showing hypermethylation and 477 showing hypomethylation[fold change(FC)≥3 or<1/3,P<0.05].GO enrichment analysis indicated that hypermethylated lncRNAs were involved in protein phosphatase inhibitor activity,neuron-neuron synapse,and regulation ofα-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazole propionic acid(AMPA)receptor activity.Hypomethylated lncRNAs were associated with mRNA methyltransferase activity,secretory granule membrane,and mRNA methylation.KEGG analysis revealed that hypermethylated lncRNAs were mainly associated with 5 pathways:the Hedgehog signaling pathway,viral protein interaction with cytokines and cytokine receptors,mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling pathway,cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction,and adrenergic signaling in cardiomyocytes.Hypomethylated lncRNAs were mainly involved in 4 pathways:Renal cell carcinoma,tumor necrosis factor signaling pathway,transcriptional misregulation in cancer,and cytokine-cytokine receptor interaction.Additionally,MeRIP-PCR confirmed the changes in m^(6)A methylation levels in NR_033339,NR_122111,NR_130744,and NR_026800,consistent with microarray analysis.Real-time PCR also confirmed the significant upregulation of MAPK1 and NF-κB,key genes in the MAPK signaling pathway.Conclusion:This study reveals the m^(6)A modification patterns of lncRNAs in middle ear cholesteatoma,suggests a direction for further research into the role of lncRNA m^(6)A modification in the etiology of cholesteatoma.The findings provide potential therapeutic targets for the treatment of middle ear cholesteatoma.

The Impact of Sports Games on the Psychological Health of Middle School Students

This study conducted a 16-week comparative experiment with 160 students from Jinan No.5 Middle School in Shandong Province as the experimental subjects.During the implementation of the experiment,the subjects were divided into two groups:an experimental group and a control group.The experimental group was subjected to physical exercise interventions using sports game teaching methods during physical education class,while the control group followed traditional physical education teaching methods.The results showed that the psychological health status of the students in the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group after the experiment.The application of sports games helps to improve the psychological health of middle school students in the course of physical education,promoting a positive and forward direction in student psychology and is an effective means to enhance the psychological health level of middle school students.

An Investigation on the Influence of Middle School Students'Grammar Learning Self-efficacy on Their Learning Performance

In middleschool English teaching,grammar instruction has always been an important and challenging aspect.Due to the strong influence of grammar explanation in Chinese,learning English grammar may be affected by negative transfer from their native language,which could pose certain obstacles to English acquisition.Self-efficacy,as a major emotional factor influencing learners'internal regulation strategies,has attracted wide attention from researchers both domestically and internationally for its impact on learning performance.High self-efficacy helps learners develop a more positive mindset towards learning,thereby contributing to improved learning performance.Therefore,this study focuses on investigating the relationship between grammatical self-efficacy and learning performance of English grammar among middle school students.This research contributes to a complementary understanding of grammatical self-efficacy among educators,enhancing their teaching skills,and effectively guiding students to learn English grammar with a more positive and healthy mindset,presenting a future grammar instruction in middle school English teaching.

Integration of Mathematics History into Junior Middle School Education: A Pedagogical Approach to Enhance Mathematical Literacy

The integration of the history of mathematics into junior middle school mathematics education represents a significant focus of international research in mathematics and education.The mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education have emphasized the importance of incorporating the history of mathematics,aiming to gradually integrate it into the mathematics classroom.However,in the practical implementation of junior middle school mathematics education,the effective combination of the history of mathematics with teaching methodologies remains largely unexplored.This article explores the integration of junior middle school mathematics education and the history of mathematics,aiming to provide classroom teaching recommendations for teachers and promote the formation of students’mathematical literacy.

课后服务能提高中小学生的学业成绩吗——基于东中西部6省32个县(区)的调查

为满足学生多样化的教育需求,促进中小学生身心健康发展,课后服务在中小学全面推行。针对我国6省份32个县(区)的中小学课后服务的开展情况进行调查,探讨学生参加校内课后服务对学业成绩的影响,采用倾向值匹配法来解决选择性偏误的影响,结果显示:在控制了学生个人特征、学校背景和家庭因素等影响后,参加课后服务的学生比未参加课后服务的学生的数学成绩有显著提高;参加课后服务对城乡学生学业成绩的影响存在异质性。基于上述发现,课后服务应在以下方面做出改进:发挥课后服务育人功能,促进学生全面发展;完善激励保障机制,提高教师课后服务能力;保障农村课后服务有效开展,缩小城乡课后服务质量差距。

Non-suicidal self-injury in Shanghai inner bound middle school students

Background Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) behaviour is very common among adolescents. Its prevalence and behavioural characteristics may vary according to regional and cultural differences. Investigation of NSSI locations and diagnosis of adolescents with NSSI are relatively lacking in China. Aims The study objective was to determine the prevalence and features of NSSI among middle school students in Shanghai. Methods The participants were from grade 6 to 8 selected from three junior schools in Jing’an District. Consenting students completed the Ottawa Self-Injury Inventory to determine the prevalence and characteristics of NSSI. Those who indicated NSSI within the past month were administered the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview for Children and Adolescents to assess for emotional disorders. Result The result shows 510 participants (21.7%;mean age 13.51 (0.97) years old;56.7% female) reported at least one instance of NSSI during the previous 12 months. NSSI was significantly more common in girls than boys (24.9% vs 18.5%;χ^2=14.03, p=0.00). Commonly reported reasons for NSSI were for internal and external emotion regulation (87.9%, 82.3%) and social influence (57.8%). Anxiety disorders were the most common (28.9%) disorder associated with NSSI. Conclusion The rate of NSSI of middle school students in Shanghai inner bound is similar to those reported in North American and European youth. It is essential that school mental health professionals are aware of how to manage NSSI within the school setting.

450 nm蓝激光半导体治疗机6点位置定位法治疗中叶增生型良性前列腺增生的疗效观察

目的评估450 nm蓝激光半导体治疗机6点位置定位法治疗中叶增生型良性前列腺增生(BPH)的疗效及安全性,以期推广该术式的临床应用。方法回顾性分析2023年3月—8月在泰安市中心医院迎胜院区泌尿肾病激光治疗中心行450 nm蓝激光半导体治疗机6点位置定位法治疗20例中叶增生型BPH患者的临床资料,记录手术时间、术后膀胱冲洗时间、尿管留置时间、术后住院时间、手术并发症。比较患者术前及术后1个月最大尿流率(Qmax)、膀胱残余尿量(PVR)、生活质量评分(QoL)、国际前列腺症状评分(IPSS)变化情况。结果本组患者手术时间为(26.80±7.22)min,术后膀胱冲洗时间为(20.50±1.79)h,所有患者术后次日拔除导尿管,术后2 d顺利出院。与术前比较,患者术后1个月的Qmax显著升高[(7.40±1.05)mL/s vs.(19.60±1.76)mL/s]、PVR[(73.50±12.26)mL vs.(9.25±4.94)mL]、QoL[(4.55±1.19)分vs.(1.95±0.95)分]、IPSS[(26.55±1.88)分vs.(10.05±1.36)分]均显著降低,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。术中及术后1个月随访期间无任何并发症发生。结论450 nm蓝激光半导体治疗机6点位置定位法治疗中叶增生型BPH是一种新型、安全、有效的手术方式,值得在临床推广应用。

With the deepening of educational reform,interdisciplinary thematic learning,as an emerging educational model,has become a focus of attention in the field of educational research.Based on the STEM(science,technology,engineering,and mathematics)education concept and CASES-T(Content,Activity,Situation,Evaluation,Strategy-Target)model,this study provides a theoretical basis for the teaching design and implementation of interdisciplinary thematic learning in middle school physical education.Through the analysis of specific interdisciplinary thematic learning cases,it aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the reform of middle school physical education through the CASES-T model-based interdisciplinary thematic teaching design research in middle school physical education,in order to enhance students’learning effects,cultivate core literacy in physical education,and promote students’all-round development.

6395名中小学生脊柱侧弯情况调查分析

目的:分析探讨淄博市周村区中小学生脊柱侧弯检出率及相关影响因素,为开展脊柱侧弯异常早期干预和防治提供依据。方法:2023年2—3月对淄博市周村区6 395名中小学生进行脊柱侧弯筛查和问卷调查。结果:6 395名中小学生脊柱侧弯检出率为12.38%,男、女生脊柱侧弯检出率比较,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);不同年级学生脊柱侧弯检出率比较,差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=140.24,P<0.01),学生脊柱侧弯检出率随年级增长呈逐渐增高的趋势。小学、初中、职业高中学生脊柱侧弯检出率比较,差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=94.58,P<0.01)。脊柱侧弯异常程度以姿势不良、脊柱Ⅰ度弯曲为主,脊柱侧弯异常发生部位以胸段、胸腰段为主,随年级、学习阶段提高呈胸段—腰段—胸腰段异常率递增的趋势。实行年度脊柱侧弯筛查制度,采取脊柱侧弯综合防控干预措施后,脊柱侧弯异常率显著降低。结论:儿童青少年脊柱侧弯以非结构性脊柱侧弯为主,应严格执行未病先防、定期筛查、抓早抓小、已病早纠、协同管理原则,采取脊柱侧弯综合防控措施降低脊柱侧弯检出率,进一步提高儿童青少年的身心健康素质和卫生保健水平。

幼小衔接视角下教育戏剧提升6-7岁儿童口语表达能力的干预研究

教育戏剧活动是一种集戏剧表达、戏剧创作、戏剧表演为一体的综合性主题教育活动,其包含的多种教育元素能够有效促进儿童的社会能力、语言能力、情感态度等多方面的发展。为探究应用教育戏剧的口语训练活动对提升6-7岁儿童口语表达能力的影响,开展针对性教育实验,对刚升入小学一年级的86名儿童进行为期12周的教育干预。结果表明,教育戏剧活动能在倾听、表达、应对等维度有效提升儿童口语表达能力。主要建议:支持多向互动,为儿童创设宽松自由的表演环境;推进知行合一,积极应用教育戏剧范式充盈活动;支持幼小衔接,绘本资源入戏贴近儿童心理需求。

Video Games and School Performances of Dakar High School Students

The triptych (Smartphones, Video games, adolescents) has imposed itself on the collective consciousness in the form of questioning to the point of becoming a social phenomenon. It thus raises concerns about the uses that adolescents make of it and the effects on their academic performance, which we proposed to study among middle school students from the Dakar academy inspection. Where appropriate, we used mixed methods with the collection techniques of questionnaire survey, semi-structured interviews respectively with middle school students, adults (parents, supervisors, teachers, etc.), participant observation and literature review. Concretely, before accessibility to video games, the middle school students were more idle and well-behaved, watched a lot of TV, played with their brothers and sisters or did household chores. The majority of young people had good, very good or excellent conduct and their averages were fair, fairly good or good. With access to a diverse digital environment, middle school students have passionately turned to video games. As a result, their learning time, concentration and submission to parental injunctions have declined significantly. This situation negatively affected their academic performance and encouraged bad behavior.

5-6岁儿童入学学习准备评价指标体系的构建

幼儿园升入小学是儿童学习与生活中重要的里程碑事件,科学做好入学准备是儿童顺利度过幼小衔接的保障。运用文献分析法、访谈法等构建5-6岁儿童入学学习准备评价初始指标,采用德尔菲法对初始评价指标体系进行了两轮修订,经项目分析、探索性因素分析对评价指标体系进行验证,最后进行信效度检验,正式提出了由4个一级指标、14个二级指标、35个评价要点构成的5-6岁儿童入学学习准备评价指标体系。

学校氛围对3-6年级留守儿童焦虑的影响及其链式中介效应分析

为考察学校氛围对3-6年级留守儿童焦虑的影响机制以及心理素质和自尊在其间的作用,采用学校氛围量表、小学生心理素质问卷、自尊量表和广泛性焦虑量表对安徽省3451名3-6年级留守儿童进行集体施测。结果发现:(1)学校氛围、心理素质与自尊两两间显著正相关(r=0.39-0.54,p<0.001),学校氛围、心理素质、自尊分别与焦虑显著负相关(r=-0.17--0.16,p<0.001)。(2)学校氛围能有效预测3-6年级留守儿童心理素质(β=0.96,p<0.001)、自尊(β=0.06,p<0.001)和焦虑(β=-0.04,p<0.001)。(3)3-6年级留守儿童心理素质和自尊在学校氛围对焦虑的影响过程中起多重中介作用,其效应值占比总效应的12.5%。因此,营造良好的学校氛围,提高3-6年级留守儿童心理素质和自尊水平是减少3-6年级留守儿童焦虑的有效途径。

Research on Landscape Design in Middle School
