Radio sound is a key signal sound in Toni Morrison’s 2003 novel Love.The intertwining of memories and radio music constitutes an intriguing window on how radio sound serves as a vehicle for exploring the cultural and historical implications of African American women’s listening experiences with home radio,as is presented by Toni Morrison in her first new millennium novel Love.Far from a simple sonic link with the larger external world,radio sound in is a primary means for individual nostalgia,collective memory,and expression of auditory aesthetics.It is a mechanical sound which conveys a particular“black restorative nostalgia.”

A Clinical Study on the Effect of Group Nostalgia Therapy on Quality of Life and Cognitive Function in Elderly Patients with Depression

Background:Elderly people with depression require special care and attention.However,nostalgia is a complex emotional situation for a person who recalls the missing past.To improve mental health,quality of life,and attitudes toward aging in institutional care,group nostalgia therapy can be a nursing intermediary for the elderly.This study aimed to analyze the effect of group nostalgia therapy on quality of life cognitive function in elderly patients with depression.Methods:A total of 89 participants were enrolled in this study,which was further categorized into a control(n=40)and a nostalgia therapy group(n=49).A standard questionnaire was used to compare the QoL,MMSE and GDS scores between the control and the nostalgia therapy groups.Results:Neither the nostalgia group nor the control group showed any statistical difference based on the patient characteristics,and both groups had a homogeneous distribution with p<0.05.However,in the intervention with nostalgia therapy,the therapy group showed improvements in almost all four domains of quality of life:physical health,psychological,environmental and social well-being.Moreover,the standard regression residual plot observed that both the post-test scores of MMSE and GDS showed favorable scores with respect to WHO-QoL.Conclusion:The study observed that group nostalgia therapy helps improve the quality of life and cognitive function in elderly patients with depression.The study also concludes that reducing depressive symptoms through nostalgia therapy could improve all four domains of the WHOQoL BREF.

谈对《Nostalgia》一诗的理解和翻译

本文对发表在《中国翻译》1990年第 5期上的《评一首诗的两种译文》提出不同意见 ,认为杨传纬等三位先生对原诗的理解有误 ,其汉译均与原作相去甚远 ,现进行重译。

由Nostalgia说起

Nostalgia在现场演出时,经过雅尼和指挥罗哈尼共同改编,删去了中间一段仿佛描写家乡街道盘错又芳草萋萋的段落,留下了一开始仿佛黎明时分难眠的游子的思乡与后半段快马加鞭奔向家乡与近乡情怯的部分。这些,都是我的想象。如果家乡是一个人童年成长的地方,那么就需要定义童年。依照年龄定义,童年自然是参差不齐的。人一辈子都在成长,四处都可以是家乡。它还可以是指从出生以来与父母或者最亲切的亲人长时间居住的地方。

Theories and Practices of Remembering Nostalgia in New Urbanization

As the National Conference on New Urbanization proposed, "(new urbanization) should enable residents to see mountains and waters, and remember nostalgia". Nostalgia is a kind of memories and yearning deep in the heart for one's homeland or the place once lived in, it is the softest emotion and also a spiritual need. To keep nostalgia in new urbanization is to preserve history, culture, memories, and humanistic spirits of the homeland, and also to maintain local cultural genes and carry forward rural civilization. The foundation of remembering the nostalgia is to intensify culture protection. And by means of protecting cultural heritage and style of the traditional settlement practically, preserving cultural gene, inheriting cultural memory, creating cultural brand and characteristic landscape etc., the nostalgia can meet the spiritual demands of the residents, such as homesickness, life emotion, historical emotion and cultural emotion in the process of new urbanization. The key of remembering nostalgia is to promote the construction of small characteristic towns. Relying on on-site urbanization, the signifi cant ways of achieving new urbanization are star-studded layout of small towns and the construction of small characteristic tourism town. The construction of Hunan-style Tourism Town is a positive attempt and exploration of remembering nostalgia, and it contributes to the construction of a beautiful and poetic homeland for the human-centered new urbanization.

How to Retain the Nostalgia in Rural Tourism

Combined with the nostalgia generated in the urbanization and rapidly developing rural tourism in China,this paper firstly analyzed main reasons for generation of nostalgia,summarized prevailing problems in the development of rural tourism,and finally discussed how to retain the nostalgia in rural tourism.

Odysseus Away from Home: Analyzing Joyce’s Exile and Nostalgia from Dubliners

The thesis bases on James Joyce’s short story collection the Dubliners as the main text,supplemented by other works,and from a poetic perspective,focuses on the relationship between Joyce’s exile life and his nostalgia.Nostalgia is widespread,but its mental activity is not simple.Joyce wanders overseas,but his nostalgia is not directly expressed,and even shows his disgust with Ireland.The poetic interpretation of this contradictory phenomenon can help us understand Joyce’s personal ideas,literary thoughts,and feelings of home and country.And then,it may help us understand why exiled writers often have complex and contradictory feelings about their homeland.

Nostalgia in Michael Ondaatje's Running in the Family

While"running"in his family, as indicated by the title of this memoir, he gets to know about his relatives and their life styles at that time. And the most important thing for him is the desire to know and understand his father better, as well as learn more about the relationship between his father and his mother. Following this desire the narrator travels back to Sri Lanka in an attempt to retrace the stories of his family, an act which is imbued with feelings of nostalgia. In order to satisfy his yearning for his long lost homeland and his family, the narrator presents a romantic image of the Ondaatje family.

Food Nostalgia and the Contested Time

In this article, I examine several narratives that express nostalgia through the food of Nanjing, especially those representing the famous halal （qingzhen 清真） restaurant Ma Xiangxing 马祥兴 in order to investigate how narrative time can be manipulated in order to variously position and frame history. After outlining the context of prevalent cultural nostalgia in contemporary China, I begin with a publicity narrative generated by Ma Xiangxing. I then move on to literary representations by authors such as Wu Jingzi 吴敬梓, Huang Shang 黄裳, and Ye Zhaoyan 叶兆言. Finally, I look at ＂Nanjing 1912,＂ a high-end shopping and entertainment district that attempts to invoke the Republican era in order to attract consumers. As food nostalgia evolved from a rebellion against modernity to a marketing strategy in China, it has generated narratives that embody a mix of restorative and reflective nostalgia. A linear narration of history and tradition coexists with a circular narration that challenges its accuracy; thus, not only does originality eventually become a meaningless concept, but simulation also precedes and creates reality in the general commercialization of nostalgia in post-reform

忆往昔促进消费者宽恕:服务失误情境下怀旧对宽恕的影响及内在机制

服务失误不能避免,因此在服务失误时获得消费者宽恕具有重要理论和实践意义。怀旧能否促进消费者宽恕?本文探究通过怀旧营销激发怀旧情绪对消费者宽恕的影响及其内在机制。6个实验的结果显示,激发怀旧情绪提高消费者宽恕,这一影响由共情中介。品牌形象类型(能力型vs.温暖型)和服务失误的严重性起调节作用。本研究丰富了怀旧功能和宽恕前因的相关研究,为企业借助怀旧营销进行服务失误补救提供思路。

基于游客的上海郊区美丽乡村的乡愁测度研究

上海稀缺的乡村是都市人休闲放松的精神家园,也是“留住乡愁”的重要空间载体.乡愁测度研究对诊断现有的美丽乡村建设中是否“留住乡愁”有一定帮助.在前人乡愁测度量表的基础上,对上海乡村进行调研,经过探索性因素和验证性因素分析,上海美丽乡村乡愁测度的文化-情感-记忆三维度得以验证;得到体现上海特色的乡愁测度指标体系,并将其运用在上海美丽乡村乡愁测度上.结果显示:上海美丽乡村建设有一定乡愁体现,其中乡愁情感维度均分最高、文化维度均分最低;在情感维度上,不同年龄、不同文化层次的群体有显著差异;年龄与情感维度呈正相关关系,文化程度与情感维度呈负相关关系.本研究可为审视当下上海美丽乡村建设是否承载了乡愁以及今后美丽乡村的优化建设提供参考.

基于乡愁文化基因解码的乡村文旅融合路径研究

基于乡村居民视觉系统解析乡愁文化内涵,并探讨乡村文旅深度融合发展路径,是留住乡愁、助力乡村振兴的有效途径。借鉴生物学基因遗传研究中的逆转录提取法,结合扎根理论提取出乡愁文化的八大基因,进一步运用共现分析和社会网络分析法,探究乡愁文化基因的层级结构。研究发现:(1)乡愁文化基因包括家庭牵绊、乡村生活、自然景观、建筑风貌、劳作场景、文化记忆、地方节庆、传统技艺;(2)乡愁文化基因按照其重要程度呈现四大层级结构,结合功能属性将八大乡愁文化基因划分为主体基因、附着基因、混合基因、变异基因;(3)基于乡愁文化基因及其层次结构特征,最终提出四大乡村旅游融合发展的路径:主体基因决定旅游发展主题、附着基因指导旅游景观设计、混合基因融入旅游文化空间建设、变异基因指导文创产品开发。

怀旧需求视角下中国古籍文创产品情感化设计研究

目的 通过文创产品带动中国古代典籍文化的传承,将古籍文化推介给群众,助力古籍的保护和传播,探究将怀旧理论应用于中国古代典籍文创产品中的情感化设计策略。方法 基于中国古籍的发展现状和其文创产品在现阶段存在的问题,重点针对怀旧需求的层次和其对文创产品的触发机制进行分析,总结出怀旧需求融入文创产品的层次,包括感官植入层、触点再现层、情感修复层,并融合古籍的怀旧需求诱发因素,从质色味的延续、古籍情境重现、精神家园回归进行设计策略的探索。结论 将怀旧理论引入中国古代典籍文创产品中,更容易掌握使用者的核心关注点和情感需求,给古籍文化以更现代化的诠释,提升大众对中华优秀古籍的文化自信,推动中华优秀古籍文化的创新型传承发展。

地方感知视角下非物质文化遗产景区品牌评价研究

非物质文化遗产景区品牌化已成为获取竞争优势的重要途径,旅游者对塑造成功品牌具有关键驱动作用,如何提升旅游者品牌评价值得深入探讨。该文以非遗景区品牌建设为背景,基于571份游客有效问卷数据,探索游客个人怀旧倾向、非遗旅游体验质量与景区品牌评价之间的关系,并纳入地方性感知探讨其内在机制。结果表明:旅游者的非遗旅游体验质量与个人怀旧倾向均对景区品牌评价产生显著正向影响,地方性感知发挥部分中介作用;旅游者个人怀旧倾向对非遗旅游体验质量具有显著正向影响,非遗旅游体验质量在个人怀旧倾向与地方性感知、景区品牌评价的关系间起部分中介作用。围绕非遗产品对景区品牌的增值作用,形成对“非遗进景区”的产品选择、文化塑造及体验提升等方面的相关启示与建议,将是促进非遗景区品牌长远发展的重要考量。

怀旧情绪对游客文明旅游行为意愿的影响研究——以福州市烟台山历史风貌区为例

以福州市烟台山历史文化风貌区为例,通过构建结构方程模型,从怀旧情绪出发,以旅游体验价值和地方依恋作为中介变量,探析游客文明旅游行为意愿的形成机制。研究结果显示:(1)怀旧情绪显著地正向影响旅游体验价值、地方依恋和游客文明旅游行为意愿;(2)旅游体验价值对地方依恋和游客文明旅游行为意愿存在显著的正向促进作用;(3)地方依恋对旅游体验价值存在显著的正向影响、而对文明旅游行为意愿则没有直接影响作用;(4)旅游体验价值和地方依恋分别在怀旧情绪对游客文明旅游行为意愿的影响机制中起中介作用,且路径“怀旧情绪→旅游体验价值→地方依恋→文明旅游行为意愿”和路径“怀旧情绪→地方依恋→旅游体验价值→文明旅游行为意愿”的链式中介效应均显著。
