Qinghai_Xizang Plateau, a unique geographic unit due to high_altitude climate, is one of the most susceptible regions to climate warming. Its ecosystem is very fragile and sensitive to climate change. In order to get a better understanding of the impacts of climate warming on the nutrient contents of herbage grown in Qinghai_Xizang Plateau, a simulative study was implemented at Daban Moutain by using temperature differences resulted from sites selected at different altitudes and nutrient contents and in vitro digestibility were determined for assessing the quality of the grown herbage. There were significant downtrends in crude protein (CP), ether extract (EE) and nitrogen free extract (NFE) contents of herbage along with the increase of temperature. It had a positive correlation between temperature and content of acid detergent fibre (ADF), acid detergent lignin (ADL) in herbage. In vitro digestibility of herbage decreased along with the increase of temperature. The results of this study indicated that climate warming significantly influence nutrient contents and in vitro digestibility of herbage grown in Qinghai_Xizang Plateau. It is suggested that the future climate warming especially the gradual rise of the night temperature could cause negative effect on herbage quality grown in Qinghai_Xizang Plateau by decreasing CP, EE, and NFE contents and increasing some indigestible ingredients such as crude fibre (CF), neutral detergent fibre (NDF), ADF, and ADL. This, consequently, decreases the ruminant assimilation ability.展开更多

The contents of N, P, K, and organic matter in biogas slurry of straw were determined in different storage times. The results showed that: during the pro-cess of biogas slurry storage, little change occurred in the content of the organic matter while the total content of N, P, K significantly declined; up to 50 days, the total content of N, P, K reduced to nearly 80%-90%. Because the contents of N, P, K in biogas slurry reduced less in airtight storage conditions so that a better re-sult was found on airtight storage methods than open storage methods in fertilizer field of biogas slurry of straw.展开更多

However, the effects of different planting and mulching patterns on soil nutrient content and enzymatic activity have not been well documented. In this study, we examined the impact of four planting and mulching patterns(including control, flat planting without mulching; M1, flat planting with film mulching; M2, ridge-furrow planting with film mulching on both ridges and furrows; and M3, ridge-furrow planting with film mulching on continuous ridges) on the seed yield of winter oilseed rape, soil moisture, soil temperature, soil organic carbon(SOC) content, soil nutrient content, and soil enzymatic activity over three growing seasons from 2012 to 2015 in a winter oilseed rape field in the semi-arid area of Northwest China. Seed yield of winter oilseed rape, soil moisture, soil temperature, enzymatic activities, and contents of nitrate-nitrogen, available phosphorus, and available potassium were all significantly higher in mulching treatments(M1, M2 and M3) than in control treatment over the three growing seasons, whereas SOC content was significantly lower in mulching treatments than in control treatment during 2013–2014 and 2014–2015. Among the three mulching treatments(M1, M2 and M3), the M3 treatment showed consistently higher seed yield, SOC content, nutrient contents, and enzymatic activities than the other two treatments. Seed yield of winter oilseed rape was 41.1% and 15.0% higher in M3 than in M1 and M2, respectively. SOC content and soil enzymatic activities in the top 0–20 cm soil layers and nitrate-nitrogen content in the top 0–30 cm soil layers were all significantly higher in M3 than in M1 and M2. Therefore, we advise the ridge-furrow planting with film mulching on continuous ridges(i.e., M3) as an efficient planting and mulching pattern for sustainably improving the seed yield of winter oilseed rape and preserving soil fertility in the semi-arid area of Northwest China.展开更多

It is very diifficult to measure these variables on-line by existing instruments and sensors. So, soft-sensor technique becomes an indispensable method to implement real-time quality control. In this article, a new model of multi-inputs multi-outputs (MIMO) soft-sensor, which is constructed based on hybrid modeling technique, is proposed for these interactional variables. Data-driven modeling method and simplified first principle modelingmethod are combined in this model. Data-driven modeling method based on limited memory partial least squares(LM-PLS) al.gorithm is used to build soft-senor models for some secondary variables.then, the simplified first principle model is used to compute three primary variables on line. The proposed model has been used in practicalprocess; the results indicate that the proposed model is precise and efficient, and it is possible to realize on line quality control for compound fertilizer process.展开更多

The biomass and the nutrient element contents for different organs (root, stem, leaf) of cutting seedling of Liriodendron chinense x tulipifera were measured by the dry method, Kjeldahl method and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy method. The result showed that the biomass of root, stem, and leaf of the cutting seedling treated with auxin was all remarkably increased. The contents of element C in root, stem and leaf had no significant difference between the control and auxin treatments, while the contents of N, P, K and Ca in stem were much lower than that in leaf and root. Variance analysis showed that for the same organ with different concentration treatment of auxin, the four nutrient elements (N, P, K, and Ca) had no significant difference in contents, while there existed significant or very significant difference in contents of the four nutrient elements in different organs with the same concentration auxin treatment. The N, P, K and Ca contents were very low in cutting seedlings; as a result, additional fertilizer should be applied to the seedlings when they were planted in the field.展开更多

Using rice cultivar Xiangzaoxian45 as experimental materials, the experiment was performed by designing 6 treatments, i.e., T1 (fertilization without nitrogen), T2(local conventional fertilization), T3(fertilization for high yield and high effi-ciency), T4 (fertilization for super high yield), T5 (fertilization application for super high yield and high efficiency A) and T6 (fertilization application for super high yield and high efficiency B) in two experimental plots Yiyang and Xiangyin. The results showed that T3 respectively increased the contents of chlorophyl and carotenoid at fil ing stage by 29.27%, 38.20% and 13.16%, 30.12% in Yiyang and Xiangyin, as wel as yield of early rice by 4.20%, 4.80% to T2 on the condition of saving 20% ni-trogen fertilizer. Additional y, T5 and T6 on the condition of saving 16.7% nitrogen fertilizer by T4 increased the contents of chlorophyl and carotenoid of fil ing stage by 53.91%, 53.73% and 35.95%, 37.47% in Yiyang and Xiangyin, as wel as yield of early rice by 16.60%, 18.75% to T2 in Yiyang; increased the contents of chlorophyl and carotenoid at fil ing stage by 57.82%, 56.80% and 54.88%, 57.03% in Yiyang and Xiangyin, as wel as yield of early rice 10.10%, 6.75% to T2 in Xiangyin. More-over, there was a significant correlation or an extremely significant correlation be-tween yield and the contents of chlorophyl and carotenoid at different soil fertility level (P〈0.05 or P〈0.01). Therefore, nutrient application plays an important role in the contents of chlorophyl and carotenoid in the functional leaves of early rice.展开更多

Development of high soil fertility and productivity is the management goal of paddy field, Fertilization and management practices have not only influenced the status of organic matter and nutrients in the soil but also affected the environmental quality. This article investigates the contents of organic carbon and the nutrients, and the change over the last 20 years in highly productive paddy soils and their environmental application. Field soils were sampled and the analytical results were compared with the corresponding values in the Second Soil Survey in Yujiang County of Jiangxi Province, China. The results showed that surface soils at a depth of 0-10 cm in highly productive paddy fields in Yujiang County of Jiangxi Province had contents of organic carbon (20.2 ±3.88) g kg^-1, total nitrogen (2.09±0.55) g kg^-1, and available phosphorus (42.7 ±32.7) mg kg^-1, respectively, which were all at very rich levels. Over the last 20 years, the organic carbon pool of the highly productive paddy soils reached a steady state. Total N and available P significantly increased, whereas available K changed a little. The amount and percentage of P immobilization in the surface soil (0-10 cm) of highly productive paddy fields were (142.7 ~ 41.1) mg kg-~ and (36.2~ 10.4)% of added P, and CEC (7.93 ~ 1.32) cmol kg-~. These two parameters were not higher than the mean values of paddy soils and upland red soils in the areas. Results also showed that fertilizer P in highly productive paddy soils had a high mobility and was prone to move toward a water body, which is the main source of nutrients causing eutrophication. Because of a weak K-fixing capacity, the available K content was not high in highly productive paddy soils. This suggests that attention should be paid to the K balance and the increase of soil K pool.展开更多

The four types of fermented nori SLF used in this study were prepared by anaerobic fermentation of unwashed nori (SLF1), aerobic fermentation of unwashed nori (SLF2), anaerobic fermentation of washed nori (SLF3), and aerobic fermentation of washed nori (SLF4). Komatsuna seeds treated with 200-, 300-, and 400-fold dilutions of SLFs exhibited improved relative germination ratios (RGRs) at 3 and 4 days after sowing (DAS). At 4 DAS, the RGRs of seeds treated with 10-, 100-, 200-, 300-, and 400-fold SLF dilutions showed no differential effect. Seeds treated with undiluted SLFs did not germinate by 4 DAS. SLF1 may promote komatsuna seed germination. The nitrogen (N), calcium, magnesium, sodium (Na), and iodine (I) contents of plants treated with SLF1 were significantly increased relative to plants treated with the other SLFs. Moreover, the I and Na contents of plants were significantly increased by foliar spray application of different dilutions of SLF1. However, SLF treatment markedly reduced the shoot dry weight compared with 1/2-strength modified Hoagland nutrient (MHN) solution, although the same amounts of N and K were applied. SPAD values of the plants treated with SLFs were significantly higher than those of plants treated with MHN. Foliar treatment with SLFs had no significant effect on plant growth, SPAD value, or uptake of nutrients (except Na) relative to the control, but the I content was increased. Plants treated with SLF1 and SLF2 exhibited the highest Na uptake. Foliar spray treatments with SLF1 resulted in the highest I contents in plants. Based on our results, SLF1 is suitable for use as a liquid fertilizer to promote germination and increase nutrient content in komatsuna. These results need to be followed up in soil experiments in the presence of microbes in the rhizosphere.展开更多

Rice genotype greatly affected the grain K content, but not significantly for P, Mg, Zn, Cu, Pb, Fe and Mn contents. There were remarkable effects of additional Cd on the contents of P, Mg and Zn in grains, while not significant for K, Cu, Pb, Fe and Mn contents. No significant differences were found in the interaction of genotype by additional Cd on these nine element contents. The low grain Cd accumulation genotype Xiushui 217 had significantly higher grain K, Mg, Cu and Mn contents than the high grain Cd accumulation genotype Xiushui 63, but the case was opposite for Zn, Pb and Fe contents. It also showed that Cd addition levels significantly influenced the K, P, Mg, Zn, Cu, Pb, Fe and Mn contents in rice grains. Grain K, P, Mg, Zn, Fe and Mn contents reduced with the increasing rate of Cd addition.展开更多

In this paper, the effects of biochar based fertilizer on the nutrient content of acidic soil and corn yield in Heilongjiang province were studied. The random block design was adopted, and seven treatments were set with four repetitions. The results showed that biochar based fertilizer increased the soil organic matter content in the mature stage of maize. The S1 (The biochar biobased fertilizer treatment 1 in acid soil), S2 (The biochar biobased fertilizer treatment 2 in acid soil), and S3 (The biochar biobased fertilizer treatment 3 in acid soil) treatments organic matter contents increased by 15.96%, 11.06% and 10.03% than SCK (The Acid Soil Control Check) respectively. The total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium, total calcium of S1 treatment corn plants increased 16.81%, 15.34%, 31.20% and 22.96% than SCK. The S1 treatment increased the yield of corn, which was 1.94% higher than SCK. There was no significant difference between the yield of S2, S3 with SCK treatments, which achieved the effect of fertilization reducing.展开更多

The nutrients affecting the total ester content of jujube wine were glutamine, arginine, calcium chloride and biotin by Plackett-Burman design. Through the steepest ascent test,it was determined that the central points of the optimum addition of nutrients were glutamine 40 mg/L,arginine 50 mg/L,calcium chloride 35 mg/L and biotin 0. 25 mg/L,respectively.Through Box-Behnken experiment design, taking glutamine, arginine, calcium chloride and biotin as experimental factors, and the content of total ester in jujube wine as response value, the response surface optimization experiment was carried out and the verification experiment was also carried out. It was found that the response surface model can be used to predict the total ester content of jujube wine when nutritional elements were added. When the content of total ester in jujube wine was the highest, the optimal combination of nutrients was glutamine38. 8 mg/L,arginine 53. 8 mg/L,calcium chloride 35. 7 mg/L and biotin 0. 3 mg/L. At this point, the content of total ester in jujube wine was 628 mg/L,which was very close to the predicted value. Through the sensory evaluation of jujube wine,it was found that adding nutrients could help to improve the taste of jujube wine, and the fermentation method of jujube wine by adding nutrients was simple and feasible.展开更多

文摘Film mulching system is a widely employed agricultural practice worldwide. Therefore, we advise the ridge-furrow planting with film mulching on continuous ridges(i.e., M3) as an efficient planting and mulching pattern for sustainably improving the seed yield of winter oilseed rape and preserving soil fertility in the semi-arid area of Northwest China.

文摘In compound fertilizer production, several quality variables need to be monitored and controlled simultaneously. The proposed model has been used in practicalprocess; the results indicate that the proposed model is precise and efficient, and it is possible to realize on line quality control for compound fertilizer process.

文摘The cutting seedlings of Liriodendron chinense x tulipifera were treated with the different concentrations of auxin (treatment1: IBA of 50 gkg-1 + NAA of 300 gkg-1; treatment2: IBA of 100 gkg-1 + NAA of 300 gkg-1). The N, P, K and Ca contents were very low in cutting seedlings; as a result, additional fertilizer should be applied to the seedlings when they were planted in the field.

文摘The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of different nutri-ent application models on the contents of chlorophyl and carotenoid in the functional leaves of early rice. Therefore, nutrient application plays an important role in the contents of chlorophyl and carotenoid in the functional leaves of early rice.

文摘Paddy field is an important land use in subtropical China. This suggests that attention should be paid to the K balance and the increase of soil K pool.
文摘We conducted plant growth experiments in microbe-free vermiculite to study the effects of four types of fermented seaweed liquid fertilizer (SLF) made from nori (Pyropia yezoensis) seaweed on the germination, plant growth characteristics, SPAD value, and nutrient content and uptake of komatsuna (Brassica rapa L. var. wakana komatsuna). These results need to be followed up in soil experiments in the presence of microbes in the rhizosphere.

文摘A pot experiment was conducted to study the effects of Cd on grain Cd, K, P, Mg, Zn, Cu, Pb, Fe and Mn accumulation in two rice genotypes (Xiushui 63 and Xiushui 217) differing in grain Cd accumulation under four Cd levels, i.e. 0, 0.5, 2.5 and 12.5 mg/kg. Grain K, P, Mg, Zn, Fe and Mn contents reduced with the increasing rate of Cd addition.

文摘Different light wavelengths have specific effects on plant growth and development.Narrow-bandwidth light-emitting diode(LED)lighting may be used to directionally manipulate size, color and metabolites in high-value fruits and vegetables. In this report,Red Russian kale(Brassica napus)seedlings were grown under specific light conditions and analyzed for photomorphogenic responses, pigment accumulation and nutraceutical content. The results showed that this genotype responds predictably to darkness, blue and red light, with suppression of hypocotyl elongation, development of pigments and changes in specific metabolites. However, these seedlings were relatively hypersensitive to far-red light, leading to uncharacteristically short hypocotyls and high pigment accumulation, even after growth under very low fluence rates(,1 mmol m^(-2) s^(-1)).General antioxidant levels and aliphatic glucosinolates are elevated by far-red light treatments.Sequential treatments of darkness, blue light, red light and far-red light were applied throughout sprout development to alter final product quality. These results indicate that sequential treatment with narrow-bandwidth light may be used to affect key economically important traits in high-value crops.
文摘Unreasonable fertilizer input and low fertilizer utilization seriously restrict the development of maize in Heilongjiang province. There was no significant difference between the yield of S2, S3 with SCK treatments, which achieved the effect of fertilization reducing.

文摘Using jujube juice prepared from red jujube as raw material and Saccharomyces cerevisiae as experimental strain, the effect of nutrients on the content of total ester in jujube wine was studied. Through the sensory evaluation of jujube wine,it was found that adding nutrients could help to improve the taste of jujube wine, and the fermentation method of jujube wine by adding nutrients was simple and feasible.
文摘The expansion of fast-growing tree plantations is a worldwide process, with consequences on soil fertility and soil carbon storage.Disparate results were found on the effects of afforestation with Eucalyptus on soil carbon and other nutrient contents. These discrepancies are usually caused by differences in climate, land use history, soil texture as well as by management related factors such as plantation age, number of rotations, method of establishment(plantation or coppice),harvest residue management and soil preparation. We studied the effect of plantation age, number of rotations, and method of establishment on soils and plant nutrient concentrations in Eucalyptus grandis plantations in NE Argentina on different textured soils. We also determined if yields changed with nutrient variations in soils, and compared soils under plantations to soils under grasslands they replaced.Thirty-one E.grandis stands of different ages, number of rotations and method of establishment were evaluated as well as eight grassland sites.Levels of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium were determined for soils and plants.Soil carbon and nitrogen decreased over the number of rotations and were more pronounced in soils with 50-60%sand than soils with>75%sand.Coppice stands showed higher soil carbon and nitrogen levels than plantations, suggesting a negative effect of site preparation before planting on soil nutrient conservation, especially in fine-textured soils.Foliar nutrient concentrations did not follow the trends observed for soil nutrients nor did they reflect nutrient limitations. There was no evidence of decreased yields over successive rotations.Soil carbon and nitrogen contents decrease when grasslands are replaced by E.grandis plantations, and therefore a yield limitation may occur in a medium to long-term frame, especially in stands re-established for short-rotation management.Harvest residue management and site preparation must be specifically designed for improving soil nutrient management.
