In this paper,a second-order fnite-diference scheme is investigated for time-dependent space fractional difusion equations with variable coefcients.In the presented scheme,the Crank-Nicolson temporal discretization an...In this paper,a second-order fnite-diference scheme is investigated for time-dependent space fractional difusion equations with variable coefcients.In the presented scheme,the Crank-Nicolson temporal discretization and a second-order weighted-and-shifted Grünwald-Letnikov spatial discretization are employed.Theoretically,the unconditional stability and the second-order convergence in time and space of the proposed scheme are established under some conditions on the variable coefcients.Moreover,a Toeplitz preconditioner is proposed for linear systems arising from the proposed scheme.The condition number of the preconditioned matrix is proven to be bounded by a constant independent of the discretization step-sizes,so that the Krylov subspace solver for the preconditioned linear systems converges linearly.Numerical results are reported to show the convergence rate and the efciency of the proposed scheme.展开更多

The derivation and validation of analytical equations for predicting the tensile initial stiffness of threadfixed one-side bolts(TOBs),connected to enclosed rectangular hollow section(RHS)columns,is presented in this ...The derivation and validation of analytical equations for predicting the tensile initial stiffness of threadfixed one-side bolts(TOBs),connected to enclosed rectangular hollow section(RHS)columns,is presented in this paper.Two unknown stiffness components are considered:the TOBs connection and the enclosed RHS face.First,the trapezoidal thread of TOB,as an equivalent cantilevered beam subjected to uniformly distributed loads,is analyzed to determine the associated deformations.Based on the findings,the thread-shank serial-parallel stiffness model of TOB connection is proposed.For analysis of the tensile stiffness of the enclosed RHS face due to two bolt forces,the four sidewalls are treated as rotation constraints,thus reducing the problem to a two-dimensional plate analysis.According to the load superposition method,the deflection of the face plate is resolved into three components under various boundary and load conditions.Referring to the plate deflection theory of Timoshenko,the analytical solutions for the three deflections are derived in terms of the variables of bolt spacing,RHS thickness,height to width ratio,etc.Finally,the validity of the above stiffness equations is verified by a series of finite element(FE)models of T-stub substructures.The proposed component stiffness equations are an effective supplement to the component-based method.展开更多

The lateral vibration of the microresonator was modeled assuming that the symmetry of the microstructures and the applied loads are different. Methods were given to calculate the stress, lateral displacement, spring coefficient, and resonant frequency. The results show that the simple mechanical model is a superfluous system with three unknown variables. The results differ from pervious results for a microresonator suspended from double-side straight-leg beams, which has been commonly used to design linear microvibromotors.展开更多
The split-Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)is a widely used experimental technique for studying the mechanical properties of materials at high strain rates.There are two kinds of loading methods applied in the SHPB techniq...The split-Hopkinson pressure bar(SHPB)is a widely used experimental technique for studying the mechanical properties of materials at high strain rates.There are two kinds of loading methods applied in the SHPB technique,namely one-side loading and symmetric loading.However,the experimental accuracy of the two loading methods is affected by the interface contact.The present study focused on the inadequate contact caused by the misalignment of the pressure bars.The commercial software ABAQUS was used for simulations.The result shows that the inadequate contact caused by the alignment of the bars has a non-negligible effect on the calculated results.Compared with the one-side loading Hopkinson pressure bar,the symmetric loading Hopkinson pressure bar has a more relaxed requirement for the alignment of the bars.The conclusion arrived at in this paper can help researchers to make a reasonable choice between one-side and symmetric loading Hopkinson pressure bars according to actual requirements.展开更多

A necessary and sufficient condition with respect to the growth of barrier is also explored to ensure the existence of a solution. And, we show that the solutions may be approximated by the penalization method and by some sequences of solutions of reflected BSDEs. These results are obtained due to the development of those existing ideas and methods together with the application of new ideas and techniques, and they unify and improve some known works.展开更多
Early investigations of dielectric permittivity of rigid polyurethane foams at low frequencies were made on petrochemical-origin foams,mainly by means of parallel plate capacitors.In the present investigation biopolyo...Early investigations of dielectric permittivity of rigid polyurethane foams at low frequencies were made on petrochemical-origin foams,mainly by means of parallel plate capacitors.In the present investigation biopolyol was synthesized from Latvia-grown rapeseeds’oil by the transesterification method with triethanolamine,in an environmentally friendly process,without emission of harmful substances,at temperatures 175℃±5℃.Rigid,closed-cell rapeseed oil polyol polyurethane biofoams and petrochemical foams were made ensuring content of the renewable rapeseed oil polyol in ready foams 27 wt.%–29 wt.%.Dielectric permittivity of the polyurethane foams and the underlying monolithic petrochemical-origin polyurethane and biopolyurethane was measured with a non-destructive dielectric spectrometer equipped with a capacitive sensor of one-side access type at 16 discrete frequencies distributed geometrically over the band 10 Hz,…,330 kHz.Permittivity value of the gaseous phase in the closed-cells was estimated to beεg≈1.001 that corresponds to the values,characteristic for the most of gases.Dielectric permittivity of petrochemical polyurethane foams and the mentioned biofoams was compared with permittivity of polyurethane foams from industrial producers Sika JSC and General Plastics Manufacturing Co.Polyurethane foams of the developed formulation exhibit competitive,low dielectric permittivity,not exceeding that of the foams from industrial producers:petrochemical foams up to 550 kg/m^(3) and the mentioned biofoams,comprising the renewable rapeseed oil polyol,up to densities 230–250 kg/m^(3).Considering petrochemical-origin polyurethane foams as a heterogeneous media“Polymer—gaseous phase”,the applicability of the rule of mixture and Maxwell–Garnett equation to model mathematically the dependence of effective dielectric permittivity on the volume fraction of phases was showed.展开更多

文摘The high-tech industry is highlighted for advanced techniques,substantial capital investment,and smart talents.But their effective combination can not be achieved in the development of high-tech industry,which impedes its industrialization.Meanwhile,an effective mechanism is needed to develop the high-tech industry healthily.The aim of this paper is to explore the integration model of base,project,and talent which is presented and served as a new road for high-tech industry development as well as prove this model rational.Some results of the model are appealing.Firstly,start-ups in the park have the higher success probabilities;secondly,higher expected return attracts talents to join into start-ups in park;thirdly,side payment is the inner incentive to initiate this high-tech industry integration model.
文摘This paper addresses the practical stabilization problem for a class of one-sided Lipschitz nonlinear time delay systems with external disturbances.In case there is no perturbation,the exponential convergence of the observer was confirmed.When external disturbances appear in the system,a separation principle is established,and the authors show that the closed loop system is exponentially practical stable.By choosing a suitable Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional,the authors derive new sufficient conditions to guarantee the exponential stability of the systems.Finally,a physical model is performed to prove the efficiency and applicability of the suggested approach.

文摘We give a necessary and sufficient condition for the fundamental group homomorphism of a map between CW-complexes(manifolds) to induce partial homology equivalences. As applications, we obtain characterizations of fundamental groups of homology spheres and Moore manifolds. Moreover, a classification of one-sided h-cobordism of manifolds up to diffeomorphisms is obtained, based on Quillen's plus construction with Whitehead torsions.
