The equation of required magnetic core volume is obtained by taken into account the optimal matching mode. It indicates that a great reduction on the volume is feasible under the optimal matching mode. The circuit simulation code-PSPICE is also introduced to simulate a 3-stage magnetic pulse compressor, and the results are in accordance with those of equivalent circuit analyses.展开更多
Control parameter optimization is an efficient way to improve the endurance of underwater gliders(UGs),which influences their gliding efficiency and energy consumption.This paper analyzes the optimal matching between ...Control parameter optimization is an efficient way to improve the endurance of underwater gliders(UGs),which influences their gliding efficiency and energy consumption.This paper analyzes the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle and proposes a segmented control strategy of Petrel-L.The optimization of this strategy is established based on the gliding range model of UG,which is solved based on the approximate model,and the variations of the optimal control parameters with the hotel load are obtained.The optimization results indicate that the segmented control strategy can significantly increase the gliding range when the optimal matching between the net buoyancy and the pitching angle is reached,and the increase rate is influenced by the hotel load.The gliding range of the underwater glider can be increased by 10.47%at a hotel load of 0.5 W.The optimal matching analysis adopted in this study can be applied to other UGs to realize endurance improvement.展开更多

The sinter quality is important for its performance in a blast furnace,and optimizing ore matching is a main way to ensure the quality and yield of sinter ore and to reduce the cost of ore matching.The research on opt...The sinter quality is important for its performance in a blast furnace,and optimizing ore matching is a main way to ensure the quality and yield of sinter ore and to reduce the cost of ore matching.The research on optimizing ore matching for a 550 m2sintering machine in Shougang Jingtang was carried out in this paper. Firstly,based on the condition of iron ore resourse in Shougang,sintering properties of various ores,especially the high temperature properties were researched,and basic structure of ore matching was determined according to the mutual complementary properties of assimilation and liquid phase fluidity among Australia ore,Brazilian ore and domestic concentrates,that was Australian ore(50%-60%) + Brazilian ore(40%-30%) + domestic concentrates(about 10%).Secondly,9 groups of ore matching schemes were designed and sintering pot tests were carried out,and then the starting scheme of the 550 m2sintering machine was obtained:ore from southern Brazil (20%) +ore from northern Brazil(10%) + semi-limonite(20%) + limonite ore(35%) + domestic concentrates (15%).Thirdly,experiment of optimizing parameters of optimizing basicity,lime ratio,water addition and bed depth were carried out,and 9 groups of ore matching schemes were designed.The results showed that parameters fit for Jingtang currently are as follows:binary basicity is 1.9 - 1.95,lime ratio and water addition is 5%and 7.0% respectively;sintering bed should increase to 800 mm gradually.At last,Jingtang sintering plant was put into production successfully and yields stably,with the bed depth of 800 mm and advanced sintering indexes.展开更多

In recent years,the discovery of rare earth calcium oxyborates has resulted in the renewal in the field of SFD crystal.ReCaO(BO 3) 3(ReCOB)is a new type of novel nonlinear optical crystals which is nearly congruently melt and can be grown with Czochralski method.ReCOB crystals possess high nonlinear coefficients and damage thresholds.They are non hydroscopic and easy cutting and polishing.They belong to monoclinic with point group m and space group cm.The strong anisotropy originated from the low symmetry makes the measurement and application of the crystal more complicated.More than half of naturally existed crystals belongs to low symmetry,consequently,the research on the nonlinear and anisotropic laser optical properties are not only important for ReCOB crystal,but also useful for the applications of other low symmetry crystals.展开更多

Increasing the power density and overload capability of the energy-supply units(ESUs)is always one of the most challenging tasks in developing and deploying legged vehicles,especially for heavy-duty legged vehicles,in...Increasing the power density and overload capability of the energy-supply units(ESUs)is always one of the most challenging tasks in developing and deploying legged vehicles,especially for heavy-duty legged vehicles,in which significant power fluctuations in energy supply exist with peak power several times surpassing the average value.Applying ESUs with high power density and high overload can compactly ensure fluctuating power source supply on demand.It can avoid the ultra-high configuration issue,which usually exists in the conventional lithium-ion battery-based or engine-generator-based ESUs.Moreover,it dramatically reduces weight and significantly increases the loading and endurance capabilities of the legged vehicles.In this paper,we present a hybrid energy-supply unit for a heavy-duty legged vehicle combining the discharge characteristics of lithium-ion batteries and peak energy release/absorption characteristics of supercapacitors to adapt the ESU to high overload power fluctuations.The parameters of the lithium-ion battery pack and supercapacitor pack inside the ESU are optimally matched using the genetic algorithm based on the energy consumption model of the heavy-duty legged vehicle.The experiment results exhibit that the legged vehicle with a weight of 4.2 tons can walk at the speed of 5 km/h in a tripod gait under a reduction of 35.39%in weight of the ESU compared to the conventional lithium-ion battery-based solution.展开更多

Aiming at the detection failure of strong noise interference in the dual channel of the dual-sequence frequency hopping(DSFH),the scale transformation stochastic resonance(STSR)is applied for the first time,and the ou...Aiming at the detection failure of strong noise interference in the dual channel of the dual-sequence frequency hopping(DSFH),the scale transformation stochastic resonance(STSR)is applied for the first time,and the output signal to noise ratio(SNR)is raised effectively,at the same time,the symbol reception is completed for DSFH at low input SNR.Firstly,the radio frequency(RF)and intermediate frequency(IF)signals are analyzed based on the super-heterodyne reception of DSFH;secondly,the equations of probability density function(PDF),output power spectrum and SNR of the STSR output are derived for the IF signal;finally,the algorithm of the optimal matching STSR is proposed with the optimal matching parameters.The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively solve the detection failure,as the global output SNR of DSFH is strongly improved that the output SNR can reach-17.72 d B when the input SNR is-20 d B after the processing of the optimal matching STSR.展开更多

It is observed that sufficient peak gains and broader bandwidths can be achieved with a small negative anomalous dispersion(β2≤ 0) and a positive value of the 4th-order dispersion parameter(t β4)around the pump. We can optimize an FOPA with a bandwidth of more than 220 nm around the communications wavelength.展开更多

In contrast to the optical communication systems based on amplitude, frequency, or phase detection, the proposed scheme uses the radii ratio between the principle ring and the first sidelobe of the CSMOV.Therefore, the demand of stringent alignment and/or accurate phase matching is released. We design and optimize a composite computer-generated hologram to generate a CSMOV with four topological charges(TCs).Extracted from the images captured by a CCD camera, the radii ratio between the principle ring and the first sidelobe of different TCs are consistent with the theoretical values.展开更多
