BMR (basal metabolic rate), body mass and organ masses of tree sparrows (Passer montanus) were measured to analyze the correlation between organ masses and BMR in tree sparrows, and to evaluate the underlying physiological causes of difference in BMR. Adult tree sparrows were live-trapped by mist net in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province (47°29′N, 124°02′E). The closed circuit respirometer was used to measure the metabolic rate (MR), and controlled the ambient temperature by using a water bath (±0.5℃). Body masses were measured to the nearest 0.01 g before and after BMR measurements with a Sartorius balance (model BT25S). The mean value was recorded as body mass. Wet and dry masses of several organs were measured, too. BMR was (4.276± 0.385) mL O2/(g·h) and mean body mass was (18.522±0.110) g. Since not all the variables were normal distributed, a log10- transformation of those variables was employed to linearize them, prior to analyses. Simple regression analyses indicated that most organ masses showed a significant high correlation with body mass. Both the small intestine and rectum masses were notable exception to that trend. The body-mass-adjusted residual analysis showed that only the kidney wet mass, brain mass, stomach mass, small mass and rectum wet mass correlated with BMR. In addition, correlations between several organ masses and BMR were observed. Because of the inter-correlations of organ masses, a principal component analysis (PCA) was performed to redefine the morphological variability. The first four components whose eigenvalues were greater than 1 could explain 75.2% variance of BMR. The first component, whose proportion reached 30.19%, was affected mainly by stomach mass, small intestine mass and rectum mass. One such cue, photoperiod, plays an important role in the seasonal acclimatization of birds. It has been demonstrated that an animal's body mass, basal metabolic rate (BMR), and energy intake, are all affected by photoperiod. The present study was designed to examine photoperiod induced changes in the body mass, metabolism and metabolic organs of the silky starling, Stumus sericeus. Captive silky starlings increased their body mass and BMR during four weeks of acclimation to a short photoperiod. Birds acclimated to a short photopedod also increased the mass of certain organs (liver, gizzard and small intestine), and both gross energy intake (GEl) and digestible energy intake (DEI), relative to those acclimated to a long photoperiod. Furthermore, BMR was positively correlated with body mass, liver mass, GEl and DEI. These results suggest that silky starlings increase metabolic thermogenesis when exposed to a short photoperiod by increasing their body and metabolic organ mass, and their GEl and DEI. These findings support the hypothesis that bird species from temperate climates typically display high phenotypic flexibility in thermogenic capacity. 展开更多

Fine particle of organic aerosol (OA), mostly arising from pollution, are abundant in Beijing. To achieve a better un- derstanding of the difference in OA in summer and autumn, a high-resolution time-of-flight aerosol mass spectrometer (HR- ToF-AMS, Aerodyne Research Inc., USA) was deployed in urban Beijing in August and October 2012. The mean OA mass concentration in autumn was 30 4-30 μg m-3, which was higher than in summer (13 4-6.9 μg m-3). The elemental anal- ysis found that OA was more aged in summer (oxygen-to-carbon (O/C) ratios were 0.41 and 0.32 for summer and autumn, respectively). Positive matrix factorization (PMF) analysis identified three and five components in summer and autumn, re- spectively. In summer, an oxygenated OA (OOA), a cooking-emission-related OA (COA), and a hydrocarbon-like OA (HOA) were indentified. Meanwhile, the OOA was separated into LV-OOA (low-volatility OOA) and SV-OOA (semi-volatile OOA); and in autumn, a nitrogen-containing OA (NOA) was also found. The SOA (secondary OA) was always the most important OA component, accounting for 55% of the OA in the two seasons. Back trajectory clustering analysis found that the origin of the air masses was more complex in summer. Southerly air masses in both seasons were associated with the highest OA loading, while northerly air masses were associated with the lowest OA loading. A preliminary study of OA components, especially the POA (primary OA), in different periods found that the HOA and COA all decreased during the National Day holiday period, and HOA decreased at weekends compared with weekdays. 展开更多

A series of mass mortalities of the cultured blood clam, Tegillarca granosa, occurred in the Yueqing Bay of China from 2005 to 2009. An obligate intracellular prokaryote, designated as rickettsia-like organism (RLO), was frequently found in the moribund or dead blood clam sample during ultra- structural examination. These organisms were usually round, ellipsoid or occasionally dumbbell- shaped, ranged from approximately 0.28 to 0.71 #m in size and had a trilaminar cell wall. Two reproductive modes of organisms, transverse binary fission and budding, were observed. The or- ganisms were able to form eosinophilic inclusions. Most inclusions were found within epithelial and connective tissues of the mantle, gills and digestive tube. The biological and morphological char- acteristics indicate that these organisms may belong to the family Rickettsiaceae. RLOs exhibited significant pathogenicity. Cytopathological examinations revealed extensive necrosis and destruc- tion in the infected cell. The degree of tissue destruction was positively related to the number of RLO inclusions in the tissues, and the cytopathological effects were positively related to the number of intracellular RLO. RLOs and their inclusions were discovered throughout different disease areas and in different time periods. The infection intensity of the RLOs was positively correlated with the mortality rate of clams. Therefore, RLO infection might be associated with mass mortalities of cultured blood clams in the Yueqing Bay. 展开更多

目的 分析苗药五香血藤对痛风性关节炎大鼠体质量及脏器指数的影响,并探讨苗药五香血藤对痛风性关节炎的可能作用机制。方法 本次研究时间:2019年7月-2022年12月,研究对象为60只大鼠,通过尿酸盐诱导建立急性痛风性关节炎大鼠模型,随机... 目的 分析苗药五香血藤对痛风性关节炎大鼠体质量及脏器指数的影响,并探讨苗药五香血藤对痛风性关节炎的可能作用机制。方法 本次研究时间:2019年7月-2022年12月,研究对象为60只大鼠,通过尿酸盐诱导建立急性痛风性关节炎大鼠模型,随机将其分为6组并对其实施不同措施,包括空白对照组(10只)、模型对照组(10只)、低剂量组(10只,五香血藤63mg/kg)、中剂量组(10只,五香血藤126mg/kg)、高剂量组(10只,五香血藤252mg/kg)、秋水仙碱组(10只,秋水仙碱0.3mg/kg),分析不同模型大鼠的各项指标变化。结果 空白对照组与秋水仙碱组无大鼠死亡,其余各组不同程度存在大鼠死亡情况;与空白对照组相比,其余各组大鼠的脏器指数与体重发生不同程度变化,与模型对照组相比,不同用药治疗后大鼠在脏器指数与体重变化特点方面有所不同。与空白对照组相比,不同模型大鼠出现炎症因子水平的升高,其中中等剂量苗药五香血藤对痛风性关节炎大鼠炎症因子抑制情况同秋水仙碱基本一致,低剂量、高剂量苗药五香血藤对痛风性关节炎大鼠炎症因子抑制效果有限,不如中剂量苗药五香血藤(P<0.05)。结论 不同剂量苗药五香血藤对痛风性关节炎大鼠体质量及脏器指数的影响不同,同时对炎症因子的抑制效果也有所不同,选择中等剂量苗药五香血藤能够更好地抑制急性痛风性关节炎模型大鼠的炎症因子,同时保证对肝脏、脾脏与肾脏的影响,后续应持续加大对这一方面的研究,为苗药五香血藤治疗痛风性关节炎提供参考。 展开更多

Background: Acclimatization to winter conditions is an essential prerequisite for the survival of small birds in the northern temperate zone.Changes in photoperiod,ambient temperature and food availability trigger seasonal physiological and behavioral acclimatization in many passerines.Seasonal trends in metabolic parameters are well known in avian populations from temperate environments;however,the physiological and biochemical mechanisms underlying these trends are incompletely understood.In this study,we used an integrative approach to measure variation in the thermogenic properties of the male Silky Starling(Sturnus sericeus) at different levels or organization,from the whole organism to the biochemical.We measured body mass(Mb),basal metabolic rate(BMR),energy budget,the mass of selected internal organs,state 4 respiration and cytochrome c oxidase(COX) activity in the heart,liver and muscle.Methods: Oxygen consumption was measured using an open-circuit respirometry system.The energy intake of the birds were then determined using an oxygen bomb calorimeter.Mitochondrial state 4 respiration and COX activity in heart,liver and pectoral muscle were measured with a Clark electrode.Results: The results suggest that acclimatization to winter conditions caused significant change in each of the measured variables,specifically,increases in Mb,organ mass,BMR,energy intake and cellular enzyme activity.Furthermore,BMR was positively correlated with body mass,energy intake,the mass of selected internal organs,state 4 respiration in the heart,liver and muscle,and COX activity in the heart and muscle.Conclusions: These results suggest that the male Silky Starling's enhanced basal thermogenesis under winter conditions is achieved by making a suite of adjustments from the whole organism to the biochemical level,and provide further evidence to support the notion that small birds have high phenotypic plasticity with respect to seasonal changes. 展开更多

为研究干燥方式对香椿挥发性风味物质的影响,利用气相色谱-离子迁移谱技术(gaschromatography-ion mobility spectrometry,GC-IMS)和气相色谱-质谱联用技术(gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,GC-MS)、相对香气活性值(relative odor... 为研究干燥方式对香椿挥发性风味物质的影响,利用气相色谱-离子迁移谱技术(gaschromatography-ion mobility spectrometry,GC-IMS)和气相色谱-质谱联用技术(gas chromatography-mass spectrometry,GC-MS)、相对香气活性值(relative odor activity value,ROAV)对真空冷冻干燥、热泵干燥、热风干燥、微波真空干燥的香椿样品进行挥发性成分分析,并进一步结合化学计量方法主成分分析(principal component analysis,PCA)和偏最小二乘判别分析(partial least squares-discriminant analysis,PLS-DA),探究样品间挥发性成分的差异性。结果表明,通过GC-IMS检测到78个峰,鉴定出59种化合物。通过GC-MS鉴定出94种挥发性化合物,主要挥发性成分是硫化物、烯烃类和醛类。经过干燥后总挥发性化合物的含量显著降低。通过ROAV法确定了(E,Z)-二-1-丙烯基二硫化物、2-巯基-3,4-二甲基-2,3-二氢噻吩、正己醛、2-己烯醛、丁香酚等为香椿样品中关键香气化合物。PCA和PLS-DA结果表明,不同干燥方式的样品与新鲜样品有明显的分离,彼此之间也有明显的区别。鲜样和真空冷冻干燥样品为一组,其他3个干燥香椿样品为一组。根据变量投影重要性(variable importance in projection,VIP)得分共筛选出10种(VIP>1)标志挥发性化合物。干燥方式对香椿风味特性影响显著,真空冷冻干燥组与鲜样最为接近,考虑实际应用热泵干燥为香椿最适宜的脱水方式。本研究为热加工过程中风味品质控制提供一定的理论参考。 展开更多

本研究建立了一种电化学-质谱(EC-MS)法高通量分析土壤样品中的金属组分和有机物。首先,根据理化性质,将土壤样品中的金属组分和有机物组分分为水溶态、脂溶态、难溶态和可氧化态等4种形态;然后,分别采用萃取、反应、电解等方式对4种形... 本研究建立了一种电化学-质谱(EC-MS)法高通量分析土壤样品中的金属组分和有机物。首先,根据理化性质,将土壤样品中的金属组分和有机物组分分为水溶态、脂溶态、难溶态和可氧化态等4种形态;然后,分别采用萃取、反应、电解等方式对4种形态组分进行在线顺次提取;将提取后的组分在线传输至电喷雾电离源进行离子化,随后进行正、负离子模式检测。实际样品分析结果表明,该方法成功检测出土壤样品中多种水溶态金属盐和有机物(如Mg、Cr、Ni、Zn、Co、Cu、Al、Pb等多种水溶性金属盐,尿素及多种有机胺)、20多种脂溶态有机羧酸、以及难溶态金属盐(Mg、Ni、Cr、Pb、Co)和可氧化态(Cu、Pb)。该方法可为环境评估和环境治理提供技术支持。 展开更多

基于微纳米气泡臭氧曝气的饮用水厂有机物强化处理技术研究

为提升饮用水厂原水混凝及前/后臭氧处理等重要工艺段的有机物去除率,对比研究了微纳米气泡(MNBs)与普通曝气盘2种曝气方式下的臭氧传质效率,开展了MNBs对水厂原水混凝效果影响小试,并对2种曝气方式下前/后臭氧处理工艺段有机物及藻类... 为提升饮用水厂原水混凝及前/后臭氧处理等重要工艺段的有机物去除率,对比研究了微纳米气泡(MNBs)与普通曝气盘2种曝气方式下的臭氧传质效率,开展了MNBs对水厂原水混凝效果影响小试,并对2种曝气方式下前/后臭氧处理工艺段有机物及藻类等的去除率进行研究。结果表明:1)本研究中的微气泡发生器产生纳米气泡数量为1.2×10^(8)个/mL,中值粒径显著低于100μm,有利于MNBs臭氧(MNBs-O_(3))在水中停留较长时间;在水厂原水中加入12.5%(体积比)的MNBs水时,MNBs吸附疏水性有机物及产生羟基自由基的特征可以显著提高混凝沉淀效果,使UV254下降幅度达到15%。2)在前臭氧处理过程中,原水经MNBs-O_(3)处理后,出水110 kDa峰消失而小于1 Da部分出现新峰,五日生化需氧量(BOD5)的去除率约为15%(远低于普通曝气盘的50%)且总有机碳与UV254未发生显著变化;在后臭氧处理过程中,MNBs-O_(3)处理后BOD5上升了40%,TOC上升了36%,UV254则先上升后下降。该结果说明MNBs-O_(3)在前臭氧处理过程中可以将芳香族有机物分解为含氧类链状有机物,MNBs-O_(3)较长的停留时间使其更易将大分子有机物转换为小分子有机物,而后臭氧处理过程中MNBs-O_(3)可以进一步提高对水中残留的难降解有机物的去除率。3)MNBs-O_(3)对藻类的去除率可达25%,且MNBs-O_(3)处理不会增加水中溴酸盐浓度,后续可借助MNBs的气浮功能进一步提升其效率。尽管MNBs替代普通曝气盘使电能消耗上升约30%,但MNBs会大幅缩短进气时间,减少O_(3)使用量。本研究结果为MNBs在原水混凝及前/后臭氧处理过程中的应用建立了理论基础。 展开更多

汽提净化水回用原油电脱盐是炼化企业重要的节水措施。本研究基于气相色谱-质谱和静电场轨道阱高分辨质谱组合分析,从微观层次上探究了汽提净化水回用电脱盐过程的溶解性有机物转移特征。电脱盐过程中,汽提净化水有13种芳香胺类、34种... 汽提净化水回用原油电脱盐是炼化企业重要的节水措施。本研究基于气相色谱-质谱和静电场轨道阱高分辨质谱组合分析,从微观层次上探究了汽提净化水回用电脱盐过程的溶解性有机物转移特征。电脱盐过程中,汽提净化水有13种芳香胺类、34种含氮杂环类、13种中长链烷基酚类和1种醚类化合物转移到油相,对油品品质影响轻微,对油品收率有所促进,同时可将电脱盐污水的有机负荷总量降低约50%。原油中的8种环烷酸类、7种含氧杂环类、3种短链烷基酚类、504种低不饱和度的O_(2)、O_(4)、O_(3)S_(1)和N_(1)O_(3)类以及186种高不饱和度的O_(4)S_(1)和N1O_(2)类化合物转移到水相,使得电脱盐污水的有机污染组成更为复杂,急性生物毒性更强。本研究对于掌握高浓度点源污水的水质特性、提高炼化企业污水管控水平具有指导意义。 展开更多

金属有机框架材料(MOF)因其具有高比表面积、丰富孔隙率、孔径可调的优点,受诸多学者关注,被认为是用于吸附分离的理想吸附剂。但是在实际应用中,大部分微孔MOF材料在吸附过程中的内在传质速率严重受限,而且构建多级孔的方法一般不具有... 金属有机框架材料(MOF)因其具有高比表面积、丰富孔隙率、孔径可调的优点,受诸多学者关注,被认为是用于吸附分离的理想吸附剂。但是在实际应用中,大部分微孔MOF材料在吸附过程中的内在传质速率严重受限,而且构建多级孔的方法一般不具有普遍性。本文介绍了调节剂策略、模板策略、后处理策略等构建多级孔MOF的方法,制备了兼具介孔、大孔的多级孔材料,并结合应用场景评价各方法的优缺点,以获得在相对温和条件下构建孔径可调的多级孔MOF的普适性策略。针对多级孔MOF材料在气体吸附分离领域的应用问题,着重剖析了构建多级孔MOF对CO_(2)气体吸附提升的案例,发现多级孔的构建增加了孔径,提高了MOF的比表面积,提供了额外的孔通道,使气体分子的吸附容量和传质速率得到提升,表明多级孔MOF在气体吸附分离方面有优异的性能。最后讨论了多级孔MOF合成和应用存在的问题,并对多级孔MOF面临的合成过程绿色可重复等挑战进行了展望。 展开更多
