It effectively combines the quantitative analysis with space analysis, mixes the feature of the land-use data and figure de scription, achieves the mutual transfer of the data and figure, and provides some effective methods for the quantitative research and space analysis. The targets, methods and procedures of the overall design of LUIS and its structure function and characteristic are presented in this paper. Electric vertical takeoff and landing(eVTOL)aircraft have emerged as a potential alternative to the existing transportation system,offering a transition from two-dimensional commuting and logistics to three-dimensiona...Electric vertical takeoff and landing(eVTOL)aircraft have emerged as a potential alternative to the existing transportation system,offering a transition from two-dimensional commuting and logistics to three-dimensional mobility.As a groundbreaking innovation in both the automotive and aviation sectors,eVTOL holds significant promise but also presents notable challenges.This paper aims to address the overall aircraft design(OAD)approach specifically tailored for eVTOL in the context of Urban Air Mobility(UAM).In contrast to traditional OAD methods,this study introduces and integrates disciplinary methodologies specifically catered to eVTOL aircraft design.A case study is conducted on a tilt-duct eVTOL aircraft with a typical UAM mission,and the disciplinary performance,including initial sizing,aerodynamics,electric propulsion systems,stability and control,weight,mission analysis and noise,is examined using the OAD methodologies.The findings demonstrate that the current approach effectively evaluates the fundamental aircraft-level performance of eVTOL,albeit further high-fidelity disciplinary analysis and optimization methods are required for future MDO-based eVTOL overall aircraft design.展开更多

As the mission needs of the autonomous underwater vehicles(AUV) have become increasingly varied and complex,the AUVs are developing in the direction of systematism, multifunction, and clustering technology, which prom...As the mission needs of the autonomous underwater vehicles(AUV) have become increasingly varied and complex,the AUVs are developing in the direction of systematism, multifunction, and clustering technology, which promotes the progress of key technologies and proposes a series of technical problems. Therefore, it is necessary to make systemic analysis and in-depth study for the progress of AUV's key technologies and innovative applications. The multi-functional mission needs and its key technologies involved in complex sea conditions are pointed out through analyzing the domestic and foreign technical programs, functional characteristics and future development plans. Furthermore, the overall design of a multi-moving state AUV is proposed. Then, technical innovations of the key technologies, such as thrust vector, propeller design, kinematics and dynamics, navigation control, and ambient flow field characteristics, are made, combining with the structural characteristics and motion characteristics of the new multi-moving state AUV. The results verify the good performance of the multi-moving state AUV and provide a theoretical guidance and technical support for the design of new AUV in real complex sea conditions.展开更多

First, the abutment pressure calculation model of the gob in side di...An investigation was conducted on the overall burst-instability of isolated coal pillars by means of the possibility index diagnosis method(PIDM). First, the abutment pressure calculation model of the gob in side direction was established to derive the abutment pressure distribution curve of the isolated coal pillar. Second, the overall burst-instability ratio of the isolated coal pillars was defined. Finally, the PIDM was utilized to judge the possibility of overall burst-instability and recoverability of isolated coal pillars.The results show that an overall burst-instability may occur due to a large gob width or a small pillar width. If the width of the isolated coal pillar is not large enough, the shallow coal seam will be damaged at first, and then the high abutment pressure will be transferred to the deep coal seam, which may cause an overall burst-instability accident. This approach can be adopted to design widths of gobs and isolated coal pillars and to evaluate whether an existing isolated coal pillar is recoverable in skip-mining mines.展开更多
