Ensuring high product quality is of paramount importance in pharmaceutical drug manufacturing,as it is subject to rigorous regulatory practices.This study presents a research focused on the development of an on-line d...Ensuring high product quality is of paramount importance in pharmaceutical drug manufacturing,as it is subject to rigorous regulatory practices.This study presents a research focused on the development of an on-line detection method and system for identifying surface defects in pharmaceutical products packaged in aluminum-plastic blisters.Firstly,the aluminum-plastic blister packages exhibit multi-scale features and inter-class indistinction.To address this,the deep semantic network with boundary refinement(DSN-BR)model is proposed,which leverages semantic segmentation domain knowledge,to accurately segment the defects in pixel level.Additionally,a specialized image acquisition module that minimizes the impact of ambient light is established,ensuring high-quality image capture.Finally,the image acquisition module,image detection module,and data management module are designed to construct a comprehensive online surface defect detection system.To validate the effectiveness of our approach,we employ a real dataset for instance verification on the implemented system.The experimental results substantiate the outstanding performance of the DSN-BR,achieving the mean intersection over union(MIoU)of 90.5%.Furthermore,the proposed system achieves an inference speed of up to 14.12 f/s,while attaining an F1-Score of 98.25%.These results demonstrate that the system meets the actual needs of the enterprise and provides theoretical and methodological support for intelligent inspection of product surface quality.By standardizing the control process of pharmaceutical manufacturing and improving the management capability of the manufacturing process,our approach holds significant market application prospects.展开更多

Ingestion of contaminated foodstuffs is, in fact, the most relevant form of exposure to this substance. However, scarce data on the presence of this contaminant in milk, or whether different types of food packaging influence food contamination are available in Brazil. This study, therefore, aimed to evaluate the BPA contamination of whole milk (fluid and powder) samples packaged in different types of packaging (Tetra Pak?;PET: Poly (ethylene terephthalate;Metallic can (epoxy resin);Polyethylene (PE) and poly (vinylidene chloride) (PVDC);Laminated Film - Metallized Polyester-Polyethylene and glass) and marketed metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. An analytical method for the BPA determination in milk was optimized for both fluid (pasteurized and ultra-high temperature) and powdered milk samples. A modified QuEChERS method was applied, and BPA determinations were conducted by ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with sequential mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS). The Siwalik Belt is a frontal fold\|thrust belt of the Himalayas and composed of thick sequence of foreland basin sediments derived from the Himalayas during the last 15 to 17 million years.From this Miocene belt in t...The Siwalik Belt is a frontal fold\|thrust belt of the Himalayas and composed of thick sequence of foreland basin sediments derived from the Himalayas during the last 15 to 17 million years.From this Miocene belt in the central Nepal,we discovered exotic thrust packages of the Middle Proterozoic rocks,which has been regarded as the Siwalik Group or post\|collisional sediments correlatable with the Subathu or Murree Formation in India.The thrust belt,called the Bagmati Belt,is narrowly distributed in the Siwalik Belt,22km to the north of the Main Frontal Thrust (MFT or HFF) that is an active fault and considered to be the deformation front of the Himalayan orogen.The Main Boundary Thrust (MBT) which separates the Siwalik Belt from the Lesser Himalayan Belt runs 7km to the north of the thrust packages.Within the belt,tectonic slices of 400m to 1km in thickness are repeated three to five times due to thrusts,sandwiching a thin slice of the Siwalik beds.The thrust package consists of the pre\|Siwalik sedimetary rocks and sills of dolerite,and named as the Bagmati Group.The thickness is only about 800m due to tectonic repition by thrust,although the group has been considered to be a continuous sequence attaining 2200m in thickness.We divided the Bagmati Group into three formations,each of which shows an upward\|coarsening and thickening sequence of 200 to 350m in thickness.All sequence is composed of red\|brown orthoquartzite,pink quartzite,micaceous shale and thin sandstone interbed and rhythmite,mottled hematite and hematitic pisolite.We interpret that the Bagmati Group was deposited in shallow lacustrine and desert environments.展开更多

Par...Several food companies are implementing effective strategies to evaluate the environmental impacts of their products or processes and to estimate the greenhouse gases emissions (GHG) using a life cycle approach. Particularly, a sector which can play an important role to reduce the impact on the environment through the life cycle thinking is the beverage packaging. In this context, the aim of this study was to use the life cycle assessment (LCA) method to investigate the consistency of the preference order across two alternative beverage packages through the application of two impact assessment methods, namely the IPCC 2007 which is focused on the GHG emissions estimation and the EcoIndicator 99 which considers several environmental categories including impact on climate change. The results showed that the life cycle approach employment was a useful strategy to investigate the consistency of the preference order across two beverage packages, especially, whether the results are made more reliable by the utilization of primary data. The investigation on climate change conducted on two level, initially, the quantification of the GHG emissions and secondly the estimation of the related diseases and mortality, demonstrated that the laminated carton presents lower impacts than the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottle.展开更多

How to effectively use the multi-energy demand elasticity of users to bid in the multi-energy market and formulate multi-energy retail packages is an urgent problem which needs to be solved by integrated energy servic...How to effectively use the multi-energy demand elasticity of users to bid in the multi-energy market and formulate multi-energy retail packages is an urgent problem which needs to be solved by integrated energy service providers(IESPs)to attract more users and reduce operating costs.This paper presents a unified clearing of electricity and natural gas based on a bi-level bidding and multi-energy retail price formulation method for IESPs considering multi-energy demand elasticity.First,we propose an operating structure of IESPs in the wholesale and retail energy markets.The multi-energy demand elasticity model of retail-side users and a retail price model for electricity,gas,heat and cooling are established.Secondly,a bi-level bidding model for IESPs considering multi-energy demand elasticity is established to provide IESPs with wholesale-side bidding decisions and retail-side energy retail price decisions.Finally,an example is given to verify the proposed method.The results show that the method improves the total social welfare of the electricity and natural gas markets by 7.99%and the profit of IESPs by 1.40%.It can reduce the variance of the electricity,gas,and cooling load curves,especially the reduction of the variance of the electricity load curve can which reach 79.90%.It can be seen that the research in this paper has a positive effect on repairing the limitations of integrated energy trading research and improving the economics of the operation of IESPs.展开更多

In recent years, several promising composite materials with high thermal conductivity have been developed successfully for high performance electronic equipment to replace the traditional Kovar and Cu/W or Cu/Mo alloys, such as SiCp/Al, SICp/Cu, diamond/Al and diamond/Cu. However, these materials with high content of reinforcements have not been widely used in packaging field because they are hard to be machined into complex-shaped parts due to their greater hardness and brittleness. So, it is necessary to explore a near-net shape forming technology for these composites. These constructs were verified using Application Softwar...In this paper we study how organizational learning impacts organizational behavior, and how vendor support quality enhances product adoption and usage behavior. These constructs were verified using Application Software Packages (ASP) - a prewritten, precoded, commercially available set of programs that eliminates the need for individuals or organizations to write their own software programs for certain functions. The relationship between ASP usage, usage outcomes and use processes were also investigated. Two hundred and ninety-five Chinese, Indian, and Malay entrepreneurships were studied. It was found that usage outcome strongly determines usage, while use process has only an indirect relationship (via outcome) on usage. The impact of organizational learning and vendor service quality on usage, usage outcome, and use process were robust. Theoretical and practical implications of the research are discussed.展开更多
In order to determine the theoretical minimum clamping pressure required in carton clamp handling of heavyweight corrugated package(HCP)such as large packages or unitized agricultural product packages,a numerical mode...In order to determine the theoretical minimum clamping pressure required in carton clamp handling of heavyweight corrugated package(HCP)such as large packages or unitized agricultural product packages,a numerical model of clamping pressure was developed.To develop the model,the dynamic load factor was measured at the handling test course which was designed on the basis of actual handling environment of the target HCP.Also,the static-frictional coefficients between the HCPs and between the HCP and a rubber contact pad of carton clamp arm were analyzed.The main factors in the developed numerical model of clamping pressure were the handling load weight and the effective contact area of the carton clamp arm.In addition,field tests were performed to validate the theoretical minimum clamping pressure calculated from the model.Averaged slip distance from the single package and two packages handling was estimated as a 3.2 mm through field test,and it is expected that the 3.2 mm slip distance will be acceptable for a safe operation in the handling environment.The suggested analytical approach with the numerical model can be a useful means for estimating the clamping pressure of the carton clamps used to handle the HCP.展开更多

Refactoring is regarded as an effective way to address this problem. Many refactoring approaches at the method and class level have been proposed. But the research on software refactoring at the package level is very little. This paper presents a novel approach to refactor the package structures of object oriented software. It uses software networks to represent classes and their dependencies. It proposes a constrained community detection algorithm to obtain the optimized community structures in software networks, which also correspond to the optimized package structures. And it finally provides a list of classes as refactoring candidates by comparing the optimized package structures with the real package structures. The empirical evaluation of the proposed approach has been performed in two open source Java projects, and the benefits of our approach are illustrated in comparison with the other three approaches.展开更多

Testing and performance evaluation in an on-the-fly manner is also a troublesome task for a production system. In this paper, we discuss a package management scheme based on containers. The newly developed method can ease the maintenance complexity and reduce human mistakes. We can benefit from the self-containing and isolation features of container technologies for maintaining the software packages among intricately connected clusters. By deploying the Super Computing application Strore(SCStore) over the WAN connected world-largest clusters, it proved that it can greatly reduce the effort for maintaining the consistency of software environment and bring benefit to achieve automation.展开更多

文摘The Siwalik Belt is a frontal fold\|thrust belt of the Himalayas and composed of thick sequence of foreland basin sediments derived from the Himalayas during the last 15 to 17 million years.From this Miocene belt in the central Nepal,we discovered exotic thrust packages of the Middle Proterozoic rocks,which has been regarded as the Siwalik Group or post\|collisional sediments correlatable with the Subathu or Murree Formation in India.The thrust belt,called the Bagmati Belt,is narrowly distributed in the Siwalik Belt,22km to the north of the Main Frontal Thrust (MFT or HFF) that is an active fault and considered to be the deformation front of the Himalayan orogen.The Main Boundary Thrust (MBT) which separates the Siwalik Belt from the Lesser Himalayan Belt runs 7km to the north of the thrust packages.Within the belt,tectonic slices of 400m to 1km in thickness are repeated three to five times due to thrusts,sandwiching a thin slice of the Siwalik beds.The thrust package consists of the pre\|Siwalik sedimetary rocks and sills of dolerite,and named as the Bagmati Group.The thickness is only about 800m due to tectonic repition by thrust,although the group has been considered to be a continuous sequence attaining 2200m in thickness.We divided the Bagmati Group into three formations,each of which shows an upward\|coarsening and thickening sequence of 200 to 350m in thickness.All sequence is composed of red\|brown orthoquartzite,pink quartzite,micaceous shale and thin sandstone interbed and rhythmite,mottled hematite and hematitic pisolite.We interpret that the Bagmati Group was deposited in shallow lacustrine and desert environments.
文摘The effects of thickness and types of gold plating on the resistance to high temperature discoloration of gold plating on cavity surface of ceramic package were investigated. It was found that the thicker gold plating, the less discoloration degree for ceramic packages. Non-cyanide gold plating performed better resistance to high-temperature aging than cyanide gold plating. The relationship between the gold plating thickness and the amount of diffused Ni to the gold plating of ceramic packages with Au/Ni and Au/Ni-Co platings after heating at 420℃for 15 min was also studied. When the gold plating thickness reach 2.0 μm and 1.6 μm for Au/Ni and Au/Ni-Co plating systems, respectively, no discoloration was observed on the gold plating surface of cavity, and the corresponding diffused Ni amounts (mass fraction) are 1.0% and 0.4%, while the diffused Co to the gold plating is 0.04%.
文摘Due to the mismatch in the coefficients of thermal expansion of slicon chip and the surrounding plastic encapsulation materials, the induced thermal stress is the main cause for die and encapsulant rupture. The corner geometry is simplified as the semi_infinite wedge. Then the two_dimensional thermal stress distribution around the corner was obtained explicitly. Based on the stress calculation, the strain energy density factor criterion is used to evaluate the strength of the structure, which can not only give the critical condition for the stresses, but also determine the direction of fracture initiation around the corner.
文摘Several food companies are implementing effective strategies to evaluate the environmental impacts of their products or processes and to estimate the greenhouse gases emissions (GHG) using a life cycle approach. Particularly, a sector which can play an important role to reduce the impact on the environment through the life cycle thinking is the beverage packaging. In this context, the aim of this study was to use the life cycle assessment (LCA) method to investigate the consistency of the preference order across two alternative beverage packages through the application of two impact assessment methods, namely the IPCC 2007 which is focused on the GHG emissions estimation and the EcoIndicator 99 which considers several environmental categories including impact on climate change. The results showed that the life cycle approach employment was a useful strategy to investigate the consistency of the preference order across two beverage packages, especially, whether the results are made more reliable by the utilization of primary data. The investigation on climate change conducted on two level, initially, the quantification of the GHG emissions and secondly the estimation of the related diseases and mortality, demonstrated that the laminated carton presents lower impacts than the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottle.
文摘The Chinese traditional tea culture that has reflected Chinese culture for five thousand years should be presented in the tea packaging design by using Chinese traditional cultural elements to propagate Chinese traditional cultural artistic conception and lasting appeal.The purpose of this paper is to research how to present the deep cultural inside information and oriental characteristics in packaging design,which can make entire world feel the depth and profound of Chinese culture when the Chinese traditional tea culture go into the international stage.More importantly,a particular packaging design could increase the merchandises' attraction and concentrate people's attention on them.

文摘How to effectively use the multi-energy demand elasticity of users to bid in the multi-energy market and formulate multi-energy retail packages is an urgent problem which needs to be solved by integrated energy service providers(IESPs)to attract more users and reduce operating costs.This paper presents a unified clearing of electricity and natural gas based on a bi-level bidding and multi-energy retail price formulation method for IESPs considering multi-energy demand elasticity.First,we propose an operating structure of IESPs in the wholesale and retail energy markets.The multi-energy demand elasticity model of retail-side users and a retail price model for electricity,gas,heat and cooling are established.Secondly,a bi-level bidding model for IESPs considering multi-energy demand elasticity is established to provide IESPs with wholesale-side bidding decisions and retail-side energy retail price decisions.Finally,an example is given to verify the proposed method.The results show that the method improves the total social welfare of the electricity and natural gas markets by 7.99%and the profit of IESPs by 1.40%.It can reduce the variance of the electricity,gas,and cooling load curves,especially the reduction of the variance of the electricity load curve can which reach 79.90%.It can be seen that the research in this paper has a positive effect on repairing the limitations of integrated energy trading research and improving the economics of the operation of IESPs.

文摘The continuing miniaturization of electronic devices in microelectronics and semiconductors drives the development of new packaging materials with enhanced thermal conductivity to dissipate the heat generated in electronic packages. In recent years, several promising composite materials with high thermal conductivity have been developed successfully for high performance electronic equipment to replace the traditional Kovar and Cu/W or Cu/Mo alloys, such as SiCp/Al, SICp/Cu, diamond/Al and diamond/Cu. However, these materials with high content of reinforcements have not been widely used in packaging field because they are hard to be machined into complex-shaped parts due to their greater hardness and brittleness. So, it is necessary to explore a near-net shape forming technology for these composites. In this paper, a novel technology of powder injection molding-infiltration is introduced to realize the near-net shaped preparation of the composite packages with high thermal conductivity.
文摘In this paper we study how organizational learning impacts organizational behavior, and how vendor support quality enhances product adoption and usage behavior. These constructs were verified using Application Software Packages (ASP) - a prewritten, precoded, commercially available set of programs that eliminates the need for individuals or organizations to write their own software programs for certain functions. The relationship between ASP usage, usage outcomes and use processes were also investigated. Two hundred and ninety-five Chinese, Indian, and Malay entrepreneurships were studied. It was found that usage outcome strongly determines usage, while use process has only an indirect relationship (via outcome) on usage. The impact of organizational learning and vendor service quality on usage, usage outcome, and use process were robust. Theoretical and practical implications of the research are discussed.

文摘In order to determine the theoretical minimum clamping pressure required in carton clamp handling of heavyweight corrugated package(HCP)such as large packages or unitized agricultural product packages,a numerical model of clamping pressure was developed.To develop the model,the dynamic load factor was measured at the handling test course which was designed on the basis of actual handling environment of the target HCP.Also,the static-frictional coefficients between the HCPs and between the HCP and a rubber contact pad of carton clamp arm were analyzed.The main factors in the developed numerical model of clamping pressure were the handling load weight and the effective contact area of the carton clamp arm.In addition,field tests were performed to validate the theoretical minimum clamping pressure calculated from the model.Averaged slip distance from the single package and two packages handling was estimated as a 3.2 mm through field test,and it is expected that the 3.2 mm slip distance will be acceptable for a safe operation in the handling environment.The suggested analytical approach with the numerical model can be a useful means for estimating the clamping pressure of the carton clamps used to handle the HCP.

文摘An intrinsic property of software in a real-world environment is its need to evolve, which is usually accompanied by the increase of software complexity and deterioration of software quality, making software maintenance a tough problem. Refactoring is regarded as an effective way to address this problem. Many refactoring approaches at the method and class level have been proposed. But the research on software refactoring at the package level is very little. This paper presents a novel approach to refactor the package structures of object oriented software. It uses software networks to represent classes and their dependencies. It proposes a constrained community detection algorithm to obtain the optimized community structures in software networks, which also correspond to the optimized package structures. And it finally provides a list of classes as refactoring candidates by comparing the optimized package structures with the real package structures. The empirical evaluation of the proposed approach has been performed in two open source Java projects, and the benefits of our approach are illustrated in comparison with the other three approaches.

文摘Managing software packages in a scientific computing environment is a challenging task, especially in the case of heterogeneous systems. It is error prone when installing and updating software packages in a sophisticated computing environment. Testing and performance evaluation in an on-the-fly manner is also a troublesome task for a production system. In this paper, we discuss a package management scheme based on containers. The newly developed method can ease the maintenance complexity and reduce human mistakes. We can benefit from the self-containing and isolation features of container technologies for maintaining the software packages among intricately connected clusters. By deploying the Super Computing application Strore(SCStore) over the WAN connected world-largest clusters, it proved that it can greatly reduce the effort for maintaining the consistency of software environment and bring benefit to achieve automation.
