It can reproduce the spectra measured in experiment. Differences of neutral particle energy spectra in higher and lower electron density plasma are discussed. Results show that the ion temperature given by neutral particle energy spectra is lower than the real ion temperature, but the deviation is within 10% if the ion temperature is less than 800 eV and thecentral chord-averaged electron density does not exceed 3 ×1013 cm-3. But for ion temperature higher than 1000 eV at the central chord-averaged density limit up to 5 ×1013 cm-3, the neutral particle energy spectra can still give the ion temperature within 10% deviation.展开更多

The melting layer of the nimbostratus was clearly defined in the radar images. The microphysical structure of the nimbostratus was elucidated by a King liquid water probe and Particle Measuring Systems (PMS) probes aboard the research aircraft. The PMS 2-D images provided detailed information of ice crystal transformations. A thick layer of supercooled cloud was observed, and the high ice particle concentrations at temperatures ranging from -3℃ to -6℃ were consistent with Hallett-Mossop ice multiplication. The shape of ice crystals from near the cloud top to the melting layer were in the form of columns, needles, aggregations, and plates. In addition, significant horizontal variability was evident on the scale of few hundred meters. Particle spectra in this cloud were adequately described by exponential relationships. Relationship between the intercept (No) and slope (2) parameters of an exponential size distribution was well characterized by a power law.展开更多

The spin-orbit splitting of hyperon in medium mass hypernuclei is systematically larger than that in light- or heavy-mass hypernuclei. The sensitivity of the Lambda spin-orbit splitting to the omega-Lambda-Laznbda tensor coupling term is also explored.展开更多

The electron mobility lifetime products (μτ)e of the CdZnTe crystals were predicted by fitting plots of photo-peak position versus electrical field strength using the single carrier Hecht equation. A TOF technique was employed to evaluate the electron mobility for CdZnTe crystals. The mobility was obtained by fitting the electron drift velocities as a function of the electrical field strengths, where the drift velocities were achieved by analyzing the rise-time distributions of the voltage pulses formed by a preamplifier. A fabricated CdZnTe planar detector based on a low In concentration doped CdZnTe crystal with (μτ)e = 2.3 × 10?3 cm2/V and μe =1000 cm2/(V·s), respectively, exhibits an excellent γ-ray spectral resolution of 6.4% (FWHM = 3.8 keV) for an un-collimated 241Am @ 59.54 keV isotope.展开更多
