从同文馆到北京大学:近代中国“Peking University”概念考论

从晚清到民国,“Peking University”的指称对象先后包括京师同文馆、汇文书院、京师大学堂、私立燕京大学和国立北京大学五所驻京高等教育机构,其中既有国立最高学府,也有私立教会学校。虽然部分属于非正式名称,但仍具有广泛社会影响。语言概念的重叠带来话语表达中的歧义,同时也投射出多元复杂的历史图景。依据档案、报刊、辞书、回忆录等材料,返回历史现场,梳理近代中国“Peking University”概念的生成和流变,从中考察新式教育的引入、中西观念的互动及文化空间的形成,有助于探求译名背后的知识建构、教育转型与社会变迁。

The Book Publishing and Analysis of Modern Peking University Library

The paper is based on literature search,introducing and analyzing the book publishing situation of modern Peking University Library from the perspective of the publisher being Peking University Library and its predecessor.It is pointed out that the majority of the book printing methods published by the modern Peking University Library are lead printing,and among the types of Chinese library classification,catalogue of library collections is the most common.

Analysis of the Books Issued by Yadong Library, Published by Peking University Publishing Department: Taking Several Bibliography Advertisements Carried in Newspapers and Magazines From 1919-1922 as Examples

Based on several bibliographic advertisements carried in newspapers and magazines from 1919 to 1922 for books published by Peking University Publishing Department,and issued by Yadong Library,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the books published by Peking University Publishing Department during this period,and points out that Yadong Library entered its golden period of development due to move from the alley to the main road and obtain the management rights of the books published by Peking University Publishing Department.

Low-Carbon Campus Construction Based on Ecological Footprint Theory:A Case Study of Shenzhen Graduate School,Peking University

Since the sustainable development has been widely acknowledged worldwide,the sustainable campus development based on low-carbon campus construction has already become a tendency of building resource-saving and environment-friendly society.It is a hot and difficult topic in the current campus planning to measure,estimate and construct low-carbon campuses.This paper calculated the ecological footprint of traffic,water,energy and daily life on the campus of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School,obtained the energy consumption of each item on campus and individual low-carbon activities using questionnaire survey and interview,compared the data with those of other domestic and foreign campuses.The results showed that(1) Ecological footprint of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School in 2016 was 4,269 hm^2,and per capita ecological footprint was 1.49 hm^2;(2) Total carbon emission in 2016 was 13.4×107 kg,among which power generation and food produced the most carbon emission;(3) Students had strong awareness of low-carbon life,and the main obstacles for low-carbon life were "Hard to change living habits","Greedy vanity",and "No efficiency instruction";(4) In terms of the overall proportion,control of energy consumption is the main approach of reducing campus carbon emission,which is similar to other domestic and foreign campuses.The carbon emission of daily life in Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School was significantly higher than that of foreign campuses,while that of traffic was lower.Suggestions and improvement measures were put forward in view of the existing problems.

从课程教学到文化教育:北京大学信息素质教育工作的回顾与展望

图书馆学家陈鸿舜生平、贡献与成就考略

陈鸿舜是20世纪中国图书馆界的知名人物,但其生平活动很少有人进行研究。着眼于此,文章广泛挖掘洛克菲勒基金会收藏的陈鸿舜档案、哥伦比亚大学出版物、陈鸿舜的中英文著述成果等中外文史料,首先概述陈鸿舜的生平活动,包括他在燕京大学和哥伦比亚大学图书馆学院的求学经历,在燕京大学图书馆和北京大学图书馆学专修科等处的工作经历;然后介绍他在开展图书馆学教育和推进中美图书馆界交流方面作出的贡献;最后介绍他在图书馆学研究和汉学研究两个领域取得的成就。

北京大学地质学的学科建制与学风转向(1917—1924)

晚清国人引入地质学知识与教育,意在致用,尤重探矿、采矿的现实需求。蔡元培出任北京大学校长后,主张专设文理两科,开展学理研究,故自1917年恢复停办的地质学门。受观念、师资与设备的限制,地质学门的学科建制仍偏重矿冶,学理研究进展缓慢。1919年,其改组为地质学系,欲引入欧美系师资,扭转学风。随着葛利普、李四光等相继入职,地质学系教师与学界同人合作开展研究;学生组织地质研究会;师生联合调查地质,学理研究得以顺利展开。同时,北大本教授治校理念,创建的教授会、评议会等机构,保障其在变幻的时局下仍能进行学理研究。至1924年,地质学系的学科建制已较为完备,在培养地质人才的同时,推动中国科学和经济事业的发展。

黄侃在北京大学如何讲授《文心雕龙》——对《黄侃〈文心雕龙札记〉考原》一文论证前提的思考

《黄侃〈文心雕龙札记〉考原》一文以范文澜《文心雕龙讲疏》对黄侃《文心雕龙札记》的征引为前提,判断黄侃在北大“词章学”课堂讲授《文心雕龙》的篇目内容以及授课讲义的编撰情况。由于这一前提并不可靠,故所得结论亦难令人信服。其实,范文澜撰写《讲疏》时已拥有黄侃讲授《文心雕龙》的全部讲义,而“词章学”课程的教学内容以文章作法为主,并非无所不包。黄侃在北大讲授《文心雕龙》有前后期之分,前期主要是在“词章学”课堂讲授创作论部分的篇目,后期则在“中国文学概论”课堂重点讲授总论部分的篇目,至于文体论几篇,通常作为讲授创作论和总论时的例证,贯穿于前后期,用以配合串讲。

多馆模式下高校纸质文献学科化典藏体系的构建与思考——以北京大学为例

面向支持高校“双一流”建设,图书馆应正确认识或重新认识文献典藏工作。文章在文献调研的基础上,以北京大学为例,首先梳理总分馆文献典藏工作现状和问题,进而分析构建总分馆纸质文献典藏体系应考虑的因素,重点探讨构建纸质文献学科化典藏体系的框架,明确了优化三线动态典藏制,在全校实现按学科组织纸质文献的典藏体系。最后对新的典藏体系进行深入分析和思考,为构建良性循环的总分馆学术资源生态系统夯实基础。

北京大学藏秦简《制衣》“襲”字考

北京大学藏秦代简牍《制衣》记载了秦代“襲”衣的尺寸和制法,其“襲”字的含义在古代服饰与“三礼”研究中具备特殊性,厘清“襲”字释义并对“襲”的使用价值作出判断具备必要性。梳理历代典籍文献及学者对“襲”的注释训解,并与同时期汉墓遣策记载相比较,得出以下结论:秦汉时期,“襲”在服饰名称、穿戴动作及礼仪方面有规范的用法;《制衣》中“襲”为无下裙拼接的短款上衣,结合遣策、文献典籍记载,证明其为真实存在的;“襲”衣的形制、用途、使用人群在秦代、西汉初期至西汉中晚期经历了快速变化;“襲”字在“裼襲礼”中的使用有吉丧之分,结合遣策推测,在丧礼中“襲”衣为地方官府所赠裞衣,用以抚恤已故之人。

文章采用网站调研、文献调研和案例分析方法,从建设主体、收录资源和主要功能三方面总结分析我国高校图书馆特藏文献数据库建设现状及存在的问题,据此提出我国高校图书馆特藏文献数据库建设策略,即提高持藏文献数据库建设主体能力,促进特藏文献资源融合共享;创建基于用户需求的特藏文献数据库内容体系,结构化管理特藏文献数据库内容,拓宽特藏文献数据库资源覆盖面;提升特藏文献数据库服务功能,建立特藏文献数据库增值服务体系。
