Analysis of the Effect of Intensive Nursing Care on Improving Sleep Quality During the Perioperative Period of Severed Finger Reimplantation

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of perioperative intensive nursing on patients who underwent severed finger reimplantation and its influence on sleep quality.Methods:62 patients who underwent severed finger reimplantation between January 2023 and December 2023 were included.They were divided into two groups:the observation group(n=31)and the control group(n=31).The control group received basic nursing interventions,while the observation group received intensive nursing care.The comparison parameters included visual analog pain score(VAS),incidence of vascular crises,length of hospitalization,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),Hamilton Depression Score(HAM-D),Hamilton Anxiety Score(HAM-A),and patient satisfaction.Results:Postoperative VAS score,incidence of vascular crisis,hospitalization time,PSQI score,and HAM-A and HAM-D scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Meanwhile,the patient satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Perioperative intensive nursing care for patients undergoing severed finger reimplantation demonstrates significant benefits.It reduces postoperative pain,lowers the incidence of vascular crises,shortens hospitalization durations,enhances sleep quality,alleviates negative emotions,and improves nursing satisfaction.These findings underscore the importance and applicability of such care practices.

Progress in research on the application of nursing models for breast cancer patients during the perioperative period

Nursing models at home and abroad for breast cancer patients during the perioperative period were screened, including eight types of models： the nursing model guided by self-care theory, the plan-do-check-act cycle combined with the four-in-one model, the peer support nursing model, the nursing model guided by transcultural theory, the multidisciplinary cooperative nursing model, the knowledge-attitude-practice nursing model, the safe nursing management model, and the case nursing model. These models were analyzed and described with the aim of providing a reference for the clinical breast surgery nursing staff in China and for promoting the development of nursing in China for breast cancer the perioperative period.

Impact of the Rapid Recovery Concept on Complications and Patient Quality of Life in the Perioperative Nursing of Robot-Assisted Radical Oesophageal Cancer

Aim: This study evaluates the impact of Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) nursing on postoperative complications and quality of life in patients undergoing robot-assisted minimally invasive esophagectomy (RAMIE). Methods: A total of 150 patients who underwent RAMIE from January 2020 to January 2022 at our hospital were randomly assigned to either the observation group or the control group, with 75 patients in each. The control group received standard perioperative management and nursing care, while the observation group was treated with ERAS nursing strategies. Interventions continued until discharge, and outcomes such as postoperative complications, quality of life, and nutritional status were compared between the groups. Results: The observation group exhibited a significantly lower incidence of postoperative adverse reactions compared to the control group (P ionally, all dimension scores of the Short-Form 36 Health Survey (SF-36), including the total score, were higher in the observation group (P < 0.05). Effect of information-motivation-behavioral skills model based perioperative nursing on pain in patients with gallstones

BACKGROUND The incidence of cholecystolithiasis is on the rise.Use of information,motivation,and behavioral skills can play a positive role in promoting changes in individual health behaviors.However,reports on the effects of information-motivationbehavioral(IMB)skills model based high-quality nursing as a perioperative nursing intervention for patients with gallstones are nonexistent.AIM To explore the application of IMB skills model based high-quality nursing in patients with gallstones.METHODS Two hundred and sixteen patients with cholecystolithiasis treated at our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 were enrolled and divided into a control,highquality,and combined nursing groups,with 72 patients in each group.The control,high-quality,and combination groups received conventional,high-quality,and IMB skills model based perioperative nursing services,respectively.Differences in clinical indicators,stress levels,degree of pain,emotional state,and quality of life were observed,and complications and nursing satisfaction among the three groups were evaluated.RESULTS After nursing,the time to recovery of gastrointestinal function in the high-quality and combined nursing groups was significantly shorter than that of the control group,with the recovery of gastrointestinal function being the fastest in the combined nursing group(P<0.05).After nursing intervention,cortisol and norepinephrine levels in the high-quality and combined nursing groups were closer to normal than those of the control group 24 h after surgery,with the combined nursing group having the closest to normal levels(P<0.05).After 3 and 7 d of intervention,the patients’pain significantly improved,which was more prominent in the highquality and combination groups.Meanwhile,the pain score in the combination group was significantly lower than those of the control and high-quality nursing groups(P<0.05).After nursing intervention,the emotional states of all patients improved,and the scores of patients in the combination group were significantly lower than those of the control and high-quality nursing groups.The quality of life of patients in the high-quality and combined nursing groups significantly improved after nursing intervention compared to that of the control group,with the combined nursing group having the highest quality of life score.After intervention,the incidence of complications in the high-quality and combination groups was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),but the difference between the combination and high-quality nursing groups was not significant.Nursing satisfaction of patients in the high-quality and combination groups was significantly higher than that of the control group,with the nursing satisfaction being the highest in the combination group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION IMB skills model based nursing can improve surgical stress levels,degrees of pain,emotional state,quality of life,and nursing satisfaction of patients with gallstones and reduce the incidence of complications.

Cranial ultrasound in perioperative period of acute severe traumatic brain injury

Objective To observe the value of cranial ultrasound for perioperative patients with acute severe traumatic brain injury(sTBI).Methods Data of 55 sTBI patients who underwent craniotomy were retrospectively analyzed.The patients were divided into observation group(n=15)and control group(n=40)according to received perioperative cranial ultrasound or not.The general data and surgical data were compared between groups,and ultrasonic data of observation group were analyzed.Results The proportions of good prognosis 1 and 6 months after operation in observation group were both higher than those in control group,while the incidence of cerebral infarction in observation group was lower than that in control group(all P<0.05).No significant difference of general data nor other surgical data was found between groups(all P>0.05).Acute encephalocele occurred in 1 case in observation group during operation,and cranial ultrasound accurately showed the contralateral secondary epidural hematoma.Increased intracranial pressure in different degrees were found in all 15 cases(15/15,100%)in observation group after operation with transcranial color coded Doppler(TCCD)or transcranial Doppler(TCD),while cerebral vascular spasm was observed in 5 cases(5/15,33.33%),among them 4 cases(4/5,80.00%)were diagnosed cerebral infarction based on CT examination.Conclusion Cranial ultrasound could be used to evaluate changes of sTBI in perioperative period and guide adjusting treatment strategy in time,being valuable for reducing risk of postoperative cerebral infarction and improving prognosis.

Advancements in nutritional diagnosis and support strategies during the perioperative period for patients with liver cancer

Liver cancer represents a grave hepatic condition and constitutes a significant global health concern.Surgical resection remains the principal therapeutic modality for liver cancer.Nevertheless,perioperative malnutrition exerts a notable impact on patients with liver cancer,emerging as an independent risk factor for disease mortality and adverse outcomes.Hence,precise nutritional diagnosis and timely nutritional support hold the potential to enhance therapeutic efficacy and quality of life for liver cancer patients.This study represents a meticulous foray into the literature,extracting data from PubMed,Web of Science,and EMBASE databases,with a focus on the past 5 years.It scrutinizes the impact of malnutrition on patients undergoing liver cancer surgery,the etiological underpinnings of malnutrition within this patient cohort,the critical assessment of perioperative nutritional status,and the strategic approaches to nutritional support.Utilizing rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria,the amassed scholarly works are meticulously synthesized,methodically organized,and categorically elaborated upon.Ultimately,the authors propose the incorporation of a multidisciplinary nutrition management team during the perioperative period,comprising nutritionists,pharmacists,physicians,nurses,psychologists,and rehabilitation therapists,among other specialized professionals.Together,they collaborate to devise and implement personalized nutritional support plans,monitor patients’nutritional status,and make necessary adjustments as required.Through comprehensive management and intervention,improvements in the nutritional status of liver cancer patients can be achieved,thereby enhancing surgical success rates and facilitating postoperative recovery.It is believed that this manuscript will offer valuable insights to advance the nutritional management during the perioperative phase of liver cancer,aiding in ameliorating patients'nutritional status and treatment outcomes.

The Impact of Patient Education on the Nursing Care of Perioperative Patients in the Interventional Catheterization Room

Objective:To explore and analyze the effect of implementing a precise education model on the nursing care of perioperative patients in the interventional catheterization room.Methods:We selected 70 patients who were going to undergo surgical intervention in our hospital from August 2020 to December 2022 as the subjects for this study through random sampling.The patients were divided into a control group and an observation group,with 35 cases in each group.The control group underwent basic nursing intervention,and the observation group was given precise patient education.The nursing effects of both groups were observed.Results:After the intervention,all compliance indicators of the observation group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Besides,the incidence of complications in the observation group(2.86%)was lower than that of the control group(17.14%)with P<0.05.Furthermore,the patient satisfaction of the observation group(97.14%)was higher than that of the control group(82.86%),with P<0.05.Conclusion:A precise propaganda and education model facilitates the nursing of perioperative patients in the interventional catheterization room.Therefore,this practice should be popularized.

Factors influencing individualized nursing care in acute medical and perioperative settings: A scoping review

Individualized nursing care addresses the needs,experiences,behaviors,feelings,and perceptions of patients and families,but its implementation in clinical practice contexts remains challenging.This review aims to map the factors that interfere with the individualization of nursing care,in acute medical and perioperative settings.Scoping review was conducted according to the Joanna Briggs Institute guidelines.The MEDLINE,CINAHL,Cochrane,SciELO,Scientific Repository of Open Access,and LILACS databases were searched for publications from January 2017 up to March 2023.Of the 124 articles selected,17 met the inclusion criteria.The individualization of nursing care is complex and shaped by multiple variables in the care environment,nursing,and patient characteristics.The institutional organization,the nurses’expertise,and the patient’s attributes were identified as variables that interfere with the individualization of nursing care.Individualized nursing care is responsible for better quality of care and health outcomes.The identification of the variables that affect individualized care contributes to planning programs to improve individualization,during hospitalization and the discharge.

Application Value of Evidence-Based Nursing in the Perioperative Care of Ankle Fracture Patients

Objective:To analyze the value of applying evidence-based nursing in the perioperative care of patients with ankle fractures and propose corresponding measures to improve the quality of patient care.Methods:The study started in May 2022 and was terminated in March 2023.During this period,50 patients with ankle fractures treated by our hospital were selected as research subjects.They were divided into a control group and a research group.The control group had 25 patients who received routine care,and the research group had 25 who received evidence-based care.The nursing effects of the two groups were observed and compared.Results:The pain scores,quality of life,incidence of adverse reactions,and nursing satisfaction of patients in the research group were all significantly better than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Evidence-based nursing can effectively improve the quality of care,reduce the risk of adverse reactions,and promote patient recovery,so it is suitable for clinical implementation.

Application of the Modality of Multiple Disciplinary Team for a Perioperative Patient with Suspected Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia and Cervical Spine Fracture in Nursing

With the explosive spread of novel coronavirus pneumonia, a major public major public health emergency has been declared around the world. Our country has come to a crucial stage of “external defense input, internal defense rebound” and strict quarantine measures are taken in all ports of entry throughout the country. Operations on patients with cervical spine during the quarantine, which not only increases the risk of surgical treatment, but also increases the difficulty of perioperative nursing. The objective is to explore the result of application of the modality of multiple disciplinary team for a perioperative patient with suspected novel coronavirus pneumonia and cervical spine fracture in nursing. The patient’s condition and nursing measures are studied and discussed from various specialist angle through the multidisciplinary team established by the isolation ward, orthopedics department, emergency department, anesthesiology department, operating room, rehabilitation department, psychology department and so on, and the overall and personalized surgical and nursing planning is formed through interdisciplinary advice. The nursing experience is summarized in this paper.

Perioperative Nursing for Adult Congenital Heart Disease with Severe Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension

Objectives: To explore the main points of perioperative nursing for adult congenital heart disease with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension. Methods: A retrospective study of 13 patients with congenital heart disease and severe pulmonary arterial hypertension who admitted to the perioperative period of care from January 2018 to December 2019. To prevent perioperative complications of the patients, the focus is on respiratory and circulatory system care, followed by blood coagulation monitoring, digestive system protection and psychological care. Results: All 13 patients passed the perioperative period and were discharged from ICU. Conclusion: Adult congenital heart disease with severe pulmonary arterial hypertension has high perioperative risk, respiratory and circulatory system care is the key.

Perioperative nursing of a newborn with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome

Objective:To explore the perioperative nursing of a newborn with Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome.Methods:We observed the blood glucose of the child and prevent infection of omphalocele before transpor tation and before the operation;after the operation,we performed airway nursing,blood glucose monitoring,urination observation,and tumor marker monitoring;finally,at the time of discharge from the hospital,we provided health education.Results:After a series of perioperative nursing measures,the child was discharged smoothly from hospital 34 d after operation.Conclusions:Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome is a rare congenital malformation.Timely and accurate observation and evaluation of the child during perioperative period and targeted nursing measures can effectively reduce or avoid the occurrence of postoperative complications.

Perioperative Nursing of a Case of Right Temporal Lobe Brain Abscess Ruptured into the Ventricle

Objective: To explore the perioperative nursing method of brain abscess breaking into the ventricle. Methods: By reviewing the clinical data of 1 case of right temporal lobe brain abscess into the ventricle, the effective nursing methods were summarized. Results: The patient’s condition was advanced quickly, and the diagnosis was treated in time to avoid brain hernia, but the treatment was difficult because of the critical condition. Conclusion: Brain abscess is a very serious intracranial infectious disease. It is of great significance to observe the changes in patients’ condition and take effective nursing measures.

Perioperative nursing care for hip arthroplasty patients with concomitant hypertension: A minireview

Hip replacement(HA)is mainly indicated for the elderly,who generally suffer from various underlying diseases such as hypertension.This article provides a review of the key points of perioperative nursing care for patients with hyper-tension undergoing HA.It analyzes the key points of care during the periop-erative period(preoperative,intraoperative,and postoperative)and proposes directions for the development of perioperative nursing care for HA.The pro-gnosis for patients can be improved through the modification of traditional medical approaches and the application of new technologies and concepts.

Evaluation of Clinical Application of ERAS Concept in Perioperative Nursing of HoLEP Patients

[Objectives]To observe the application effect of the concept of accelerated recovery after surgery(ERAS)on patients undergoing trans-urethral holmium laser enucleation of prostate(HoLEP)during perioperative period.[Methods]HoLEP patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia admitted to the Department of Urology,Affiliated Hospital of Jinggangshan University from June to December in 2022 were divided into the observation and control group.40 patients in the control group were given perioperative routine nursing,while 40 patients in the observation group were given perioperative systematic nursing under the concept of ERAS.The nursing effect of different measures were evaluated.[Results]The perioperative related indexes of patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The postoperative feeding,exhaust,spontaneous urination,getting out of bed and hematuria stop time of patients in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).The IPSS score and RUV of patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group,while their Qmax was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).[Conclusions]The application of perioperative systematic nursing under ERAS concept in HoLEP patients can promote patients rapid recovery and reduce their complications.

Perioperative Nursing Management of an Animal Model of Axial Flow Blood Pump Implantation

This study aimed to explore the characteristics of perioperative nursing of experimental goats using self-made axial-flow blood pump implantation and provided theoretical nursing knowledge and practice-based evidence for the clinical application of domestically manufactured artificial cardiac pumps. Methods: Seven experimental goats were used in this study, three for pre-testing and four for the formal experiments. According to the surgical requirements for axial-flow blood pump implantation into the cardiac apex, we creatively designed and made a series of highly practical animal surgical instruments including a composite disassemblable bed for experimental animal transferring and monitoring, a multifunctional animal surgery bed, and portable medical supporting equipment. We also applied for two national invention patents and one utility model patent. Active measures were taken to ensure careful preparation before surgery, close collaboration during surgery, and effective management of complications after surgery. Results: Two of the four experimental goats died during surgery because of a massive hemorrhage caused by distal anastomotic failure and air embolism-induced cardiac arrest caused by air leakage from the outlet into the heart due to poor connection of the auxiliary pressure tap (used to measure left ventricular pressure). The mean survival time of the remaining three experimental goats was 22.7 hours. Conclusion: This study was the first to systematically and comprehensively investigate the perioperative nursing management of axial-flow blood pump implantation using animal models. These findings could greatly promote further clinical applied nursing research of self-made artificial cardiac pump implantation in experimental goats.

Analysis of the Effects of Perioperative Nursing Intervention for Patients with Cerebrovascular Intervention

Objective:To explore the clinical application effects of perioperative nursing intervention in the treatment of patients with cerebrovascular intervention.Methods:176 patients with cerebrovascular intervention in our hospital from October 2018 to March 2020 were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups,with 88 cases in the control group and 88 cases in the observation group.Comparative analysis of blood pressure and incidence of complications was performed.Results:During the operation,the systolic blood pressure of the observation group increased by(11.85±1.66)mmHg,and the diastolic blood pressure was(4.63±0.45)mmHg.The control group patients'systolic blood pressure increased by(22.12±1.98)mmHg and the diastolic blood pressure was(8.36±3.69)mmHg,the two results were significantly different.The blood pressure of the patients in the control group fluctuated more;and the incidence of complications in the observation group is lower than that of the control group.The observation group's incidence of hematoma,low back discomfort,dysuria,and insomnia and dreaminess was 2.27%,2.27%,1.14%,0%,respectively,with total incidence of 5.68%;in the control group,the incidence of hematoma,low back discomfort,dysuria,insomnia and dreaminess were 6.81%,5.68%,3.41%,4.55%respectively,total incidence being 20.45%.The difference between observation group and control group is obvious.Conclusion:Through perioperative nursing intervention,the recovery speed of patients can be improved,and the incidence of postoperative complications can be reduced.The mental state of the patient before the operation was adjusted,the emotions were calmed,the patient's compliance was improved,and the patient's resistive emotions were reduced.At the same time,if patients can get good nursing care after surgery,the probability of postoperative complications is reduced,so that patients have better results in surgery,and its clinical application is worthy of promotion.

Clinical Significance of Preoperative Nutritional Risk Screening and Support in the Perioperative Period of Gastric Cancer Patients

Objective:To investigate the clinical value of using preoperative nutritional risk screening and support in gastric cancer patients.Methods:In this paper,70 gastric cancer patients selected from July 2017 to July 2020 treated in our hospital were grouped concerning the lottery method,and the reference group(n=35)used conventional nutritional support,while the experimental group(n=35)used preoperative dietary risk screening and support,comparing the clinical treatment differences between gastric cancer patients in the experimental group and the reference group.Results:After the intervention,IgA,IgM,IgG,serum albumin,complication rate,NRS score,hospitalization time and anal exhaust time of gastric cancer patients in the experimental group were compared with those in the reference group,P<0.05,and there was statistical validation analysis significance between the data indicators.P<0.05 for the comparison of IgA,IgM,IgG,serum albumin after the intervention and pre-intervention for gastric cancer patients in the experimental group and the reference group,with statistical validation analysis significance between the data indicators.Conclusion:Preoperative nutritional risk screening and support is of significant value in gastric cancer patients and can improve patients’nutritional status.

Application of Clinical Nursing Pathway in the Peri-Treatment Period of Immunoadsorption Therapy for Rheumatic Immune Diseases

Objective: The paper aims to investigate the clinical nursing pathway (CNP) in the application of immunosorption therapy in patients with rheumatic immune disease. Methods: Convenience sampling method was used to select inpatients who received immunoadsorption therapy from January 2020 to December 2022 in the rheumatology and Immunology department of a 3A hospital in Jingzhou City. 30 patients from January 2020 to June 2021 were selected as control group, and 30 patients from July 2021 to December 2022 were selected as observation group. The control group was given routine nursing. On the basis of the control group, the observation group used a clinical nursing pathway for intervention during the perioperative period of immunosorbent therapy. The incidence of adverse reactions, patient satisfaction, and nurse satisfaction during immunosorbent therapy between the control group and the observation group were compared. Results: After intervention, the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, while patient satisfaction and nurse satisfaction in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. The results are all statistically significant (P Conclusion: Clinical nursing pathway is beneficial to reduce the incidence of adverse reactions in patients with immunoadsorption during peri-treatment and improve the satisfaction of patients and nurses.
