The results were as follows : (1)The rooting rate of the cutting reached at least 87 percent, when the cuttings were from the seed tree with the age below 25 years old and the cuts of the cuttings base were in vertical angle and on the fine sand medium. (2) The sequence of effective factors affecting the rooting rate were the style of cut, the age of seed tree and the trpe of mediun. (3) There are significant differences of rooting rate among different clones.展开更多

The results showed that with the change of light environment, crown characters ofPicea koraiensis seedlings exhibited a greater plastic in lateral number, lateral increment, lateral dry weight, and specific leaf area. The range of calculated fractal dimensions of seedling crowns was confined between 2.5728 and 2.1036, but maximum of fractal dimension achieved in term moderate shading and in extreme low light conditions fractal dimension was least.展开更多

Net productivities and their distribution biomass of the stem, bark, branch, leaf and root on the arborous layer of spruce plantation from 6 to 31 a were investigated and stem analyses using mean sample method. The regression equations for estimating the biomass of different organs of individual trees were set up. The result showed that the biomass of stand was 151 t/hm?2 and net productivity was 11～14 t/(hm2·a).展开更多
