Quantum system is inevitably affected by the external environment in the real world.Two controlled quantum dialogue protocols are put forward based on logicalχ-type states under collective noise environment.One is ag...Quantum system is inevitably affected by the external environment in the real world.Two controlled quantum dialogue protocols are put forward based on logicalχ-type states under collective noise environment.One is against collectivedephasing noise,while the other is against collective-rotation noise.Compared with existing protocols,there exist several outstanding advantages in our proposed protocols:Firstly,theχ-type state is utilized as quantum channels,it possesses better entanglement properties than GHZ state,W state as well as cluster state,which make it difficult to be destroyed by local operations.Secondly,two kinds of logicalχ-type states are constructed by us in theory,which can be perfectly immune to the effects of collective noise.Thirdly,the controller can be offline after quantum distribution and permission announcement,without waiting for all the participants to complete the information coding.Fourthly,the security analysis illuminates that our protocols can not only be free from the information leakage,but also resist against the interceptand-resend attack,the entanglement-and-measure attack,the modification attack,the conspiring attack,and especially the dishonest controller’s attacks.展开更多

With the development of the rhetoric study from the origins in ancient Athens and The Rhetoric of Aristotle to the formation of modern Communication Study at the beginning of the twentieth century,the Rhetoric Study c...With the development of the rhetoric study from the origins in ancient Athens and The Rhetoric of Aristotle to the formation of modern Communication Study at the beginning of the twentieth century,the Rhetoric Study changed in dynamic and its concepts and theories merged and formed the foundations of Communication Study which focused on personal communication and speech rhetoric skills at that time.At the beginning of the twentieth century,although the Neo-Aristotelian rhetorical scholars from classic rhetoric approach created methodologies and enriched the content of Communication Study under the influence of humanistic study and social science study,but the Communication discipline was still in the embarrassing position.During World War I and World War II,most scholars with backgrounds of social science,history and anthropology carried out the studies of propaganda wars and the message disseminating,and explored the military powers and governments’access to the media and developed serial communication modes from the social science perspective,which laid the foundation for Communication discipline in the academic field.The author analyzed the Rhetoric and Social Science origins of Communication study in Boxing Plato’s Shadow:an Introduction to the Study of Human Communication,which is beneficial and helpful to understand the academic origins of Communication study and its cross-disciplined and embarrassing positions.展开更多

We are discussing one of the most unlikely hypotheses in the history of mathematics—Proclus’ hypothesis, which overturns a traditional view on Euclid’s Elements and the history of mathematics, starting since Euclid...We are discussing one of the most unlikely hypotheses in the history of mathematics—Proclus’ hypothesis, which overturns a traditional view on Euclid’s Elements and the history of mathematics, starting since Euclid. According to Proclus, the main goal of Euclid, when writing the Elements, was to build a complete geometric theory of Platonic solids (Book XIII), associated in the ancient philosophy (Pythagoras, Plato) with the Universe harmony. To construct this theory, Euclid introduced in Book II the problem of dividing a segment into extreme and mean ratio (the “golden section”). It follows from Proclus’ hypothesis that Euclid’s Elements are the first attempt to create the “Mathematical Theory of the Universe Harmony”, based on Platonic solids and the “golden section”.展开更多
