Xianyang Lake is the abbreviation of Weihe River(Xianyang Urban Area Section) Comprehensive Treatment Project,which is to build a partition wall in the middle of the 500 wide Weihe River Valley,then a 270 m wide water...Xianyang Lake is the abbreviation of Weihe River(Xianyang Urban Area Section) Comprehensive Treatment Project,which is to build a partition wall in the middle of the 500 wide Weihe River Valley,then a 270 m wide water storage channel on the north side and a 230 m wide muddy water floodway channel on the south side will be formed.Two rubber dams are constructed in the water storage channels to form a 'Xianyang Lake' with an area of 1.24×106 m2,meanwhile,along both sides of Weihe River in this section,slope protection and flood prevention as well as a series of greening and cultural landscape projects are to be constructed.This project,with flood prevention as the core,aims to improve the living environment and protect ecological environment,and realize the comprehensive treatment of river way flood-proofing,desilting,sewage purification,greening and beautification.The construction of Xianyang Lake greatly improves the image of Xianyang City and generates considerable economic,social and ecological benefits,however,it also has negative effects,such as insufficient lake water supply,original ecology being intervened by human activities,aggravating local fiscal burden,and potential threats to the flood-proofing in the lower reaches of Weihe River.The author puts forwards that 'creating a lake by damming the river' in the process of urbanization and solving the conflicts between sectional interests and integrated interests should follow natural laws and go along the track of sustainable development,which is also the orientation of future work,and the concrete reform scheme is to be further studied.展开更多
Social networks are important media for spreading information, ideas, and influence among individuals.Most existing research focuses on understanding the characteristics of social networks, investigating how informati...Social networks are important media for spreading information, ideas, and influence among individuals.Most existing research focuses on understanding the characteristics of social networks, investigating how information is spread through the "word-of-mouth" effect of social networks, or exploring social influences among individuals and groups. However, most studies ignore negative influences among individuals and groups. Motivated by the goal of alleviating social problems, such as drinking, smoking, and gambling, and influence-spreading problems, such as promoting new products, we consider positive and negative influences, and propose a new optimization problem called the Minimum-sized Positive Influential Node Set(MPINS) selection problem to identify the minimum set of influential nodes such that every node in the network can be positively influenced by these selected nodes with no less than a threshold of ?. Our contributions are threefold. First, we prove that, under the independent cascade model considering positive and negative influences, MPINS is APX-hard. Subsequently, we present a greedy approximation algorithm to address the MPINS selection problem. Finally, to validate the proposed greedy algorithm, we conduct extensive simulations and experiments on random graphs and seven different realworld data sets that represent small-, medium-, and large-scale networks.展开更多

Anima is one of the archetypes, which made both negative and positive influences in Poe＇s life and literary creation, leading him to be the master of poetry and short stories, but also consumed his life and caused his death in the prime. In the study about the influence of anima in Poe, Anima was proved acting as the feminine complement factors in Poe＇s unconscious, and made Poe more sensitive in literary creation. As Poe knew the man＇s world and also understood the woman＇s world, which is the accumulative influence of both negative and positive influences of Anima in Poe, his literary creativity was strong and he had the unique aesthetics.展开更多
