In cognitive radio networks, the problem of power control is an important issue. In this paper, we mainly focus on the problem of power control for fading channels in cognitive radio networks. The spectrum sharing underlay scenario is considered, where SUs are allowed to coexist with PUs on the condition that the outage probability of PUs is below the maximum outage probability threshold limitation due to the interference caused by SUs. Moreover, besides the outage probability threshold which is defined to protect the performance of PUs, we also consider the maximum transmit power constraints for each SU. With such a setup, we emphasize the problem of power control to minimize the outage probability of each SU in fading channels. Then, based on the statistical information of the fading channel, the closed expression for outage probability is given in fading channels. The Dual-Iteration Power Control (DIPC) algorithm is also proposed to minimize the outage probability based on Perron-Frobenius theory and gradient descent method under the constraint condition. Finally, simulation results are illustrated to demonstrate the performance of the proposed scheme.展开更多

Besides, the interaction between power and channel is considered. The Nash equilibrium has been proved to exist. Based on this model, a power control and channel allocation optimization algorithm with low energy consumption (PCCAA) is proposed. Theoretical analysis shows that PCCAA can converge to the Pareto Optimal. Simulation results demonstrate that this algorithm can reduce transmission power and interference effectively. Therefore, this algorithm can reduce energy consumption and prolong the network lifetime.

文摘This paper proposes an approach called PC-CORP (Power Control based Cooperative Opportunistic Routing Protocol) for WSN (Wireless Sensor Networks), providing robustness to the random variations in network connectivity while ensuring better data forwarding efficiency in an energy efficient manner. Based on the realistic radio model, we combine the region-based routing, rendezvous scheme, sleep discipline and cooperative communication together to model data forwarding by cross layer design in WSN. At the same time, a lightweight transmission power control algorithm called PC-AIMD (Power Control Additive Increase Multiplicative Decrease) is introduced to utilize the co- operation of relay nodes to improve the forwarding efficiency performance and increase the robustness of the routing protocol. In the simulation, the performance of PC-COPR is investigated in terms of the adaptation of variations in network connectivity and satisfying the QoS requirements of application.

文摘This paper investigates the power control and routing problem in the communication process of an energy harvesting(EH)multi-hop cognitive radio network(CRN).The secondary user(SU)nodes(i.e.,source node and relay nodes)harvest energy from the environment and use the energy exclusively for transmitting data. The SU nodes(i.e.,relay nodes)on the path, store and forward the received data to the destination node.We consider a real world scenario where the EH-SU node has only local causal knowledge,i.e.,at any time, each EH-SU node only has knowledge of its own EH process, channel state and currently received data.In order to study the power and routing issues,an optimization problem that maximizes path throughput considering quality of service(QoS)and available energy constraints is proposed. To solve this optimization problem,we propose a hybrid game theory routing and power control algorithm(HGRPC).The EH-SU nodes on the same path cooperate with each other, but EH-SU nodes on the different paths compete with each other.By selecting the best next hop node,we find the best strategy that can maximize throughput. In addition,we have established four steps to achieve routing,i.e.,route discovery, route selection, route reply, and route maintenance.Compared with the direct transmission,HGRPC has advantages in longer distances and higher hop counts. The algorithm generates more energy, reduces energy consumption and increases predictable residual energy. In particular, the time complexity of HGRPC is analyzed and its convergence is proved. In simulation experiments, the performance(i.e.,throughput and bit error rate(BER))of HGRPC is evaluated. Finally, experimental results show that HGRPC has higher throughput, longer network life, less latency, and lower energy consumption.

文摘An optimization of device-to-device(D2D) security rate algorithm based on power control is provided to enhance the physical layer security underlaying D2D communication and guarantee the data rate requirement of the cellular user(CU) at the same time.First,a scenario model is set up,in which an eavesdropper is considered to wiretap the information of D2D transmitters. Then,a secure region of D2D communication is proposed. When D2D communication users reside outside the secure region, the spectrum of CU's is not allowed to share with the D2D communication so as to avoid eavesdropper tapping useful information of D2D communication. When D2D communication users reside inside the secure region, the security rate of D2D is maximized by optimization of the transmitting power of D2D and CU.The simulation results showthat the achieved D2D security rate of the proposed algorithm increases 2.8 bps/Hz when the signal to noise ratio(SNR) is 15 d B,compared with that when the random access algorithm is used.

文摘This paper proposes an analysis and a direct power control (DPC) design of a wind turbine driven doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) under unbalanced network voltage conditions. A DFIG model described in the positive and negative synchronous reference frames is presented. Variations of the stator output active and reactive powers are fully deduced in the presence of negative sequence supply voltage and rotor flux. An enhanced DPC scheme is proposed to eliminate stator active power oscillation during network unbalance. The proposed control scheme removes rotor current regulators and the decomposition processing of positive and negative sequence rotor currents. Simulation results using PSCAD/EMTDC are presented on a 2-MW DFIG wind power generation system to validate the feasibility of the proposed control scheme under balanced and unbalanced network conditions.

文摘This paper investigates a power control problem in a jamming system, where a separate smart jammer is deployed to ensure the communication security of the legal user. However, due to power leakage, the smart jammer may incur unintentional interference to legal users. The key is how to suppress illegal communication while limit the negative impact on legal user.A jamming counter measure Stackelberg game is formulated to model the jamming power control dynamic of the system. The smart jammer acts as a leader to sense and interfere illegal communications of the illegal user, while the illegal user acts as a follower. In the game, the impact of uncertain channel information is taken into account.According to whether illegal user considers the uncertain channel information,we investigate two scenarios, namely, illegal user can obtain statistical distribution and accurate information of interference channel gain and its own cost, respectively. This work not only proposes a jamming counter measure iterative algorithm to update parameters, but also gives two solutions to obtain the Stackelberg equilibrium(SE).The power convergence behaviours under two scenarios are analyzed and compared.Additionally, brute force is used to verify the accuracy of the SE value further.
文摘This paper introduces the simulation, and controls using Simulink of MATLAB for PCTRAN (Personal Computer Transient Analysis) of the power control system (PWR) type pressurized water reactor of PWR WESTINGHOUSE AP1000. The power controller model produces mathematical model description in nonlinear relation form in Simulink of MATLAB which is an important and popular program used at most universities for education.
