Teachers’ beliefs toward multilingual awareness in target language learning play a significant role in shaping learners’ attitudes to language awareness, affect learners’ linguistic behavior and teachers’ teaching...Teachers’ beliefs toward multilingual awareness in target language learning play a significant role in shaping learners’ attitudes to language awareness, affect learners’ linguistic behavior and teachers’ teaching practice. Therefore, the present study was aimed to explore English teachers’ beliefs about Inner Mongolian university students’ multilingual awareness in L3 learning and their teaching practice in Chinese EFL context. One hundred English teachers from six universities in Inner Mongolia, China, participated in this investigation. The data was collected through a questionnaire and teacher interviews. The results indicate that English teachers hold positive attitudes to multilingual awareness in general;however, there are belief differences between Mongolian and Han teachers;there exist discrepancies between English teachers’ beliefs about multilingual awareness and their teaching practice, and social-cultural environment, family language policy,teacher identity, learning experience, teaching materials, and, more importantly, teachers’ lack of awareness of fostering learners’ multilingual awareness lead to the discrepancies. The present research highlights the necessity of raising teacher awareness of cultivating multilingual awareness in future teacher development and emphasizes the significance of exploring the potential cognitive advantages of multilingualism in promoting L3 learning and developing English learners’ multilingual competence in the EFL context in China.展开更多

文摘New requirements have been proposed for GIS practice teaching in colleges and universities in response to the developmental changes of national and industrial sectors during the social transition.Meanwhile,the underlying core characteristics of GIS should remain unchanged in GIS teaching to ensure they serve as the inherent attributes distinguishing GIS from other disciplines.Therefore,the clarification of the dialectical relationship between “changing” and “unchanging” in GIS practice teaching becomes the primary issue to address in relevant teaching reform.To address this issue,the present study systematically analyzes the structural contradictions in GIS practice teaching in the social transition period,and then closely examines the dialectical relationship between “changing” and “unchanging” from the key aspects of educational philosophy,teaching content,teaching methodology,and teaching assessment.Next,using the course of “GIS Practice Design” at the Central South University as an example,the present study describes this university’s reform and inheritance in GIS practice teaching,aiming to provide reference for GIS practice teaching in other universities or majors.

文摘In order to respond to the new engineering construction of the Ministry of Education,and explore the innovative talent training model of collaborative education and multidisciplinary integration,this paper relies on the software engineering teaching team of the School of Software Engineering,Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications,through the implementation of the collaborative education project of the Ministry of Education,and proposes the multi-course collaborative practice teaching system,through the reasonable cross-fusion of the practical links of the 5 software engineering courses in the college,realizes the multi-course collaborative education and reasonable cross-fusion of courses,shares practical project resources,introduces new enterprise technologies,and guides students’innovation and entrepreneurship provide a meaningful reference for the collaborative arrangement of teaching content and cross-disciplinary integration in the current university education system.
文摘Teachers’ beliefs toward multilingual awareness in target language learning play a significant role in shaping learners’ attitudes to language awareness, affect learners’ linguistic behavior and teachers’ teaching practice. Therefore, the present study was aimed to explore English teachers’ beliefs about Inner Mongolian university students’ multilingual awareness in L3 learning and their teaching practice in Chinese EFL context. One hundred English teachers from six universities in Inner Mongolia, China, participated in this investigation. The data was collected through a questionnaire and teacher interviews. The results indicate that English teachers hold positive attitudes to multilingual awareness in general;however, there are belief differences between Mongolian and Han teachers;there exist discrepancies between English teachers’ beliefs about multilingual awareness and their teaching practice, and social-cultural environment, family language policy,teacher identity, learning experience, teaching materials, and, more importantly, teachers’ lack of awareness of fostering learners’ multilingual awareness lead to the discrepancies. The present research highlights the necessity of raising teacher awareness of cultivating multilingual awareness in future teacher development and emphasizes the significance of exploring the potential cognitive advantages of multilingualism in promoting L3 learning and developing English learners’ multilingual competence in the EFL context in China.

文摘By analyzing the dilemma encountered in practical teaching of new media advertising course in the digital economy era, this paper explores the teaching path of new media advertising course based on “three-dimensional” practical teaching system, and believes that it is necessary to accurately determine talent training objectives, and construct the three dimensions of practical teaching, practical ability, and new media entrepreneurship and employment. Finally, the teaching countermeasures of practical teaching system based on three dimensions are put forward.

文摘Based on the necessity of three dimensional modeling with computer in teaching reform, this paper is the summarization of reform practice of teaching engineering drawing in our institute. The teaching reform begins with three dimensional modeling that used computer instead of board. On the basis of target of teaching reform, set of teaching content, arrangement of class hour and teaching method, the research of teaching practice have been done, and very good effects in teaching of engineering drawing have been achieved.
