The resulting micro-Doppler effect is determined by parameters such as the target's motion state and size. A three-dimensional reconstruction method for the precession warhead via the micro-Doppler analysis and inverse Radon transform(IRT) is proposed in this paper. The precession parameters are extracted by the micro-Doppler analysis from three radars, and the IRT is used to estimate the size of targe. The scatterers of the target can be reconstructed based on the above parameters. Simulation experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper.展开更多

Uncertainties in various predictions and observations suggest that the attribution of Mercury’s precession is still not well understood. This paper argues that the cause of Mercury’s precession is not gravity, but the inertia of material motion left over from the formation of the solar system. According to this inertia theory, the planetary precession is associated with the ratio of total mass-energy density of the system to the mass-energy of the Sun and its change over time. If other factors are not changed with time, the perihelion precession of planets per orbit is proportional to his distance relative to the Sun. The conclusions of this paper can provide more effective factor considerations for the complete description of various astronomical events and phenomena using general relativity equations.展开更多

Moreover, there are a number of phenomena which suggest that this is caused by its invariant nature and the gravitation constant might be in fact a variable. In this article, a possible dependence of the gravitational constant on the distance between the two mass points is determined from the observed values of the perihelion displacement of the planets. However, to fit the observed measurements the 1/r2 dependence is modified to a 1/r2+1/R dependence with “R” as the Rydberg constant. With the proposed new power function, the perihelion precessions of the planets are recalculated and then compared with previous observations as well as the postulated anomaly of Saturn.展开更多

While the standard Milankovitch-precession theory fails to explain the long intervals between interglacials, these can be accounted for by a novel forcing and feedback system involving CO2, dust and albedo. During the glacial period, the high albedo of the northern ice sheets drives down global temperatures and CO2 concentrations, despite subsequent precessional forcing maxima. Over the following millennia more CO2 is sequestered in the oceans and atmospheric concentrations eventually reach a critical minima of about 200 ppm, which combined with arid conditions, causes a die-back of temperate and boreal forests and grasslands, especially at high altitude. The ensuing soil erosion generates dust storms, resulting in increased dust deposition and lower albedo on the northern ice sheets. As northern hemisphere insolation increases during the next Milankovitch cycle, the dust-laden ice-sheets absorb considerably more insolation and undergo rapid melting, which forces the climate into an interglacial period. The proposed mechanism is simple, robust, and comprehensive in its scope, and its key elements are well supported by empirical evidence.展开更多

The characteristic of conductance is obtained at zero temperature. We find that competition between spin-exchange interaction on the spin site and spin-orbit interaction in the barriers dominates the resonant behavior of conductance. In a parallel configuration, conductance peaks have identical amplitude. With the angle θ increasing, the width of resonant peaks is broadened or narrowed for different spin coherent states. In an anti-parallel case, spin-flip tunneling in the barriers will essentially enhance amplitude of the conductance peak.展开更多

The Lunar motion makes there be a huge gap existing in the core angular momentum between far lunar hemisphere and near lunar hemisphere. The gap results in the difference rota-tion in the Earth’s inner core, meanwhile, it increases the angular velocity of far lunar hemisphere and decreases the angular velocity of near lunar hemisphere. The Earth’s liquid outer core gene-rates an astro-geodynamical effect including the difference rotation among the Earth’s circles. It is found that when the moon moves into the apogee or the perigee of the lunar orbit, and the moon phase is the upper and lower chords (i.e. semi-diameter place), the true anomaly of the moon will change from 270-degree back (or forward) to 90-degree;this results in the mantle shell of the Earth westward, and forms lunisolar precession, the vernal equinox westward and Chandler polar motion.展开更多

The bore or the hydraulic jump is the main concentration. The experimental results are varied;this includes velocity results and geometrical ones related to the depths, phases, and lengths. For the geometrical ones a Coupled-Charged Device Camera (CCD) is used to extract pictures, those enable us to get quantitative and qualitative results. For the velocity results, Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter (ADV) is used to extract the velocity signals under the bore surface, after analyzing them it turned out that they have Cnoidal form, thus a new BBM model is derived, which is exactly as the one derived by Peregrine (1966), the only difference is the forcing gravity term, this model is solved analytically after omitting this gravity term as it is considered small, and the solution is compared with the real signals with good match. Finally, a new relationship that connects between the conjugate depths after and before the bore is derived which has time-space dependency due to the Centrifugal effect, it was also used and compared with some experimental results.展开更多
