Dynamically enhanced Autler–Townes splitting by orthogonal XUV fields

Based on numerical solutions of the time-dependent Schr ¨odinger equation, we theoretically investigate the photoelectron spectrum of hydrogen atoms ionized by a pair of ultrashort, intense, and orthogonally polarized laser pulses with a relative time delay in a pump–probe configuration. The pump pulse resonantly excites electrons from the 1s and 2p levels,inducing Rabi oscillations. The resulting dynamically enhanced Autler–Townes(AT) splitting is observed in the photoelectron energy spectrum upon interaction with the second probe pulse. In contrast to the previous parallel-polarization scheme, the proposed orthogonal-polarization configuration enables the resolution of dynamically enhanced AT splitting over a considerably wider range of probe photon energies. 展开更多

Experimental data of the Autler-Townes splitting fit well to the dressedatom theory, by which the fact of the cold atoms dressed by cooling/trapping laser beams is revealed. The results of the theoretical fitting with experiment not only told us the effective Rabi frequency cold atoms experienced, but also could be used for measuring the probability amplitudes of the dressed states. 展开更多

Dynamics of entanglement protection of two qubits using a driven laser field and detunings:Independent and common,Markovian and/or non-Markovian regimes

Preventing quantum entanglement from decoherence effect is of theoretical and practical importance in the quantum information processing technologies.In this regard,we consider the entanglement dynamics of two identical qubits where the qubits which are coupled to two independent(Markovian and/or non-Markovian) as well as a common reservoir at zero temperature are further interacted with a classical driving laser field.Then,we study the preservation of generated two-qubit entanglement in various situations using the concurrence measure.It is shown that by applying the classical driving field and so the possibility of controlling the Rabi frequency,the amount of entanglement of the two-qubit system is improved in the off-resonance condition between the qubit and the central cavity frequencies(central detuning) in both non-Markovian and Markovian reservoirs.While the central detuning has a constructive role,the detuning between the qubit and the classical field(laser detuning) affects negatively on the entanglement protection.The obtained results show that long-living entanglement in the non-Markovian reservoir is more accessible than in the Markovian reservoir.We demonstrate that,in a common reservoir non-zero stationary entanglement is achievable whenever the two-qubit system is coupled to the reservoir with appropriate values of relative coupling strengths. 展开更多

Furthermore, it works in the regime, where the Rabi frequency of the laser is on the order of the trap frequency. A detailed semiclassical study of the propagation of generated mixing and probe fields is demonstrated. The analytical dependence of the generated mixing field on the probe field and the respective detuning is predicted. Investigation of Quantum Entanglement through a Trapped Three Level Ion Accompanied with Beyond Lamb-Dicke Regime

In this study, our goal is to obtain the entanglement dynamics of trapped three-level ion interaction two laser beams in beyond Lamb-Dicke parameters. Three values of LDP, <span style="white-space:nowrap;"><em>η</em>=0.09, <span style="white-space:nowrap;"><em>η</em>=0.2 </span></span>and <span style="white-space:nowrap;"><em>η</em>=0.3 </span>are given. We used the concurrence and the negativity to measure the amount of quantum entanglement created in the system. The interacting trapped ion led to the formation of phonons as a result of the coupling. In two quantum systems (ion-phonons), analytical formulas describing both these measurements are constructed. These formulas and probability coefficients include first order terms of final state vector. We report that long survival time of entanglement can be provided with two quantum measures. Negativity and concurrence maximum values are obtained N = 0.553 and for LDP = 0.3. As a similar, the other two values of LDP are determined and taken into account throughout this paper.
