Today 174 (2011) 127], 12 heterogeneous catalysts were screened for CO oxidation, and Au-ZnO/Al2O3 was chosen and optimized in terms of weight loadings of Au and ZnO. The present study follows on to consider the impact of process parameters (catalyst preparation and reaction conditions), in conjunction with catalyst composition (weight loadings of Au and ZnO, and the total weight of the catalyst), as the optimization of the process parameters simultaneously optimized the catalyst composition. The optimization target is the reactivity of this important reaction. These factors were first optimized using response surface methodology (RSM) with 25 experiments, to obtain the optimum: 100 mg of 1.0%Au-4.1%ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst with 220℃ calcination and 100℃ reduction. After optimization, the main effects and interactions of these five factors were studied using statistical sensitivity analysis (SA). Certain observations from SA were verified by reaction mechanism, reactivity test and/or characterization techniques, while others need further investigation.展开更多

Bringing into full consideration of the deformation, stair-stepping effect, overcure effect and building time related to the part fabrication orientation, and using evaluation function method, a multi-objective optimization model for the building orientation is defined. According to the difference in the angles between normal vectors of triangular facets in standard triangulation language (STL) model and z axis, the expressions of deformation area, stair-stepping area, overcure area are established. According to the characteristics in SL process, part building time is divided into four sections, that is, hatching scanning time, outline scanning time, support building time and layer waiting time. Expressions of each building time section are given. Considering the features of this optimization model, genetic algorithm (GA) is used to derive the optimization objective, related software is developed and optimization results are tested through experiments. Application shows that this method can effectively solve the quality and efficiency troubles caused by unreasonable part building orientation, an automatic orientation-determining program is developed and verified through test.展开更多

Out-of-step splitting control is an indispensable means, which could protect the system from major shocks of out-of-step oscillation. After years of development, it has achieved certain amount of research results. Have the existing methods been able to meet the requirements of out-of-step splitting? What improvements are needed? Under this background, this review is written. It combs the development of out-of-step splitting control technologies and analyzes the technical routes and characteristics of different methods. It points out the contradiction between rapidity and optimality is the biggest technical problem, existing in both the traditional local measurement based out-of-step splitting protection and the wide-area information based out-of-step splitting protection. It further points out that the advantages of the two types of protections can be combined with the unique physical characteristics of the out-of-step center to form a more advantageous splitting strategy. Besides, facing the fact of large-scale renewable energy access to power grid in recent years, this review also analyzes the challenges brought by it and provides some corresponding suggestions. It is hoped to provide some guidance for the subsequent research work.展开更多
