Nonreciprocal Photon Blockade Based on Zeeman Splittings Induced by a Fictitious Magnetic Field

Quantum nonreciprocity, such as nonreciprocal photon blockade, has attracted a great deal of attention due to its unique applications in quantum information processing. Its implementation primarily relies on rotating nonlinear systems, based on the Sagnac effect. Here, we propose an all-optical approach to achieve nonreciprocal photon blockade in an on-chip microring resonator coupled to a V-type Rb atom, which arises from the Zeeman splittings of the atomic hyperfine sublevels induced by the fictitious magnetic field of a circularly polarized control laser. The system manifests single-photon blockade or multi-photon tunneling when driven from opposite directions. This nonreciprocity results from the directional detunings between the countercirculating probe fields and the V-type atom, which does not require the mechanical rotation and facilitates integration. Our work opens up a new route to achieve on-chip integrable quantum nonreciprocity, enabling applications in chiral quantum technologies. 展开更多

Controlling the size and distribution of potential barriers within a medium of interacting particles can unveil unique collective behaviors and innovative functionalities.We introduce a unique superconducting hybrid device using a novel artificial spin ice structure composed of asymmetric nanomagnets.This structure forms a distinctive superconducting pinning potential that steers unconventional motion of superconducting vortices,thereby inducing a magnetic nonreciprocal effect,in contrast to the electric nonreciprocal effect commonly observed in superconducting diodes.Furthermore,the polarity of the magnetic nonreciprocity is in situ reversible through the tunable magnetic patterns of artificial spin ice.Our findings demonstrate that artificial spin ice not only precisely modulates superconducting characteristics but also opens the door to novel functionalities,offering a groundbreaking paradigm for superconducting electronics. 展开更多

目的以AH糊剂冷侧压法、热牙胶垂直加压法为对照,口腔锥形束CT(CBCT)三维重建评价使用Reciproc单支锉去除iRoot SP糊剂单尖法术后根管充填材料的再治疗效率。方法选择福建医科大学附属福州市第一医院口腔科2021年7—11月正畸拔除的卵圆... 目的以AH糊剂冷侧压法、热牙胶垂直加压法为对照,口腔锥形束CT(CBCT)三维重建评价使用Reciproc单支锉去除iRoot SP糊剂单尖法术后根管充填材料的再治疗效率。方法选择福建医科大学附属福州市第一医院口腔科2021年7—11月正畸拔除的卵圆形单根管下颌前磨牙90个,采用随机数表法分为iRoot SP糊剂单尖法组(1组)、热牙胶垂直加压组(2组)和AH糊剂冷侧压组(3组)。使用Reciproc单支锉再治疗,终末超声荡洗2 min。分别于根充术后、再治疗、超声荡洗后CBCT扫描并三维重建,记录再治疗时间、根管残余充填材料体积。结果1组再治疗耗时最长,2组最短,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。1组残余充填材料最多,大于2组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),大于3组,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。超声荡洗后,1组残余量大幅度减少,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);最终残余量大于2组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),大于3组,但差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论无论哪种充填方法,Reciproc单支锉再治疗均不能完全去除充填材料。iRoot SP糊剂单尖法进行再治疗耗时最多,残余量也最多,超声荡洗能够显著减少残余量。 展开更多

Variation in patterns of recombination in plant genomes provides information about species evolution,genetic diversity and crop improvement. We investigated meiotic crossovers generated in biparental segregating and reciprocal backcross populations of the allopolyploid genome of rapeseed(Brassica napus)(AACC, 2n = 38). A structured set of 1445 intercrossed lines was derived from two homozygous de novo genome-assembled parents that represented the major genetic clusters of semi-winter Chinese and winter European rapeseeds, and was used to increase QTL resolution and achieve genomic reciprocal introgression. A high-density genetic map constructed with 6161 genetic bins and anchored centromere regions was used to establish the pattern of recombination variation in each chromosome. Around 93%of the genome contained crossovers at a mean rate of 3.8 c M Mb^(-1), with the remaining 7% attributed to centromeres or low marker density. Recombination hotspots predominated in the A genome, including two-thirds of those associated with breeding introgression from B. rapa. Genetic background might affect recombination variation. Introgression of genetic diversity from European winter to Chinese semi-winter rapeseed showed an increase in crossover rate under the semi-winter environment. Evidence for an elevated recombination rate having historically contributed to selective trait improvement includes accumulation of favorable alleles for seed oil content on hotspots of chromosome A10. Conversely, strong artificial selection may affect recombination rate variation, as appears to be the case with a coldspot resulting from strong selection for glucosinolate alleles on A09. But the cold region would be promptly reactivated by crossing design indicated by the pedigree analysis. Knowledge of recombination hotspots and coldspots associated with QTL for 22 traits can guide selection strategies for introgression breeding between the two gene pools. These results and rich genomic resources broaden our understanding of recombination behavior in allopolyploids and may advance rapeseed genetic improvement. 展开更多

Phonon lasers,as a novel kind of lasers for generating coherent sound oscillation,has attracted extensive attention.Here,we theoretically propose a nonreciprocal phonon laser in a hybrid optomechanical system,which is composed of an asymmetric Fabry-Pérot cavity,an ensemble of N identical two-level atoms,and a mechanical oscillator.The effective driving amplitude related to driving direction leads to an obvious difference in mechanical gain and threshold power,bringing about a nonreciprocal phonon laser.In addition,the dependence of the phonon laser on the atomic parameters is also discussed,including the decay rate of the atoms and the coupling strength between the atoms and the cavity field,which provides an additional degree of freedom to control the phonon laser action.Our work provides a path to realizing a phonon laser in an atoms-cavity optomechanical system and may aid the manufacture of directional coherent phonon sources. 展开更多

Nonreciprocal effects are consistently observed in noncentrosymmetric materials due to the intrinsic symmetry breaking and in high-conductivity systems due to the extrinsic thermoelectric effect. Meanwhile, nonreciprocal charge transport is widely utilized as an effective experimental technique for detecting intrinsic unidirectional electrical contributions. Here, we show an unconventional nonreciprocal voltage transition in topological insulator Ag_(2)Te nanobelts. The nonreciprocal voltage develops from nearly zero to giant values under the applied current I_(ac) and external magnetic fields, while remaining unchanged under various current I_(dc). This unidirectional electrical contribution is further evidenced by the differential resistance(dV/dI) measurements. Furthermore, the transition possesses two-dimensional properties under a tilted magnetic field and occurs when the voltage between two electrodes exceeds a certain value. We propose a possible mechanism based on the development of edge channels in Ag_(2)Te nanobelts to interpret the phenomenon. Our results not only introduce a peculiar nonreciprocal voltage transition in topological materials but also enrich the understanding of the intrinsic mechanism that strongly affects nonreciprocal charge transport. 展开更多

ESystems based on EHRs(Electronic health records)have been in use for many years and their amplified realizations have been felt recently.They still have been pioneering collections of massive volumes of health data.Duplicate detections involve discovering records referring to the same practical components,indicating tasks,which are generally dependent on several input parameters that experts yield.Record linkage specifies the issue of finding identical records across various data sources.The similarity existing between two records is characterized based on domain-based similarity functions over different features.De-duplication of one dataset or the linkage of multiple data sets has become a highly significant operation in the data processing stages of different data mining programmes.The objective is to match all the records associated with the same entity.Various measures have been in use for representing the quality and complexity about data linkage algorithms,and many other novel metrics have been introduced.An outline of the problem existing in themeasurement of data linkage and de-duplication quality and complexity is presented.This article focuses on the reprocessing of health data that is horizontally divided among data custodians,with the purpose of custodians giving similar features to sets of patients.The first step in this technique is about an automatic selection of training examples with superior quality from the compared record pairs and the second step involves training the reciprocal neuro-fuzzy inference system(RANFIS)classifier.Using the Optimal Threshold classifier,it is presumed that there is information about the original match status for all compared record pairs(i.e.,Ant Lion Optimization),and therefore an optimal threshold can be computed based on the respective RANFIS.Febrl,Clinical Decision(CD),and Cork Open Research Archive(CORA)data repository help analyze the proposed method with evaluated benchmarks with current techniques. 展开更多

However, due to social change, this value is fast being replaced by individualistic tendencies with implications for age-oriented care provision and receipt. This paper investigates the participation in the socially productive strategy of using ageing-oriented volunteerism to leverage the receipt of care in later life utilizing a quantitative dataset. The results show that volunteering may be undertaken with old age in sight. This needs to take place under circumstances of good communication skills among others. The accumulated time needs to be recorded in a time bank and redeemed with a time bank card in later life. Two-dimensional leveraging points pertain in this context: first, leveraging volunteerism for short or long-term care in the nearest future;second, technological innovation’s facilitation of the same. Volunteerism in this context has the attribute of low levels of depression, with implications for quality of life. These are discussed in the light of the social care pillar of ageing social policy. The paper argues that adopting volunteerism with reciprocation as the ultimate goal constitutes a kickback model for care receipt in later life. It served as a choice of care in later life which is a shock absorber to inadequate formal support infrastructure and individualistic social tendencies in Ghana. It is reminiscent of resistance to the shrinkage of older persons’ social integration in their social world. 展开更多

Bearing condition monitoring and fault diagnosis (CMFD) can investigate bearing faults in the early stages, preventing the subsequent impacts of machine bearing failures effectively. CMFD for low-speed, non-continuous operation bearings, such as yaw bearings and pitch bearings in wind turbines, and rotating support bearings in space launch towers, presents more challenges compared to continuous rolling bearings. Firstly, these bearings have very slow speeds, resulting in weak collected fault signals that are heavily masked by severe noise interference. Secondly, their limited rotational angles during operation lead to a restricted number of fault signals. Lastly, the interference from deceleration and direction-changing impact signals significantly affects fault impact signals. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a method for extracting fault features in low-speed reciprocating bearings based on short signal segmentation and modulation signal bispectrum (MSB) slicing. This method initially separates short signals corresponding to individual cycles from the vibration signals based on encoder signals. Subsequently, MSB analysis is performed on each short signal to generate MSB carrier-slice spectra. The optimal carrier frequency and its corresponding modulation signal slice spectrum are determined based on the carrier-slice spectra. Finally, the MSB modulation signal slice spectra of the short signal set are averaged to obtain the overall average feature of the sliced spectra. 展开更多

This study addresses the pressing need to assess foundation bearing capacity in Opolo,Yenagoa,Bayelsa State,Nigeria.The significance lies in the dearth of comprehensive geotechnical data for construction planning in the region.Past research is limited and this study contributes valuable insights by integrating Geographic Information System(GIS)with the Generalized Reciprocal Method(GRM).To collect data,near-surface seismic refraction surveys were conducted along three designated lines,utilizing ABEM Terraloc Mark 6 equipment,Easy Refract,and ArcGIS 10.4.1 software.This methodology allowed for the determination of key geotechnical parameters essential for soil characterization at potential foundation sites.The results revealed three distinct geoseismic layers.The uppermost layer,within a depth of 0.89 to 1.50 meters,exhibited inadequate compressional and shear wave velocities and low values for oedometric modulus,shear modulus,N-value,ultimate bearing capacity,and allowable bearing capacity.This indicates the presence of unsuitable,soft,and weak alluvial deposits for substantial structural loads.In contrast,the second layer(1.52 to 3.84 m depth)displayed favorable geotechnical parameters,making it suitable for various construction loads.The third layer(15.00 to 26.05 m depth)exhibited varying characteristics.The GIS analysis highlighted the unsuitability of the uppermost layer for construction,while the second and third layers were found to be fairly competent and suitable for shallow footing and foundation design.In summary,this study highlights the importance of geotechnical surveys in Opolo’s construction planning.It offers vital information for informed choices,addresses issues in the initial layer,and suggests secure,sustainable construction options. 展开更多

意图信息透明与互惠意图促进人际信任:来自噪音信任博弈的证据

信任决策是个体在不确定性下作出是否信任他人的风险性社会决策,是人类社会生活的重要组成部分。研究采用噪音信任博弈范式,旨在从互动环境与主体的双视角出发,验证意图信息透明度以及意图类型与决策结果在信任决策中的重要作用。实验1... 信任决策是个体在不确定性下作出是否信任他人的风险性社会决策,是人类社会生活的重要组成部分。研究采用噪音信任博弈范式,旨在从互动环境与主体的双视角出发,验证意图信息透明度以及意图类型与决策结果在信任决策中的重要作用。实验1以无噪音条件作为基线,探索意图信息透明度(清晰vs.模糊)对信任决策的影响。结果发现:被试在意图信息模糊条件下的信任水平显著低于无噪音和意图信息清晰条件;实验2探索在意图信息清晰时,意图类型(互惠vs.违背)与决策结果(收益vs.损失)对信任决策的影响。结果发现:不论结果是收益或损失,互惠意图组被试的信任水平都显著高于违背意图组。研究揭示了在人际互动中意图信息透明和互惠意图均是个体作出信任他人决策的重要依据。 展开更多

南方山区民居木结构榫卯节点抗震性能试验研究

为研究截面参数和节点形式对有穿销直榫节点抗震性能的影响,首先,以梁高、梁宽为研究参数,并与有穿销透榫节点作对比,共设计制作了4个足尺节点试件;然后,通过低周往复加载试验,研究不同参数下节点的破坏形态、滞回曲线、骨架曲线、延性... 为研究截面参数和节点形式对有穿销直榫节点抗震性能的影响,首先,以梁高、梁宽为研究参数,并与有穿销透榫节点作对比,共设计制作了4个足尺节点试件;然后,通过低周往复加载试验,研究不同参数下节点的破坏形态、滞回曲线、骨架曲线、延性、强度和刚度退化及耗能能力等性能;最后,推导有穿销直榫节点的弯矩-转角理论公式,并与试验结果进行对比.研究结果表明:试件的主要破坏形态为柱内侧梁榫受拉边缘的顺纹拉裂破坏,伴随有柱内侧梁榫受压边缘的挤压变形和柱外侧梁榫的水平劈裂;节点的弯矩-转角滞回曲线呈捏缩效应明显的反Z形;在试验设计参数范围内,有穿销直榫节点的转动刚度和抗弯承载力随着梁截面高度和宽度的增大而增大,但是强度退化系数和等效黏滞阻尼系数的变化不明显;相比于有穿销透榫节点,有穿销直榫节点的正向抗弯承载力大62%,反向抗弯承载力大26%,且承载力下降更平缓,表明有穿销直榫节点具有更好的抗震性能;有穿销直榫节点理论公式所得结果与试验结果误差在9%内. 展开更多

应用ABAQUS软件建立YO组合密封的有限元模型,分别比较Y形组合密封与Y形密封、聚氨酯和丁腈橡胶2种材料的Y形组合密封,在密封区域的静态接触压力和Mises应力分布,分析O形圈截面直径对2种材料Y形组合密封性能的影响规律。结果表明:Y形组... 应用ABAQUS软件建立YO组合密封的有限元模型,分别比较Y形组合密封与Y形密封、聚氨酯和丁腈橡胶2种材料的Y形组合密封,在密封区域的静态接触压力和Mises应力分布,分析O形圈截面直径对2种材料Y形组合密封性能的影响规律。结果表明:Y形组合密封在密封区域的接触压力和Mises应力均大于相同规格、材料的Y形圈,且外行程时Y形组合密封接触压力增大更明显,应力分布更均匀,验证了Y形组合密封的双重密封和改善根部抗撕裂的特性;在O形圈截面直径相同的情况下,聚氨酯组合密封外行程与内行程的最大接触压力差值远远高于丁腈橡胶组合密封,而丁腈橡胶组合密封Mises应力分布更均匀;随着O形圈截面直径的增大,聚氨酯组合密封的最大接触压力呈现先增大后减小的趋势,丁腈橡胶组合密封呈现逐渐减小的趋势,但两者的Mises应力均呈现逐渐增大的趋势,且丁腈橡胶组合密封增大更显著。研究结果为不同工作条件下密封件的选择提供了参考依据。 展开更多

开展冷弯薄壁型钢-结构防火一体板自攻螺钉连接抗剪性能试验研究,完成35个典型试件单调拉伸及低周往复加载试验,分析结构防火一体板厚度、螺钉直径、螺钉端距及加载角度等因素对其抗剪性能的影响。结果表明:不同加载角度及螺钉端距的试... 开展冷弯薄壁型钢-结构防火一体板自攻螺钉连接抗剪性能试验研究,完成35个典型试件单调拉伸及低周往复加载试验,分析结构防火一体板厚度、螺钉直径、螺钉端距及加载角度等因素对其抗剪性能的影响。结果表明:不同加载角度及螺钉端距的试件呈现不同的破坏模式,主要包括板材端部撕裂破坏、板材孔壁承压破坏、板材被拉断破坏等,且破坏时试件的自攻螺钉存在不同程度的倾斜。对于试验端分别采用直径为4.8、5.5 mm螺钉的试件,试件的峰值荷载及延性系数与螺钉直径无明显相关性,弹性刚度随着螺钉直径增大而显著提升;随着螺钉端距由15 mm增大至25 mm,试件的弹性刚度无明显变化,而峰值荷载和延性系数提高了约35%;随着板厚由12 mm增大到20 mm,试件的峰值荷载提高了约40%,弹性刚度提高了约90%,延性系数降低了约30%;与加载角度为0°的试件的特征参数相比,加载角度为45°时,试件弹性刚度提高了约100%,峰值荷载及延性系数无明显差别;加载角度为90°时,试件弹性刚度及峰值荷载无明显差别,延性系数降低了约40%。 展开更多
