English teaching process is the process of"asking"and"answering"between teachers and students. Appropriate teachers' questions are conducive to cultivate students' divergent thinking, and encourage students to better master knowledge by thinking and discussing, thus contributing to classroom interactions move towards a climax.展开更多

In this study, we looked specifically at family relationships with the aim of finding effective anti-smoking education measures. We surveyed 290 university students in order to establish their current smoking habits, along with their family relationships from primary and junior high school until now. The results showed that students with one or more smokers in their family were clearly more likely to smoke. Furthermore, a poor relationship between the student’s parents and a poor relationship with his/her father are believed to have a causal relationship with the student smoking. In the section in which students were asked how often they were told to study, we found that students who smoked had been instructed to study a significantly higher number of times. It is believed that the stress experienced by students frequently told that they must study during their elementary or junior high school years leads to a tendency to smoke. Among the group of non-smokers, we found many who ate breakfast with their parents during elementary or junior high school, along with many who regularly went on holidays with their families. The lack of these things appears to distance parents from children and may be a factor regarding why children end up smoking. In this study, while no clear correlation was found between family relationships and smoking, several types of family relationships that may lead to smoking were suggested.展开更多

The symptoms of PTSD are particularly believed to occur predominantly in children. We believe that Yogo teachers, who play a role in maintaining and promoting the health of children, are expected to provide appropriate support for children with a tendency for PTSD. In this study, we investigated the tendency for PTSD in students at University, as well as self-esteem related to depression and anxiety. Furthermore, we clarified the relationship between PTSD and self-esteem and examined the support provided by Yogo teachers. As a result, it was found that the higher the tendency for PTSD, the lower the self-esteem. We believe that the onset of PTSD causes a decline in memory ability and attentional function, which interferes with one’s life and leads to self-denial, resulting in a decline in self-esteem among those with a high tendency for PTSD. These results suggest that Yogo teachers should provide support to prevent the onset of PTSD in child students due to accidents, incidents, natural disasters, etc., as well as support to prevent the decline in self-esteem associated with the onset of PTSD.展开更多

It is also a reflector of child centred teaching practices, classroom quality and child outcomes. These relationships are influenced by many factors that are personal to teacher and child and are also related to the classroom environment. Positive teacher-child relationships develop warm and secure teacher-child bondings which are beneficial for the socioemotional and academic success of the child. Dependent and conflictual teacher-child relationships are stressful for teachers and have a negative outcome for the child. This paper explores the literature to recognise the factors affecting teacher-child relationships and have proposed a conceptual framework to understand these relationships in ethnically and socioeconomically diverse classrooms. Literature has tried to define these relationships according to the attachment theory or through bio-ecological model of development thus ignoring the role of culture as a major factor in formation of these relationships. This paper used Bourdiue’s theory of Capital, Field and Habitus and Contextual System Model of Pianta as theoretical framework and proposes Cultural Framework for teacher-child relationships.展开更多
