This paper analyzed GPS data from the Topo-Iberia network spanning almost 12 years(2008-2020).The data quality information for all 26 Topo-Iberia stations is provided for the first time,complementing the Spanish Geolo...This paper analyzed GPS data from the Topo-Iberia network spanning almost 12 years(2008-2020).The data quality information for all 26 Topo-Iberia stations is provided for the first time,complementing the Spanish Geological Survey’s storage work.Data analyses based on quality indicators obtained using TEQC have been carried out.The guidelines and data quality information from the IGS stations have been considered as the quality references,with the stations ALJI,EPCU,and TIOU standing out as the worst stations,while on the contrary,FUEN,PALM,PILA,and TRIA meet the quality requirements to become an IGS station.The relationship between the GPS data quality and their GAMIT-and Gipsy X-derived postfit ionosphere-free phase residuals has also been investigated,and the results reveal an inversely proportional relationship.It has been found that the stations showing an increase in elevation of the horizon line,also show an increase in cycle slips and multipath,are among the poorest quality stations,and among those with the highest postfit RMS of phase residuals.Moreover,the evolution of the vegetation around the antenna should be considered as it could cause a progressive loss of quality,which is not complying with the IGS standards.The quality assessment shows that the Topo-Iberia stations are appropriate for geodetic purposes,but permanent monitoring would be necessary to avoid the least possible loss of data and quality.In addition,a method to characterize the GNSS data quality is proposed.展开更多

Estimation of the type of residues was performed at intervals of 0,30,90,120,150,and 180 days.During and after the animal feeding study,changes in body weight gain,organ weight, cholinesterase activity,serum enzyme activity,and hematology were investigated.There is an indication that bound residues of the pesticide pirimiphos-methyl provoke toxic effects to some extent.1989 Academic Press.Inc.展开更多

The quantitative and diversity changes and metabolic responses of soil-bacterial communities in common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), jerusalem artichoke (Silphiurn perfoliatum L.) and evening primrose (A colypha australis L.) rhizospheric soils were thus examined using the method of carbon source utilization. The results indicated that there were various toxic effects of crude oil residues on the growth and reproduction of soil bacteria, but the weed rhizospheres could mitigate the toxic effects. Total heterotrophic counting colony-forming units (CFUs) in the rhizospheric soils were significantly higher than those in the non-rhizospheric soils. The culturable soil-bacterial CFUs in the jerusalem artichoke (S. perfoliatum) rhizosphere polluted with 0.50 kg/pot of crude oil residues were almost twice as much as those with 0.25 kg/pot and without the addition of crude oil residues. The addition of crude oil residues increased the difference in substrate evenness, substrate richness, and substrate diversity between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of T. officinale and A. australis, but there was no significant (p〉0.05) difference in the Shannon's diversity index between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of S. perfoliatum. The rhizospheric response of weed species to crude oil residues suggested that S. perfoliatum may be a potential weed species for the effective plant-microorganism bioremediation of contaminated soils by crude oil residues.展开更多
Cubic Mn_(2)Ru_(x)Ga Heusler compound is a typical example of compensated ferrimagnet with attractive potential for high-density,ultrafast,and low-power spintronic applications.In the form of epitaxial thin films,Mn_(...Cubic Mn_(2)Ru_(x)Ga Heusler compound is a typical example of compensated ferrimagnet with attractive potential for high-density,ultrafast,and low-power spintronic applications.In the form of epitaxial thin films,Mn_(2)Ru_(x)Ga exhibits high spin polarization and high tunability of compensation temperature by freely changing the Ru content x in a broad range(0.3<x<1.0).Herein Mn-Ru-Ga-based polycrystalline bulk buttons prepared by arc melting are systematically studied and it is found that in equilibrium bulk form,the cubic structure is unstable when x<0.75.To overcome this limitation,Mn-Ru-Ga is alloyed with a fourth element V.By adjusting the content of V in the By adjusting the content of V in the Mn_(2)Ru_(0.75)V_(y)Ga and Mn_(2.25-y)Ru_(0.75)V_(y)Ga quaternary systems the magnetic compensation temperature is tuned.Compensation is achieved near 300 K which is confirmed by both the magnetic measurement and anomalous Hall effect measurement.The analyses of the anomalous Hall effect scaling in quaternary Mn-Ru-V-Ga alloy reveal the dominant role of skew scattering,notably that contributed caused by the thermally excited phonons,in contrast to the dominant intrinsic mechanism found in many other 3d ferromagnets and Heusler compounds.It is further shown that the Ga antisites and V content can simultaneously control the residual resistivity ratio(RRR)as well as the relative contribution of phonon and defect to the anomalous Hall effect a"/a0'in Mn-Ru-V-Ga,resulting in a scaling relation a"/a0'∝RRR^(1.8).展开更多

Substitution of chemical fertilizers has be...It has been previously argued that application of organic residues added in soils has a great impact on soil quality, grain productivity as well as greenhouse gas emissions. Substitution of chemical fertilizers has become a common practice in agricultural systems which consequently affect the greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural fields. To observe the effects of organic manures and crop residues amendments, five fertilizer treatments including conventional inorganic nitrogen fertilizer—NPK, cow manure, rice straw, poultry manure and sugarcane bagasse were applied in the field for two consecutive pre-monsoon rice seasons. Addition of rice straw, poultry manure and sugarcane bagasse decreased the cumulative N2O emissions by 14% and 31%, and by 1% and 7% and 5% and 3% in 2012 and 2013 respectively when compared with conventional fertilizer treatment (NPK) in both the seasons. Yield differences were not significant (p > 0.005) amongst the treatments, however, a slight increase was observed due to rice straw amendment over control. Soil organic carbon decreased by 11% - 17% under the application of organic residues which might have contributed to lower N2O emissions from the plots. Results of carbon equivalent emission (CEE) and carbon efficiency ratio (CER) indicated that incorporation of rice straw during pre-monsoon rice season had the potential to reduce the N2O emissions and yield scaled emissions of rice production at lower level than the conventional farmers’ practice of using chemical fertilizers (NPK).展开更多

BACKGROUND Heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein A1(hnRNPA1)has been reported to enhance the Warburg effect and promote colon cancer(CC)cell proliferation,but the role and mechanism of the miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in ...BACKGROUND Heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein A1(hnRNPA1)has been reported to enhance the Warburg effect and promote colon cancer(CC)cell proliferation,but the role and mechanism of the miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in CC have not yet been elucidated.AIM To investigate the role and mechanism of a novel miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in enhancing the Warburg effect and promoting CC cell proliferation through the PI3K/AKT pathway.METHODS Paraffin-embedded pathological sections from 220 CC patients were collected and subjected to immunohistochemical analysis to determine the expression of hnRNPA1-b.The relationship between the expression values and the clinicopathological features of the patients was investigated.Differences in mRNA expression were analyzed using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,while differences in protein expression were analyzed using western blot.Cell proliferation was evaluated using the cell counting kit-8 and 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine assays,and cell cycle and apoptosis were detected using flow cytometric assays.The targeted binding of miR-490-3p to hnRNPA1-b was validated using a dual luciferase reporter assay.The Warburg effect was evaluated by glucose uptake and lactic acid production assays.RESULTS The expression of hnRNPA1-b was significantly increased in CC tissues and cells compared to normal controls(P<0.05).Immunohistochemical results demonstrated significant variations in the expression of the hnRNPA1-b antigen in different stages of CC,including stage I,II-III,and IV.Furthermore,the clinicopathologic characterization revealed a significant correlation between hnRNPA1-b expression and clinical stage as well as T classification.HnRNPA1-b was found to enhance the Warburg effect through the PI3K/AKT pathway,thereby promoting proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 cells.However,the proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 cells was inhibited when miR-490-3p targeted and bound to hnRNPA1-b,effectively blocking the Warburg effect.CONCLUSION These findings suggest that the novel miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis could provide a new strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of CC.展开更多
Background:Ischemia-reperfusion can worsen myocardial damage and increase the risk of death.Studies have revealed that ischemic preconditioning provides the best endogenous protection against myocardial ischemia-reper...Background:Ischemia-reperfusion can worsen myocardial damage and increase the risk of death.Studies have revealed that ischemic preconditioning provides the best endogenous protection against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury(MIRI),and the principle of electroacupuncture(EA)preconditioning is comparable to that of myocardial ischemic preconditioning adaption.Our earlier research demonstrated that EA pretreatment inhibits the expression of calmodulin-dependent protein kinase IIδ(CaMKIIδ),sodium/calcium exchanger 1(NCX1),and cyclophilin D,hence providing protection against MIRI.However,the exact mechanism is still unknown.The expression of NCX1 mRNA is directly regulated by microRNA-214(miR-214).Moreover,it suppresses the levels of CaMKIIδand cyclophilin D.Whether these variables contribute to EA preconditioning to improve MIRI needs to be investigated,though.This study aimed to preliminarily determine whether EA pretreatment ameliorates MIRI by modulating the miR-214-3p/NCX1 axis.Methods:We used a rat MIRI model to investigate the effect of EA pretreatment on MIRI and the expression of miR-214-3p.In addition,adenovirus injection inhibited miR-214-3p expression in the rat MIRI model,and the influence of EA pretreatment towards MIRI was observed in the context of blocked miR-214-3p expression.Both the myocardial histological abnormalities and the alterations in the ST segment of the rat electrocardiogram were analyzed.NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδexpression levels were also analyzed.Results:EA pretreatment improved MIRI.In rats with MIRI,EA administration increased miR-214-3p expression while decreasing NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδproteins in cardiac tissues.The beneficial effect of EA pretreatment against MIRI was reversed,coupled with elevated levels of NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδprotein expression,when an adenovirus injection disrupted the expression of miR-214-3p.Conclusions:Our findings preliminarily show that EA pretreatment inhibits the expression of NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδproteins via miR-214-3p,hence exerting MIRI protection.展开更多

As a result of two-dimensional NMR analysis, it was ...To investigate the chemical structure of cell wall mannan obtained from pathogenic yeast, Candida tropicalis NBRC 1400 (former antigenic standard strain, IFO 1400). As a result of two-dimensional NMR analysis, it was shown that the mannan of this strain is composed of α-1,6-, α-1,3-, α-1,2- and β-1,2-linked mannose residues. In this research, the mannan was subjected to three degradation procedures, acid-treatment, α-mannosidase, and acetolysis under two conditions in order to determine the chemical structure of the antigenic oligomannosyl side chains in this molecule. The 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of resultant oligosaccharides, pentaose and hexaose, demonstrated the existence of the oligomannosyl side chains corresponding to Manα1-3Manα1-2Manα1-2Manα1-2Man and Manα1-3Manα1-2Manα1-2Manα1-2Manα1-2Man, respectively, which have previously also been found in Candida albicans serotype A strain mannans. These findings indicate that C. tropicalis and C. albicans serotype A have no significant difference in the chemical structure of these cell wall mannans. Therefore, it can be interpreted that it is extremely difficult to distinguish both species by targeting the antigenic group in these mannans.展开更多

The equations show that the wave-induced Lagrangian residual ot satisfies generalized geostrophic dynamics. The relation of meridional residual current to vertical residual current resulted from the varied bottom is similar to the Sverdrup transport relation. The tranport process of potential vorticity for zeroth order approximation is determined by the advection whose velocity is equal to that of the weve-induced Lagrangian residual current.A Kelvin wave solution and the reated solution of Kelvin wave-induced Lagrangian residual current for the case of slowly varying topography are obtained anaytically. The wave solution shows that a shoaling eastward bottom can decrease the propagation speed of the Kelvin wave and cause it to take a longer time to transmit the energy from the west to the central and easterm parts of the basin, and can also shorten the wavelength and enhance the wave amplitude. The wave-induced residual current solution reveals that the existence of a sloping bottom can result in a onier meridional component of wave-induced mesidual current and that Kelvin wave-induced Lagrangian currents’s responses to bottom variation are greater than those of Kelvin wave orbital currents.展开更多

In case of Cu85.5Al14.5, change in the total residual electrical resistivity due to neutron-irradiation effects has been estimated by including contributions from the short-range order and static atomic displacement correction. Wheat grain was treated with [14C] malathion (specific activity: 2.76 MBq/mg) to determine the bioavailability of bound residues in rats. At the same time, grain was treated with nonlabeled malathion to test for possible toxic effects of bound residues in a subchronic (90 days) feeding study in rats at two dose levels. 10 and 100 ppm.It was observed that the level of malathion-bound residues amounted to 11.28% of the applied dose (for six months). Also, it was noted that the main route of [14C]-malathion excretion was through the urine. This signifies that grain-bound malathion was bioavailable. In subchronic test on rats bound malathion residues (both dose levels) induced effects to some extent in organ weight (spleen and adrenals), and blood ChE activity. In both, males and females, there was an increase in SGPT activity (lower dose), and in alkaline phosphatase in females (higher dose). Hematological data showed changes only in hemoglobin concentration in males (both dose levels).展开更多
Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and residual effects of trypsin modulating ecstatic factor-Bacillus thuringiensis israeliensis(TMOF-Bti) formulations against Aedes aegypti(Ae. aegypti)(L) larvae at UKM Campus ...Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and residual effects of trypsin modulating ecstatic factor-Bacillus thuringiensis israeliensis(TMOF-Bti) formulations against Aedes aegypti(Ae. aegypti)(L) larvae at UKM Campus Kuala Lumpur.Methods:Twenty first instar Ae.aegypti larvae were added in each bucket containing 4 L of water supplied with crushed dried-leaf powder as their source of food.Combination of TMOF-Bti in rice husk formulation with the following weights viz 10,25,50 and 100 mg,respectively in duplicate was distributed in the buckets;while TMOF-Bti in wettable powder formulation each weighing viz 2,5,10 and 20 mg,respectively in duplicate was also placed in the buckets.The control buckets run in duplicate with 4 L of water and 20 first instar Ae.aegypti larvae.All buckets were covered with mosquito netting.Larval mortality was recorded after 24 hours and weekly for five weeks.A new batch of 20 1^(st) instar larvae Ae.aegypti was introduced into each bucket weekly without additional TMOF-Bti rice husk formulation or wettable powder.The experiment was repeated for four times.Results:The result of the study showed that all formulations were very effective on the first two weeks by giving 100% larval mortality for all concentrations applied.The TMOF(2%) + Bti(2%) had a good residual effect until the end of 3^(rd) week,TMOF(4%) + Bti(4%) until 4^(th) week,wettable powder TMOF(20%) + Bti(20%) until the third week.Condusions:From the results it can be concluded that the TMOF-Bti formulations can be utilized in dengue vector control.展开更多

The results showed that residue conversion was only affected by the reaction temperature and reaction time. The coke yield increased with a higher reaction temperature, a bigger catalyst particle size, a longer reaction time, a lower initial hydrogen pressure and a lower catalyst concentration. Heteroatoms removal rate increased with a higher reaction temperature, a longer reaction time, a higher initial hydrogen pressure, a higher catalyst concentration, and a smaller catalyst particle size. The role of catalyst in the slurry bed technology was discussed and its function could be stated as follows: the metal was applied to activate the hydrogen atoms for removing heteroatoms and saturating aromatics, while the support of the catalyst was used to prevent the mesophase coalescence for reducing coke formation.展开更多

Approximately 2000 samples of vegetables, fruits, cereals, and food of animal origin were analyzed by local laboratories during the years 1983, 1984, and 1985. Samples were randomly obtained from the market, at production levels, or sometimes at custom sites. Approximately 10,000 determinations of single compounds or classes of compounds were carried out. The analytical results are presented and compared with the Italian maximum residue limits. In the majority of the samples analyzed, either there were no residues or the residues were below the permitted level for the specific pesticide in each commodity. High levels of residues were present in a few cases, mainly with respect to some fungicides in fruits and vegetables and chlorinated compounds in some animal products. Finite element simulations were conducted to explore the effects of high temperatures on the loading capacity of slab-column connection for the concrete flat-plate structures by the finite element analysis software AB...Finite element simulations were conducted to explore the effects of high temperatures on the loading capacity of slab-column connection for the concrete flat-plate structures by the finite element analysis software ABAQUS.The structure used for the simulation is a slab which thickness is 150 mm with a 300 mm square column in the middle of slab,the column height is 450mm.The size of this slab is the same as experiments conducted by previous paper[1].Based on the results of simulation,the punching capacity of this structure not experienced high temperature can be predicted with very good accuracy.But the result from simulations underestimated the loading capacity of the structure after it has been cooled by around 10%.This phenomenon is a little bit conflicts with the known experimental results,however,it can be adjusted by modify the material parameters built-in the software.This article is focus on how to best simulate the concrete behavior for both linear and nonlinear part under the room temperature and cooling after experience a very high temperature.展开更多

Analytical data obtained from regional laboratories are tabulated in terms of various commodity groups (vegetables, fruit, cereals, processed or derived foodstuffs, other commodities, legumes, environmental samples, others) and are compared with maximum legal tolerances established by the ministerial ordinance (Italian Ministry of Health) 6.6. 1985.On a total number of 4715 determinations of classes of compounds or of single compounds made on 1601 commodities samples, only N 53 (1.1 %) violative results appeared. No residue was found at levels exceeding regulatory limits or found in commodities where a tolerance had not been established for a specific pesticide/commodity combination.展开更多

文摘This paper analyzed GPS data from the Topo-Iberia network spanning almost 12 years(2008-2020).The data quality information for all 26 Topo-Iberia stations is provided for the first time,complementing the Spanish Geological Survey’s storage work.Data analyses based on quality indicators obtained using TEQC have been carried out.The guidelines and data quality information from the IGS stations have been considered as the quality references,with the stations ALJI,EPCU,and TIOU standing out as the worst stations,while on the contrary,FUEN,PALM,PILA,and TRIA meet the quality requirements to become an IGS station.The relationship between the GPS data quality and their GAMIT-and Gipsy X-derived postfit ionosphere-free phase residuals has also been investigated,and the results reveal an inversely proportional relationship.It has been found that the stations showing an increase in elevation of the horizon line,also show an increase in cycle slips and multipath,are among the poorest quality stations,and among those with the highest postfit RMS of phase residuals.Moreover,the evolution of the vegetation around the antenna should be considered as it could cause a progressive loss of quality,which is not complying with the IGS standards.The quality assessment shows that the Topo-Iberia stations are appropriate for geodetic purposes,but permanent monitoring would be necessary to avoid the least possible loss of data and quality.In addition,a method to characterize the GNSS data quality is proposed.
文摘This study analyzes the level of total and bound pirimiphos-methyl residues in treated wheat grain and its toxic effects on rats.Wheat grain was treated with[(14)~C]pirimiphos-methyl of 16.36 mCi/mmol specific activity to determine the bioavailability of bound residues in rats.At the same time,grain was treated with nonlabeled pirimiphos-methyl as required to determine any possible toxic effects of bound residues in a subacute feeding study in rats.Two dose levels were used:10 and 100 ppm(the former being the recommended dose level in practical treatment). Estimation of the type of residues was performed at intervals of 0,30,90,120,150,and 180 days.During and after the animal feeding study,changes in body weight gain,organ weight, cholinesterase activity,serum enzyme activity,and hematology were investigated.There is an indication that bound residues of the pesticide pirimiphos-methyl provoke toxic effects to some extent.1989 Academic Press.Inc.

文摘Ecological effects of crude oil residues on weed rhizospheres are still vague. The quantitative and diversity changes and metabolic responses of soil-bacterial communities in common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), jerusalem artichoke (Silphiurn perfoliatum L.) and evening primrose (A colypha australis L.) rhizospheric soils were thus examined using the method of carbon source utilization. The results indicated that there were various toxic effects of crude oil residues on the growth and reproduction of soil bacteria, but the weed rhizospheres could mitigate the toxic effects. Total heterotrophic counting colony-forming units (CFUs) in the rhizospheric soils were significantly higher than those in the non-rhizospheric soils. The culturable soil-bacterial CFUs in the jerusalem artichoke (S. perfoliatum) rhizosphere polluted with 0.50 kg/pot of crude oil residues were almost twice as much as those with 0.25 kg/pot and without the addition of crude oil residues. The addition of crude oil residues increased the difference in substrate evenness, substrate richness, and substrate diversity between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of T. officinale and A. australis, but there was no significant (p〉0.05) difference in the Shannon's diversity index between non-rhizospheric and rhizospheric soils of S. perfoliatum. The rhizospheric response of weed species to crude oil residues suggested that S. perfoliatum may be a potential weed species for the effective plant-microorganism bioremediation of contaminated soils by crude oil residues.

文摘Cubic Mn_(2)Ru_(x)Ga Heusler compound is a typical example of compensated ferrimagnet with attractive potential for high-density,ultrafast,and low-power spintronic applications.In the form of epitaxial thin films,Mn_(2)Ru_(x)Ga exhibits high spin polarization and high tunability of compensation temperature by freely changing the Ru content x in a broad range(0.3<x<1.0).Herein Mn-Ru-Ga-based polycrystalline bulk buttons prepared by arc melting are systematically studied and it is found that in equilibrium bulk form,the cubic structure is unstable when x<0.75.To overcome this limitation,Mn-Ru-Ga is alloyed with a fourth element V.By adjusting the content of V in the By adjusting the content of V in the Mn_(2)Ru_(0.75)V_(y)Ga and Mn_(2.25-y)Ru_(0.75)V_(y)Ga quaternary systems the magnetic compensation temperature is tuned.Compensation is achieved near 300 K which is confirmed by both the magnetic measurement and anomalous Hall effect measurement.The analyses of the anomalous Hall effect scaling in quaternary Mn-Ru-V-Ga alloy reveal the dominant role of skew scattering,notably that contributed caused by the thermally excited phonons,in contrast to the dominant intrinsic mechanism found in many other 3d ferromagnets and Heusler compounds.It is further shown that the Ga antisites and V content can simultaneously control the residual resistivity ratio(RRR)as well as the relative contribution of phonon and defect to the anomalous Hall effect a"/a0'in Mn-Ru-V-Ga,resulting in a scaling relation a"/a0'∝RRR^(1.8).
文摘It has been previously argued that application of organic residues added in soils has a great impact on soil quality, grain productivity as well as greenhouse gas emissions. Substitution of chemical fertilizers has become a common practice in agricultural systems which consequently affect the greenhouse gas emissions from agricultural fields. To observe the effects of organic manures and crop residues amendments, five fertilizer treatments including conventional inorganic nitrogen fertilizer—NPK, cow manure, rice straw, poultry manure and sugarcane bagasse were applied in the field for two consecutive pre-monsoon rice seasons. Addition of rice straw, poultry manure and sugarcane bagasse decreased the cumulative N2O emissions by 14% and 31%, and by 1% and 7% and 5% and 3% in 2012 and 2013 respectively when compared with conventional fertilizer treatment (NPK) in both the seasons. Yield differences were not significant (p > 0.005) amongst the treatments, however, a slight increase was observed due to rice straw amendment over control. Soil organic carbon decreased by 11% - 17% under the application of organic residues which might have contributed to lower N2O emissions from the plots. Results of carbon equivalent emission (CEE) and carbon efficiency ratio (CER) indicated that incorporation of rice straw during pre-monsoon rice season had the potential to reduce the N2O emissions and yield scaled emissions of rice production at lower level than the conventional farmers’ practice of using chemical fertilizers (NPK).
文摘The matrix effects of 14 organophosphorus pesticides in 9 kinds of vegetables matrices were preliminarily studied by gas chromatography/flame photomet- ric detection(FPD) in the paper. The matrix effects of 14 organophosphoms pesticides in 9 kinds of vegetable matrices at 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2 mg/L were compared, respectively. The results showed that matrix enhancement effect and matrix attenuation effect existed in all cases, while matrix effects did not have strong correlation with concentrations of pesticides, but were related to species of vegetables and structure and polarity of pesticides.

文摘BACKGROUND Heterogeneous ribonucleoprotein A1(hnRNPA1)has been reported to enhance the Warburg effect and promote colon cancer(CC)cell proliferation,but the role and mechanism of the miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in CC have not yet been elucidated.AIM To investigate the role and mechanism of a novel miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis in enhancing the Warburg effect and promoting CC cell proliferation through the PI3K/AKT pathway.METHODS Paraffin-embedded pathological sections from 220 CC patients were collected and subjected to immunohistochemical analysis to determine the expression of hnRNPA1-b.The relationship between the expression values and the clinicopathological features of the patients was investigated.Differences in mRNA expression were analyzed using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction,while differences in protein expression were analyzed using western blot.Cell proliferation was evaluated using the cell counting kit-8 and 5-ethynyl-2’-deoxyuridine assays,and cell cycle and apoptosis were detected using flow cytometric assays.The targeted binding of miR-490-3p to hnRNPA1-b was validated using a dual luciferase reporter assay.The Warburg effect was evaluated by glucose uptake and lactic acid production assays.RESULTS The expression of hnRNPA1-b was significantly increased in CC tissues and cells compared to normal controls(P<0.05).Immunohistochemical results demonstrated significant variations in the expression of the hnRNPA1-b antigen in different stages of CC,including stage I,II-III,and IV.Furthermore,the clinicopathologic characterization revealed a significant correlation between hnRNPA1-b expression and clinical stage as well as T classification.HnRNPA1-b was found to enhance the Warburg effect through the PI3K/AKT pathway,thereby promoting proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 cells.However,the proliferation of HCT116 and SW620 cells was inhibited when miR-490-3p targeted and bound to hnRNPA1-b,effectively blocking the Warburg effect.CONCLUSION These findings suggest that the novel miR-490-3p/hnRNPA1-b/PKM2 axis could provide a new strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of CC.

文摘Background:Ischemia-reperfusion can worsen myocardial damage and increase the risk of death.Studies have revealed that ischemic preconditioning provides the best endogenous protection against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury(MIRI),and the principle of electroacupuncture(EA)preconditioning is comparable to that of myocardial ischemic preconditioning adaption.Our earlier research demonstrated that EA pretreatment inhibits the expression of calmodulin-dependent protein kinase IIδ(CaMKIIδ),sodium/calcium exchanger 1(NCX1),and cyclophilin D,hence providing protection against MIRI.However,the exact mechanism is still unknown.The expression of NCX1 mRNA is directly regulated by microRNA-214(miR-214).Moreover,it suppresses the levels of CaMKIIδand cyclophilin D.Whether these variables contribute to EA preconditioning to improve MIRI needs to be investigated,though.This study aimed to preliminarily determine whether EA pretreatment ameliorates MIRI by modulating the miR-214-3p/NCX1 axis.Methods:We used a rat MIRI model to investigate the effect of EA pretreatment on MIRI and the expression of miR-214-3p.In addition,adenovirus injection inhibited miR-214-3p expression in the rat MIRI model,and the influence of EA pretreatment towards MIRI was observed in the context of blocked miR-214-3p expression.Both the myocardial histological abnormalities and the alterations in the ST segment of the rat electrocardiogram were analyzed.NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδexpression levels were also analyzed.Results:EA pretreatment improved MIRI.In rats with MIRI,EA administration increased miR-214-3p expression while decreasing NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδproteins in cardiac tissues.The beneficial effect of EA pretreatment against MIRI was reversed,coupled with elevated levels of NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδprotein expression,when an adenovirus injection disrupted the expression of miR-214-3p.Conclusions:Our findings preliminarily show that EA pretreatment inhibits the expression of NCX1 mRNA,cyclophilin D,and CaMKIIδproteins via miR-214-3p,hence exerting MIRI protection.
文摘To investigate the chemical structure of cell wall mannan obtained from pathogenic yeast, Candida tropicalis NBRC 1400 (former antigenic standard strain, IFO 1400). As a result of two-dimensional NMR analysis, it was shown that the mannan of this strain is composed of α-1,6-, α-1,3-, α-1,2- and β-1,2-linked mannose residues. In this research, the mannan was subjected to three degradation procedures, acid-treatment, α-mannosidase, and acetolysis under two conditions in order to determine the chemical structure of the antigenic oligomannosyl side chains in this molecule. The 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of resultant oligosaccharides, pentaose and hexaose, demonstrated the existence of the oligomannosyl side chains corresponding to Manα1-3Manα1-2Manα1-2Manα1-2Man and Manα1-3Manα1-2Manα1-2Manα1-2Manα1-2Man, respectively, which have previously also been found in Candida albicans serotype A strain mannans. These findings indicate that C. tropicalis and C. albicans serotype A have no significant difference in the chemical structure of these cell wall mannans. Therefore, it can be interpreted that it is extremely difficult to distinguish both species by targeting the antigenic group in these mannans.
文摘Based on an inverted one-and-one-half inviscid reduced gravity shallow water model with bottom topography representing an abyssal layer under a stagnant upper layer on the equatorial β-Plane, a set of field equations governing the wave-induced Lagrangian residual currents is developed. The equations show that the wave-induced Lagrangian residual ot satisfies generalized geostrophic dynamics. The relation of meridional residual current to vertical residual current resulted from the varied bottom is similar to the Sverdrup transport relation. The tranport process of potential vorticity for zeroth order approximation is determined by the advection whose velocity is equal to that of the weve-induced Lagrangian residual current.A Kelvin wave solution and the reated solution of Kelvin wave-induced Lagrangian residual current for the case of slowly varying topography are obtained anaytically. The wave solution shows that a shoaling eastward bottom can decrease the propagation speed of the Kelvin wave and cause it to take a longer time to transmit the energy from the west to the central and easterm parts of the basin, and can also shorten the wavelength and enhance the wave amplitude. The wave-induced residual current solution reveals that the existence of a sloping bottom can result in a onier meridional component of wave-induced mesidual current and that Kelvin wave-induced Lagrangian currents’s responses to bottom variation are greater than those of Kelvin wave orbital currents.

文摘Single or mixed use ofAgaricus bisporus residue and microbial agent had better control effect on cucumber root-knot nematode disease in greenhouse. The results showed that the control effect of single use of A. b/sporus residue was 32.9% - 34.7%, and the yield increasing rate was 2.1% - 8.7% ; the control effect of mixed use ofA. b/sporus residue and microbial agent was 59. 1% - 63. 6%, and yield increasing rate was 2.6% - 3.5%. The experimental dose had no ad- verse effects on soil physical and chemical properties. The mixed use of A. b/sporus residue and microbial agent was one of the effective ways to control root-knot nematode disease.

文摘The spin distribution of the evaporation residue cross section of nuclei ^194pb, ^200Pb, ^206Pb, and ^200 Os are calculated via a Langevin equation coupled with a statistical decay model. It is shown that with increasing the neutronto-proton ratio (N/Z) of the system, the sensitivity of the significantly. Moreover, for ^200Os this spin distribution is no spin distribution to the nuclear dissipation is decreased longer sensitive to the nuclear dissipation. These results suggest that to obtain a more accurate pre-saddle viscosity coefficient through the measurement of the evaporation residue spin distribution, it is best to yield those compound systems with low N/Z.
文摘Residual electrical resistivity due to short-range order has been calculated for Cu100-xAlx (x=9.13,13.56, 14.5 and 14.76 in at pct) alloys using pseudopotential approach, and the results have been discussed in the light of experimental studies of the local-order structure of these alloys. In case of Cu85.5Al14.5, change in the total residual electrical resistivity due to neutron-irradiation effects has been estimated by including contributions from the short-range order and static atomic displacement correction. Our results show a decrease in the residual resistivity in the irradiated Cu-Al solid solution as compared to the unirradiated sample. This is in accordance with the experimental results
文摘The level of bound malathion residues in treated wheat grain and its toxic effects on rats were investigated. Wheat grain was treated with [14C] malathion (specific activity: 2.76 MBq/mg) to determine the bioavailability of bound residues in rats. At the same time, grain was treated with nonlabeled malathion to test for possible toxic effects of bound residues in a subchronic (90 days) feeding study in rats at two dose levels. 10 and 100 ppm.It was observed that the level of malathion-bound residues amounted to 11.28% of the applied dose (for six months). Also, it was noted that the main route of [14C]-malathion excretion was through the urine. This signifies that grain-bound malathion was bioavailable. In subchronic test on rats bound malathion residues (both dose levels) induced effects to some extent in organ weight (spleen and adrenals), and blood ChE activity. In both, males and females, there was an increase in SGPT activity (lower dose), and in alkaline phosphatase in females (higher dose). Hematological data showed changes only in hemoglobin concentration in males (both dose levels).

文摘Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and residual effects of trypsin modulating ecstatic factor-Bacillus thuringiensis israeliensis(TMOF-Bti) formulations against Aedes aegypti(Ae. aegypti)(L) larvae at UKM Campus Kuala Lumpur.Methods:Twenty first instar Ae.aegypti larvae were added in each bucket containing 4 L of water supplied with crushed dried-leaf powder as their source of food.Combination of TMOF-Bti in rice husk formulation with the following weights viz 10,25,50 and 100 mg,respectively in duplicate was distributed in the buckets;while TMOF-Bti in wettable powder formulation each weighing viz 2,5,10 and 20 mg,respectively in duplicate was also placed in the buckets.The control buckets run in duplicate with 4 L of water and 20 first instar Ae.aegypti larvae.All buckets were covered with mosquito netting.Larval mortality was recorded after 24 hours and weekly for five weeks.A new batch of 20 1^(st) instar larvae Ae.aegypti was introduced into each bucket weekly without additional TMOF-Bti rice husk formulation or wettable powder.The experiment was repeated for four times.Results:The result of the study showed that all formulations were very effective on the first two weeks by giving 100% larval mortality for all concentrations applied.The TMOF(2%) + Bti(2%) had a good residual effect until the end of 3^(rd) week,TMOF(4%) + Bti(4%) until 4^(th) week,wettable powder TMOF(20%) + Bti(20%) until the third week.Condusions:From the results it can be concluded that the TMOF-Bti formulations can be utilized in dengue vector control.
文摘In this article, residual oil hydroconversion was studied in slurry phase in the presence of fine solid Ni Mo/γ-Al2O3 catalyst and the effects of operating conditions were carefully studied. The results showed that residue conversion was only affected by the reaction temperature and reaction time. The coke yield increased with a higher reaction temperature, a bigger catalyst particle size, a longer reaction time, a lower initial hydrogen pressure and a lower catalyst concentration. Heteroatoms removal rate increased with a higher reaction temperature, a longer reaction time, a higher initial hydrogen pressure, a higher catalyst concentration, and a smaller catalyst particle size. The role of catalyst in the slurry bed technology was discussed and its function could be stated as follows: the metal was applied to activate the hydrogen atoms for removing heteroatoms and saturating aromatics, while the support of the catalyst was used to prevent the mesophase coalescence for reducing coke formation.
文摘Levels of organochlorinated, organophosphate, dithiocarbamic, benzimidazolic, and phthalimidic compounds, as well as some other pesticide residues obtained from Regional Laboratories in the years 1983-1985, were assembled and presented as a part of a study aimed at evaluating food contamination. Approximately 2000 samples of vegetables, fruits, cereals, and food of animal origin were analyzed by local laboratories during the years 1983, 1984, and 1985. Samples were randomly obtained from the market, at production levels, or sometimes at custom sites. Approximately 10,000 determinations of single compounds or classes of compounds were carried out. The analytical results are presented and compared with the Italian maximum residue limits. In the majority of the samples analyzed, either there were no residues or the residues were below the permitted level for the specific pesticide in each commodity. High levels of residues were present in a few cases, mainly with respect to some fungicides in fruits and vegetables and chlorinated compounds in some animal products. (c)1989 Academic Press, Inc.
文摘Finite element simulations were conducted to explore the effects of high temperatures on the loading capacity of slab-column connection for the concrete flat-plate structures by the finite element analysis software ABAQUS.The structure used for the simulation is a slab which thickness is 150 mm with a 300 mm square column in the middle of slab,the column height is 450mm.The size of this slab is the same as experiments conducted by previous paper[1].Based on the results of simulation,the punching capacity of this structure not experienced high temperature can be predicted with very good accuracy.But the result from simulations underestimated the loading capacity of the structure after it has been cooled by around 10%.This phenomenon is a little bit conflicts with the known experimental results,however,it can be adjusted by modify the material parameters built-in the software.This article is focus on how to best simulate the concrete behavior for both linear and nonlinear part under the room temperature and cooling after experience a very high temperature.
文摘Results of analytical surveys on pesticide residue levels in foods for the years 1986-1987 are presented. Analytical data obtained from regional laboratories are tabulated in terms of various commodity groups (vegetables, fruit, cereals, processed or derived foodstuffs, other commodities, legumes, environmental samples, others) and are compared with maximum legal tolerances established by the ministerial ordinance (Italian Ministry of Health) 6.6. 1985.On a total number of 4715 determinations of classes of compounds or of single compounds made on 1601 commodities samples, only N 53 (1.1 %) violative results appeared. No residue was found at levels exceeding regulatory limits or found in commodities where a tolerance had not been established for a specific pesticide/commodity combination.
