Due to the complicatedness of the sea state and the huge size of the vessel,physical experimental study is both time consuming and uneconomical,whereas the numerical study is cost-effective and DNV software provides powerful SESAM software in solving the issues. This paper focuses on the modeling process of the SPM system,catenary equilibrium calculation,static analysis of the vessel in three different scenarios,and dynamic response simulation of the SPM system under environmental excitations. The three scenarios in study are as follows:the SPM is under the combined function of(a) wind,waves and current,(b) wind and waves,(c) current and waves. They are so set that one can compare the contributions of different types of loads in both static and dynamic studies. Numerical study shows that wind and current are the two major factors contributing to the mooring line tension,and surge and sway are the two dominant motions of the moored vessel subjected to environmental excitations.展开更多

In the present study, a single-point mooring buoy system which contains surface buoy, cable segments with components, anchor and so on is modeled by applying multi-body dynamics method. The motion equations are developed in discrete node description and fully Cartesian coordinates. Then numerical method is used to solve the ordinary differential equations and dynamics simulations are achieved while anchor is casting from board. The trajectories and velocities of different nodes without current and with current in buoy system are obtained. The transient tension force of each part of the cable is analyzed in the process of deployment. Numerical results indicate that the transient payload increases to a peak value when the anchor is touching the seabed and the maximum tension force will vary with different floating configuration. This work is helpful for design and deployment planning of buoy system.展开更多

The selection of the principal dimensions and their effect on the characteristics of the system have been discussed. By means of a computer program, the synthetical appraisement has been made in the ultimate mooring condition, disconnecting condition and reconnecting condition respectively. Mean-while, a comparison has been made between DRTM system and CALM system. It has been indicated that DRTM is suitable for the South China Sea and has technological and economical preponderance.展开更多

海洋石油单点系泊(Single Point Mooring,SPM)系统被广泛应用于海洋油气田开发,是海上石油运输的中转终端,采用合理的检测方案以保障其安全性是海洋石油工程领域备受关注的问题。声学探测、目视检测是常用的单点系泊系统外检测技术。本...海洋石油单点系泊(Single Point Mooring,SPM)系统被广泛应用于海洋油气田开发,是海上石油运输的中转终端,采用合理的检测方案以保障其安全性是海洋石油工程领域备受关注的问题。声学探测、目视检测是常用的单点系泊系统外检测技术。本研究基于EdgeTech 6205组合式双频侧扫声呐与条带式多波束测深系统、Innomar SES 2000参量阵浅地层剖面仪、国产FIFISH PRO W6水下机器人等调查装备,介绍了声学探测技术和目视检测技术在国内某单点系泊系统外检测中的应用实例。探测结果表明,该单点系泊区域地形整体平坦,局部受侵蚀冲刷影响,区域内有6条锚链沟发育,锚链沟深度为1.0-4.5 m,锚链摆动小,浮筒稳定性较好;管道埋藏类型分为完全埋藏型、浅埋藏型、裸露型3类。通过综合分析对比,查明了锚链被大量生物附着、腐蚀速度加快的具体位置,提出了定期进行防腐蚀除锈维护的有效建议。展开更多

Hydrodyna...In the present study, the dynamic response of a coupled SPM-feeder-cage system under irregular waves and shear currents is analyzed. A numerical model is developed by using the commercial software Orca Flex. Hydrodynamics coefficients of the vessel are calculated by using a 3D diffraction/radiation panel program. First- and second-order wave forces are included in the calculations. Morison equation is used to compute the drag force on line elements representing the net. Drag coefficients are determined at every time step in the simulation considering the relative normal velocity between the structural elements and the fluid flow. The dynamic response of the coupled system is analyzed for various environments and net materials. The results of the study show the effects of solidity ratio of the net and vertical positions of the cage on the overall dynamic response of the system, confirming the viability of this type of configuration for future development of offshore aquaculture in deep waters.展开更多
