The fluid method and the drift energy correction of the electron energy distribution function(EEDF) are applied to the analysis of the RIT discharge. In the meantime, the PIC-MCC method is used to investigate the ion beam current extraction character for the plasma plume region. The beam current simulation results, with the hybrid model, agree well with the experimental results, and the error is lower than 11%, which shows the validity of the model. The further study shows there is an optimal ratio for the radio-frequency(RF) power and the beam current extraction power under the fixed RIT configuration. And the beam extraction efficiency will decrease when the discharge efficiency beyond a certain threshold(about 87 W). As the input parameters of the hybrid model are all the design values, it can be directly used to the optimum design for other kinds of RITs and radio-frequency ion sources.展开更多

The magnetization dynamics equation of the ensemble was developed. By analytically investigating the equation, many magnetization dynamics properties excited by polarized current reported in experiments, such as double spin wave modes and the abrupt frequency jump, can be successfully explained. It is pointed out that an external field is not necessary for spin wave emitting (SWE) and a novel perpendicular configuration structure can provide much higher SWE efficiency in zero magnetic field.展开更多

In this model, as a convolution response with non-parabolic symmetry, Δn2 (I)≈ρ(b0+ b1f - b2 f^2 with b2/b1 〉 0 is assumed. Furthermore, instead of the wave function Ψ, the high-order nonlinear equation for the beam intensity distribution f has been derived and the bell-shaped soliton solution with the envelope form has been obtained. The results demonstrate that, since the existence of the terms of non-parabolic response, the nonlocal spatial soliton has the bistable state solution. If the frequency shift of wave number β satisfies 0 〈 4(β - ρbo/μ) 〈 3η0/8α, the bistable state soliton solution is stable against perturbation. It should be emphasized that the soliton solution arising from a parabolic-symmetry response kernel is trivial. The sufficient condition for the existence of bistable state soliton solution b2/b1〉 0 has been demonstrated.展开更多

The low energy effects will be triggered by an emerging new physics field content in the nature, more specifically, from spin-1 resonances sourced by the straightforward extension of the SM local gauge symmetry to the larger local group SU(2)_L × SU(2)_R× U(1)_(B-L). Low energy phenomenology will be altered by integrating out the resonances from the physical spectrum, being manifested through induced corrections onto the left handed operators. Such modifications are weighted by powers of the scales ratio implied by the symmetries of the model and will determine the size of the effective operator basis to be used. The recently observed diboson excess around the invariant mass 1.8 TeV–2 TeV entails a scale suppression that suggests to encode the low energy effects via a much smaller set of effective operators.展开更多
