Under suitable conditions, this fixed point corresponds to the throat of a traversable wormhole, <em>i.e.</em>, <em>b</em>(<em>r</em><sub>0</sub>) = <em>r</em><sub>0</sub> for the shape function <em>b</em> = <em>b</em>(<em>r</em>).
