However, it has caused varieties of problems, such as resource unreasonable utilization, society unfair play, and environment pollution, etc. Thus, the establishment of an efficient and sustainable space partition model for tourism urbanization, from the geographical perspective, is highly necessary and urgent. Herein, a new evaluation model of tourist town space, referred to as Tourism Sectorization Opportunity Spectrum(TSOS), is established on the relationships between productionliving-ecology spaces. TSOS is a kind of quantitative evaluation model involving such factors as urban living area, ecological conservation area and the tourism industry. Furthermore, the analysis of quantitative production-living-ecology spatial overlap has been utilized for space division in a tourism urbanization area. This paper, using both the TSOS model and GIS technology, analyzes the spatial restructure of the Mayangxi ecotourism area. Theresult demonstrates that tourism industrial space takes the Shanchong Village as a core which shows a pattern of local regional agglomeration and a fuzzy edge extending along the entire Mayangxi River. The urban living area should be consolidated in the Shili village with the supporting facilities and living space for tourism. In addition, Tianzhu Mountain forest park should be the key environmental protection area. The case study on the Mayangxi ecotourism area verifies that the TSOS model has strong operability. Therefore, TSOS model provides a scientific foundation for the space reconstruction of new urbanization area, and an effective tool for optimizing the space partition of a tourism urbanization area.展开更多

A graph model is first constructed that represents the airspace static structure. Then the DAS problem is formulated as a graph-partitioning problem to balance the sector workload under the premise of ensuring safety. In the iGA, multiple populations and hybrid coding are applied to determine the optimal sector number and airspace sectorization. The sector constraints are well satisfied by the improved genetic operators and protect zones. This method is validated by being applied to the airspace of North China in terms of three indexes, which are sector balancing index, coordination workload index and sector average flight time index. The improvement is obvious, as the sector balancing index is reduced by 16.5 %, the coordination workload index is reduced by 11.2 %, and the sector average flight time index is increased by 11.4 % during the peak-hour traffic.展开更多

The network densif ication technology is recognized as one promising solution. However, the ultra-dense network scheme suffers from severe interference and frequent handovers, which degrade the system performance significantly. In this paper,a virtual sectorization system leveraging a C-plane(control signaling plane) and U-plane(user data plane) split scheme is proposed to overcome these two fundamental problems. Besides,a well-designed fi eld trial is conducted to evaluate its performance. The results show that the interference can be avoided, which leads to a tremendous increase in system capacity. In addition, the number of handovers is also greatly decreased. Thus, the trial results verify the huge potential of the C-plane and U-plane split scheme for system capacity and user experience enhancements.展开更多

The aim of this study was to describe the epidemiological profile of men who have sex with men (MSM) and eventually to determine the proportion of sex workers (SW) among them, as well as the proportion of MSM who have been victims of gender-based violence (GBV). Material and Methods: A cross-sectional study coordinated by the Direction de la Médecine du Travail was carried out at the headquarters of the association ALTERNATIVES in Bangui Bangui from July 1 to October 31, 2021. Consenting MSM present during the study period were systematically included. Sociodemographic variables, those relating to the future vision of the activity and to GBV were collected and analyzed using Epi-Info version 7 software. Results: Forty MSM with an average age of 23 years and mainly secondary education (75.0%) were included. The vast majority of MSM were unemployed (85.0%). 45.0% had been victims of GBV and wanted to stop working as an MSM (47.5%), and almost 2/3 (65.0%) would accept another income-generating activity in exchange for the MSM. Violence was sexual (32.5%), economic (22.5%), physical (20.0%), verbal (12.5%) and psychological (12.5%). Conclusion: The MSM were mainly young, poorly educated, unemployed, and almost half were victims of GBV. The desire to change MSM activity to another income-generating activity alongside that of MSM shows that many of them are SW, workers in the informal sector. This must be taken into account in prevention activities, even if the data needs to be confirmed on a much larger sample.展开更多

The study was based on a mixed perspective consisting of objective analysis of quantitative data and interpretative analysis of qualitative data. The results showed that business and strategic intelligence policies have not been established at either company or state level, as this is an area of activity that is not known to the players in companies and public departments, and there are no units or offices in their organizational structures responsible for managing strategic information for competitiveness on the international market. In addition, there is a real need to establish strategic information management units within companies, upstream, and to set up a national strategic information management department or agency to help local companies compete in the marketplace, downstream. This reflects the importance and timeliness of building business and strategic intelligence policies to ensure economic progress and development in the eastern DRC. Business and strategic intelligence provides companies with an appropriate tool for researching, collecting, processing and disseminating information useful for decision-making among stakeholders, in order to cope with a crisis or competitive situation. The study suggests a number of key recommendations based on its findings. To the government, it is recommended to establish the national policy of business and strategic intelligence by setting up a national agency of strategic intelligence in favor of local companies;and to companies to establish business intelligence units in their organizational structures in favor of stakeholders to foster advantageous decision-making in the competitive market and achieve progress. Finally, the study suggests that studies be carried out to fully understand the opportunities and impact of business and strategic intelligence in African countries, particularly in the DRC.展开更多

KNCV TB Foundation Nigeria through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funded the TB Local Organization Network (LON) 1 and 2 projects that explored the availability of Tuberculosis services based on sector and levels of care. Methods: TB Patient Pathway Analysis was carried out in 14 states comprising 92 facilities. It involved primary, secondary, and tertiary levels of health care in both the public and private sectors. This was a cross-sectional study under program implementation. Proforma was used to collect data on the available TB diagnostic services. Results: In public health facilities, GeneXpert was available at 100% in tertiary facilities in 8 (57%) states;up to 82% in 4 (33%) states, 50% available at secondary facilities in 2 states, and There is none at the primary facilities. Smear microscopy was available at 100% in tertiary facilities in 9 (64%) states and 3 (25%) states have 50% to 82%;secondary -10 (71%) states have > 70% at facilities;primary 1 (7%) state has it in 61% of facilities. Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (TB-LAMP) in tertiary 2 (17%) states have 20% and 100% respectively;secondary 4 (<30%) states have in 1 or 2 facilities;none for primary facilities. In private health facilities, 79% of states have Smear microscopy at both primary and secondary facilities, and only 2 states (14%) at tertiary facilities. Only 1 (7%) state has GeneXpert in all tertiary facilities, 2 (14%) states have secondary facilities, and 4 states in about 1% of facilities. TB LAMP was not available in any tertiary facility, one (7%) state at secondary with coverage of 1%, and 2 (14%) states at primary both with 4% overall facility coverage. Conclusions: There is an inequitable distribution of TB diagnostic services in both sectors and levels of care in Nigeria. TB care and control will improve with enhanced equitable distribution of TB diagnostic services across the health system.展开更多

In order to generate a non-axisymmetric pressure distribution, the concept of power-exponent-phase was first introduced into the formation of AV beams, named “powerexponent-phase acoustic vortices(PAVs)” in this paper. Based on a ring-array of sector transducers, the helical distribution of the low-pressure valley in cross-sections of PAVs, which enables particles to move from a distant position to the center low-potential well along a certain spiral passageway, was proved theoretically. The particle manipulation behavior for PAVs with a power order of 2 is numerically modeled and experimentally confirmed. The results show that PAVs with a nonaxisymmetric spiral pressure distribution can be used to realize the directional transport of particles in an enlarged scope, suggesting prospective application potential in biomedical engineering.展开更多

This must be taken into account in prevention activities, even if the data needs to be confirmed on a much larger sample.
文摘The aim of this study was to verify the existence of business and strategic intelligence policies at the level of Congolese companies and at the state level, likely to foster progress and healthy development in the east of the DRC. Finally, the study suggests that studies be carried out to fully understand the opportunities and impact of business and strategic intelligence in African countries, particularly in the DRC.
文摘Bangladeshi textile and garment sectors defied the global challenges over the last five years and continued to grow although the growth momentum was not so strong before the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the start of the pandemic, both the textile and garment sectors were growing at a higher rate because of rising demand from the international clothing retailers and brands because of two main reasons including the trade war between USA and China and competitive prices of locally made garment.
文摘Coinciding with World Water Day celebrations and under the slogan"Water,a shared responsibility,"the eco-efficient textile technology company,Jeanologia, calls on this productive sector, appealing for a real change, away from greenwashing and towards concrete and collective action.
文摘At present,it is impossible to deny the existence of artificial intelligence in various areas of social life, understood as the simulation of expert human intelligence from computer processes that involve learning, reasoning, and self-correction,its benefits to the medical field,in particular, are innumerable, but their incorporation into health systems has been gradual for many reasons.According to the above, this research analyzed artificial intelligence based on resilient leadership in the health sector, for which qualitative research was carried out with a documentary-bibliographic design with printed and electronic documentary sources with theoretical contributions fromÁvila,Mayer, and Quesada[1],Morgan[2],Villa[3],and Finol[4],among others. It is highlighted that resilient leadership has become a strategic factor in all organizations, since times of uncertainty and changes lead institutions to properly manage the incorporation of technologies specifically AI,achieving in this way that the centers and professionals in the field of health assume the needs of the contexts and the innovations of the same.It is concluded that resilient leadership will allow artificial intelligence in the health sector to generate higher levels of learning and adaptability to the transformations that are necessary, whose resistance would make its application difficult and in the long run it will leave behind professionals who refuse to assume the contributions of these innovative techniques in medical practice.

文摘The global energy transition is a widespread phenomenon that requires international exchange of experiences and mutual learning.Germany’s success in its first phase of energy transition can be attributed to its adoption of smart energy technology and implementation of electricity futures and spot marketization, which enabled the achievement of multiple energy spatial–temporal complementarities and overall grid balance through energy conversion and reconversion technologies. While China can draw from Germany’s experience to inform its own energy transition efforts, its 11-fold higher annual electricity consumption requires a distinct approach. We recommend a clean energy system based on smart sector coupling(ENSYSCO)as a suitable pathway for achieving sustainable energy in China, given that renewable energy is expected to guarantee 85%of China’s energy production by 2060,requiring significant future electricity storage capacity.Nonetheless, renewable energy storage remains a significant challenge. We propose four large-scale underground energy storage methods based on ENSYSCO to address this challenge, while considering China’s national conditions. These proposals have culminated in pilot projects for large-scale underground energy storage in China, which we believe is a necessary choice for achieving carbon neutrality in China and enabling efficient and safe grid integration of renewable energy within the framework of ENSYSCO.

文摘1.The crucial role of heating decarbonization in achieving carbon neutrality in China by 2060,The decarbonization of heating,in both buildings and industries, presents a major challenge and opportunity for China if the nation is going to meet its 2060 commitment to carbon neutrality.Currently,as shown in Fig.1(a)[1],the buildings and industrial sectors share the largest proportion(more than 70%)of end-use energy demand in China. In the buildings sector, heating accounts for half of the energy demand[2];in the industrial sector,50%-70%of the energy demand is for process heating[3].As summarized in Fig.1(b)[3],heating demand in the buildings sector usually requires temperatures below 80℃;in different areas of the industrial sector—including but not limited to distillation, drying, and dyeing—the heating demand ranges across various temperatures that are mainly lower than 170℃.On average, more than 40%of industrial heat consumption falls below 150℃[4].

文摘This research presents a review and classification of the published work related to applied risk analysis and risk management in the maritime liquefied natural gas(LNG)sector from 2000 to 2023.The papers are categorised under two primary contexts. The first is the risk analysis theory context which represents the classification with respect to(w.r.t.)the used risk analysis method, the used risk analysis tool, and the objective of risk analysis, whereas the second is the presented case in the risk analysis context which represents the classification w.r.t.the analysed LNG ship type, the analysed operation, and the inclusion level of human error in risk analysis. The above process has revealed that the interest in this domain of research has increased significantly during the past decade. In addition, the use of dynamic risk analysis(DRA)tools, and the inclusion of human error in the risk analysis model have been observed significantly in the past five years,in particular, for modelling the risk of external LNG transfer operations. It is concluded that the inclusion of the effect of human and organisational factors(HOFs)in risk analysis, and the use of DRA methods for modelling the risk of the daily routine operations of the complex maritime LNG systems can improve the management of the operational risk of these systems.
文摘Background: Delay in Tuberculosis (TB) diagnosis can contribute to late presentation, severe disease, and continued transmission. TB care and control will improve with enhanced equitable distribution of TB diagnostic services across the health system.

文摘Dear Editor,To tackle the global challenges of climate change and energy secu-r ity, building low carbon energy systems has become a research hotspot. Cyber-physical power systems(CPPSs) is an important infrastructure to link both energy and transport systems, two major sectors that are difficult to decarbonize, and it is necessary to establish CPPSs model to consider the integration of both renewable energy and electric vehicle(EV).

文摘The characteristics of traditional acoustic vortices(AVs) were verified by the cross-sectional axisymmetric pressure distributions with perfect phase spirals around the center pressure null. The results show that PAVs with a nonaxisymmetric spiral pressure distribution can be used to realize the directional transport of particles in an enlarged scope, suggesting prospective application potential in biomedical engineering.
